Renoir Towers

Le Parc Puerto Madero is a residential building complex in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The complex comprises three identical skyscraper buildings (Torre del Boulevard, Torre del Parque and Torre del Río) standing at 144 m (472 ft) tall with 43 floors each, completed between 2005 and 2007. The three towers share the thirteenth position in the top of the tallest buildings in Argentina.

The Alvear Tower is a residential and hotel skyscraper on Azucena Villaflor Avenue, east of Dock Two in the upscale Puerto Madero section of Buenos Aires. The skyscraper is the tallest building in Argentina. A mixed-use development, the 54-story, 70,000 m2 (753,000 sq ft) building includes 175 condominiums totalling 34,000 m2 (366,000 sq ft), as well as a five star hotel. The building's residential floor plans are notable for their variety - ranging from 100 m (330 ft) to 500 m (1,600 ft) - as well as their 3.3 m (11 ft) ceilings.Its development took place on a 7,000 m2 (75,300 sq ft) lot sold by Grupo Chateau (the local builders of the neighboring Château Puerto Madero Residence) for US$35 million to Madrid-based developer Rayet for the construction of the Hotel Único Buenos Aires. Originally scheduled to open at the end of 2010, the Único Hotel project was canceled. Rayet sold the lot to Anglo-Argentine developer, David Sutton, the proprietor of the Alvear Palace Hotel, on 5 March 2010. The Alvear Tower is budgeted at US$130 million; construction started in March 2012 and was completed in 2017.

Torres Mulieris are two skyscraper each with 44 floors, located in the Puerto Madero neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Developed by Creaurban, a unit of the Macri Group, the two residential buildings were completed in 2009, and became the fifth-tallest buildings in Argentina.

The El Faro Towers (Spanish: Torres El Faro "Lighthouse Towers"), also known as El Faro I/II, when referring to the complex individually, or El Faro Complex, when referring to the pair as a whole, are a highrise residential complex of two, twin interconnected skyscrapers located in the neighborhood of Puerto Madero, in Buenos Aires, the capital and largest city of Argentina. The El Faro Towers are made of glass, most specially used for the skyscraper's windows, and reinforced concrete. Although the two towers did not commence their construction at the same time, the first and second skyscrapers' construction ceased in 2003 and 2005, respectively. The twin skyscrapers were the tallest structures in Buenos Aires, and Argentina from 2003 to 2009. The towers have a height of 160 m (520 ft).

Torre Château de Puerto Madero is a high-rise residential complex located in the neighborhood of Puerto Madero in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The development began with the 2006 purchase of two, 7,000 m2 (74,000 ft²) lots in the Puerto Madero section by the Château Group, and was originally intended to include two, 48-story residential towers. The group sold the northern lot to the Madrid-based Rayet Group in 2007, however, and instead built the planned second high-rise on Avenida del Libertador (in the Núñez district).Work on the neo-Second Empire architecture building began promptly, and by early 2009, 75% of its 190 units had been sold; among the premier real estate developments in the city, the sale price ranged from US$330 to US$470 per square foot.

Puente de la Mujer (Spanish for "Woman's Bridge"), is a rotating footbridge for Dock 3 of the Puerto Madero commercial district of Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is of the cantilever spar cable-stayed bridge type and is also a swing bridge, but somewhat unusual in its asymmetrical arrangement. It has a single mast with cables suspending a portion of the bridge which rotates 90 degrees in order to allow water traffic to pass. When it swings to allow watercraft passage, the far end comes to a resting point on a stabilizing pylon.

ARA Presidente Sarmiento is a museum ship in Argentina, originally built as a training ship for the Argentine Navy and named after Domingo Faustino Sarmiento, the seventh President of Argentina. She is considered to be the last intact cruising training ship from the 1890s.

YPF Tower is a corporate high-rise building designed by internationally recognized architect César Pelli and is the headquarters of Argentine national oil company YPF. Construction began in 2005, in the Puerto Madero barrio (district) of Buenos Aires, Argentina and the office building was completed in September 2008. The building is 160 metres (520 ft) tall and has 44 floors. It was, upon completion in 2008, the tallest office building in Argentina, and the third tallest overall. The building is located on the corner of Macacha Güemes and Juana Manso streets, in the Puerto Madero ward.The building's construction cost an estimated US$134 million. The main contractor in its construction was CRIBA, a leading local contractor founded in 1952 by Alberto Tarasido.On May 25, 2012, 21 days after the nationalization of YPF by the government of Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner, the YPF tower was lit in the colors of the Argentinean flag as a political statement to commemorate 202 years of self-governance.As of 2021, following years of hardship, YPF was seeking US$400 million for its sale.

On 7 September, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) elected Tokyo as the host city of the 2020 Summer Olympic Games. Wrestling was restored to the Olympic sports program for 2020 and 2024. Thomas Bach was elected to an eight-year term as IOC President on 10 September.
