Korea Digital Media High School is a private co-educational high school located in Ansan, Gyeonggi-do. It is one of the South Korean schools specializing in computer science. Because of the length of its name, it is usually called by the nickname "Dimigo" shortened from Digital Media High School (Korean pronunciation: Hanguk Digiteol Mideo Godeunghakgyo). The school advertises its ratings from officially certified examinations or international Olympiads. It has the highest academic achievement among South Korean high schools. The school maintaining top 2~4% average score among Korea high schools on CSAT, it was 4.1% at 2015. Several members of the national team at the International Olympiad in Informatics graduated from Dimigo.

Danwon High School (Korean: 단원고등학교, Hanja: 檀園高等學校) is a coeducational high school located in Danwon District, Ansan, South Korea. It is a state school, being under the authority of Gyeonggi Province's Office of Education.The school was founded in 2005. In cooperation with The Borderless Village, a non-governmental organization, it established a multiculturalism program in 2006 and 2007. Its motto is "self-realization." As of May 2013, there were 1542 pupils at the school.

Seoul Institute of the Arts is a prominent educational institution specializing in the Arts located in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. The school has nurtured many graduates who are actively working in art related fields within Korea as well as internationally. The Namsan campus in the heart of Seoul is used for presentation of arts productions and convergence with industry. The Ansan Campus opened in 2001 and is used for educational training, which aims to tear down barriers between disciplines, genres, and majors. The Institute continues to be a forerunner in globalization of Korean arts and creation of new forms of arts.

Seonbu station is a station on the Seohae Line in South Korea. It opened on June 16, 2018. Its station subname is Hando Hospital, from the nearby Hando Hospital.

Ansan Wa~ Stadium (Korean: 안산 와~ 스타디움) is a multi-purpose stadium in Ansan, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. It's currently served as home stadium for Ansan Greeners FC. The stadium was opened in 2007 and has a capacity of 35,000 people. It is used mostly for football matches and athletics. It is located next to Gojan Station on Seoul Subway Line 4.While under construction it was known as "Ansan Stadium". After the public subscription during the construction, the formal name "Ansan Wa~ Stadium" was selected. "Wa" means harmonious cheering and the wave notation (~) represents the extension of that sound. 2013 HSBC Asian Five Nations rugby union game was held in the stadium.

Gojan Station is a commuter train station on Seoul Subway Line 4 and the Suin–Bundang Line in Ansan, Korea. It is the closest station to Ansan Wa~ Stadium. Its station subname is Korea Univ. Ansan Hospital, as it is located nearby the station. The word "Gojan" originated as "inside of cape".

Dalmi station (Korean: 달미역) is a station on the Seohae Line in South Korea. It opened on June 16, 2018.

Ansan (Hangeul: 안산, Korean pronunciation: [an.san]) is a city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. It lies southwest of Seoul and is part of the Seoul National Capital Area. It is connected to Seoul by rail via Seoul Subway Line 4. It is situated on the Yellow Sea coast and some islands lie within its jurisdiction. The largest and best-known of these is Daebu Island. Several higher learning institutions are located in Ansan. They include Ansan University, Shin Ansan University, Seoul Institute of the Arts, and the ERICA campus of Hanyang University. The Korea Transportation Safety Authority, a government agency, has also been headquartered in Ansan since June 3, 2002. With its high number of foreign workers, Wongokbon-dong has been designated as a multicultural area. In 2021, Ansan was selected as the largest residential area for foreigners and it is seeking designation as a special multicultural city. Street play festival is held every year in Ansan.

Danwon-gu (Korean: 단원구) is a district of the city of Ansan in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. The name "Danwon" came from the nickname of Kim Hong Do, a famous Korean artist of the 18th century. The previous name of Kim Hong Do's hometown was "Ansan"; the residents wanted to rename the district so that it related to their great artist Kim Hong-do.

Wolpi-dong (Korean: 월피동; Hanja: 月陂洞) is a neighbourhood of Sangnok-gu, Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.

Jungang Station is a railway station on Seoul Subway Line 4 and the Suin–Bundang Line in Ansan, South Korea. Its substation name is Seoul Institute of the Arts. It is a busy station located close to the Ansan Express Bus Terminal.The Sinansan Line will connect Jungang Station to Yeouido Station in 2023.

Choji Station (Korean: 초지역) is a commuter railway station on Seoul Subway Line 4, the Suin–Bundang Line and the Seohae Line in Ansan, South Korea. Trains on Line 4 utilize what is officially named the Ansan Line within the city of Ansan, as do those on the Suin-Bundang Line, which stop at the station on the same tracks using the same platforms.The station opened as Gongdan Station. In 2012, the city government of Ansan announced that this station would be officially renamed to Choji Station at the end of June that year.
