Wolpi-dong (Korean: 월피동; Hanja: 月陂洞) is a neighbourhood of Sangnok-gu, Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.

Korea Digital Media High School is a private co-educational high school located in Ansan, Gyeonggi-do. It is one of the South Korean schools specializing in computer science. Because of the length of its name, it is usually called by the nickname "Dimigo" shortened from Digital Media High School (Korean pronunciation: Hanguk Digiteol Mideo Godeunghakgyo). The school advertises its ratings from officially certified examinations or international Olympiads. It has the highest academic achievement among South Korean high schools. The school maintaining top 2~4% average score among Korea high schools on CSAT, it was 4.1% at 2015. Several members of the national team at the International Olympiad in Informatics graduated from Dimigo.

Seoul Institute of the Arts is a prominent educational institution specializing in the Arts located in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. The school has nurtured many graduates who are actively working in art related fields within Korea as well as internationally. The Namsan campus in the heart of Seoul is used for presentation of arts productions and convergence with industry. The Ansan Campus opened in 2001 and is used for educational training, which aims to tear down barriers between disciplines, genres, and majors. Anyang Foreign Language High School (Korean: 안양외국어고등학교; Hanja: 安養外國語高等學校) is a private high school in South Korea. The school is located in Anyang Country of the Gyeonggi Province. The school is classified as a foreign language high school. It is designed for the study of English, Chinese, and Japanese. The school is divided into three departments: The Department of English, the Department of Chinese, and the Department of Japanese. The overall purpose of the department is to create global leaders through an exchange of culture and subsequently naturally understanding the languages.

Gwangmyeong station (Korean: 광명역) is a train station in Gwangmyeong, South Korea. The station was newly built as a stop of national railway operator Korail's KTX high-speed service, 22.0 km (13.7 mi) south of Seoul Station.The area surrounding the station is home to the world's second largest IKEA store at 59,000 square meters (640,000 square feet), along with a large Costco store and a Lotte Premium Outlet.

Danwon High School (Korean: 단원고등학교, Hanja: 檀園高等學校) is a coeducational high school located in Danwon District, Ansan, South Korea. It is a state school, being under the authority of Gyeonggi Province's Office of Education.The school was founded in 2005. In cooperation with The Borderless Village, a non-governmental organization, it established a multiculturalism program in 2006 and 2007. Its motto is "self-realization." As of May 2013, there were 1542 pupils at the school.

Ansan (Hangeul: 안산, Korean pronunciation: [an.san]) is a city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. It lies southwest of Seoul and is part of the Seoul National Capital Area. It is connected to Seoul by rail via Seoul Subway Line 4. It is situated on the Yellow Sea coast and some islands lie within its jurisdiction. The largest and best-known of these is Daebu Island. Several higher learning institutions are located in Ansan. They include Ansan University, Shin Ansan University, Seoul Institute of the Arts, and the ERICA campus of Hanyang University. The Korea Transportation Safety Authority, a government agency, has also been headquartered in Ansan since June 3, 2002. With its high number of foreign workers, Wongokbon-dong has been designated as a multicultural area. In 2021, Ansan was selected as the largest residential area for foreigners and it is seeking designation as a special multicultural city. Street play festival is held every year in Ansan.

Gojan Station is a commuter train station on Seoul Subway Line 4 and the Suin–Bundang Line in Ansan, Korea. It is the closest station to Ansan Wa~ Stadium. Its station subname is Korea Univ. Ansan Hospital, as it is located nearby the station. The word "Gojan" originated as "inside of cape".

Ansan Wa~ Stadium (Korean: 안산 와~ 스타디움) is a multi-purpose stadium in Ansan, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. It's currently served as home stadium for Ansan Greeners FC. The stadium was opened in 2007 and has a capacity of 35,000 people. It is used mostly for football matches and athletics. It is located next to Gojan Station on Seoul Subway Line 4.While under construction it was known as "Ansan Stadium". After the public subscription during the construction, the formal name "Ansan Wa~ Stadium" was selected. "Wa" means harmonious cheering and the wave notation (~) represents the extension of that sound. 2013 HSBC Asian Five Nations rugby union game was held in the stadium.
