Vorstenbosch

Uden-Veghel is a polycentric metropolitan area, centred on the towns of Uden and Veghel, in the east of the province of North Brabant in the southern Netherlands. It consists of the neighbouring municipalities of Maashorst (merger of Uden and Landerd in 2022) and Meierijstad (merger of Schijndel, Sint-Oedenrode, and Veghel in 2017) with the surrounding municipalities of Bernheze and Boekel.The province of North Brabant established the partnership in 2002 for spatial planning purposes, and stated that the municipalities of Uden and Veghel are complementary to each other. The agreement included zoning plans for the development of residential, business and industrial areas, as well as plans for the development and preservation of nature in the region. The provincie of North Brabant defines the chain of Schijndel-Eerde-Veghel and Uden-Volkel as highly urbanized. The municipalities of Sint-Oedenrode and Landerd are described as being moderately urbanized, and Erp, Boekel and Bernheze are considered to be rural. (source: CBS, Gemeente op Maat)

Veghel (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈvɛɣəl] (listen)) is a town and a former municipality in the southern Netherlands. On 1 January 2017 Veghel, together with Schijndel and Sint-Oedenrode, merged into a new municipality called Meierijstad creating the largest municipality of the province North-Brabant in terms of land area.

Dinther is a village in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the municipality of Bernheze.Dinther was a separate municipality and town until 1969, when it merged with Heeswijk to form the new municipality of Heeswijk-Dinther. Since the municipal merger, the two towns started to share a marketplace and center. Today the towns form the greater town of Heeswijk-Dinther.

The Uden War Cemetery is a Commonwealth War Graves Commission cemetery in Uden, the Netherlands. It was established in 1960 and is home to 703 graves from the Second World War.

Eerde is a village in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is part of the municipality of Meierijstad, located about 500 m west of the built-up area of Veghel and 3 km southwest of the town centre of Veghel. During Operation Market Garden, in September 1944, it changed hands several times between German and American forces but ended up in American hands; the village was severely damaged in the process.The village was first mentioned in 1309 as Eirde, and means earth. Eerde was home to 174 people in 1840. It used to be part of three municipalities. In 1966, the whole are became part of Veghel and since 2016, it is part of Meierijstad.

Keldonk is a village in the south of the Netherlands. It is situated in the municipality of Meierijstad, North Brabant. Keldonk was home to 246 people in 1840. In 1912, the St. Anthony of Padua Church was built. Until the municipal reorganization of 1994, Keldonk was located in the municipality of Erp. In 2017, it became part of Meierijstad.

Heeswijk-Dinther (population: 7,985) is a town and former municipality in the southern Netherlands, in the province of North Brabant being named after the former municipalities Heeswijk and Dinther. The municipality was created in 1969, and became a part of Bernheze in 1994. Likewise, the town itself consisted of the former villages of Heeswijk and Dinther, which have grown together. After the merger into Bernheze, the town has been split up into Heeswijk and Dinther again. In 2008 the town was registered with the government as a single town. Only in 2017, the town is officially called Heeswijk-Dinther. The municipality of Dinther included the town of Loosbroek.
