Gwangmyeong Station

The Chunghyeon Museum is a museum in Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea.

Gwanak Station is a station on the Seoul Subway Line 1 and the Gyeongbu Line. It takes its name from a famous mountain to the northeast. Note that this station is not in Gwanak-gu, north of here. A light rail line linking this station to Gwangmyeong (KTX) and Cheolsan (Line 7) is in the planning stages. Upon completion of the proposed LR line, Gwanak Station will potentially become an important transfer point for KTX passengers in the city of Anyang.

Seoksu Station is a station on Seoul Subway Line 1. It is situated on the border of Seoul and Anyang, the station building itself lying in Anyang, hence the address and indeed its name, which is derived from the area of Anyang in which it is located, and the platforms being in Seoul.

Gwangmyeong Cave (Korean: 광명동굴) is a man-made cave in Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. It is located on the far southwestern outskirts of Seoul. Since 2011, it has been open to the public as a tourist attraction, with amenities like a theme park, aquarium, and winery available inside. It is 7.8 km long.

Anyang Foreign Language High School (Korean: 안양외국어고등학교; Hanja: 安養外國語高等學校) is a private high school in South Korea. The school is located in Anyang Country of the Gyeonggi Province. The school is classified as a foreign language high school. It is designed for the study of English, Chinese, and Japanese. The school is divided into three departments: The Department of English, the Department of Chinese, and the Department of Japanese. The overall purpose of the department is to create global leaders through an exchange of culture and subsequently naturally understanding the languages.

Bakdal-dong (박달동, 博達洞) is neighborhood of Manan district in the city of Anyang, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. It is officially divided into Bakdal-1-dong and Bakdal-2-dong.

Geumcheon District (Geumcheon-gu) is one of the 25 gu (districts) of Seoul, South Korea. It was created from southern parts of Guro-gu and tiny sections from Gwangmyeong in 1995. Its district office is located in front of Siheung Station, now Geumcheon-gu Office Station, in Siheung-dong. Geumcheon-gu is located in the southwest corner of the city, south of the Han River. It is bordered on the west by the Anyang River, and partially on the east by Gwanak Mountain, a dominating part of Seoul's southern skyline. Many technology companies are housed in Geumcheon-gu and several large headquarters are located here, albeit the income level of Seoulites here is lower than average. The Gyeongbu railway from Seoul Station to Busan station passes through, as well as Seoul Subway Lines 1 and 7. The mayor of this district has been Cha Sung-su (차성수) since July 2010.

Anyang Station is a ground-level metro station on line 1 of the Seoul Subway in Anyang 1-dong, Manan-gu, Anyang, South Korea. The station's sole exit offers access to Enter-6 Mall, which occupies the same building. Travel time from Anyang Station to Seoul Station on Line 1 is approximately 40 minutes. Anyang Station is the main station in Anyang, but there are another six stations in Anyang, namely Beomgye, Pyeongchon and Indeogwon on Line 4, and Myeonghak, Gwanak and Seoksu on Line 1, though the latter's platforms lie within Seoul. It is connected with Lotte Dapartment Store.

Geumcheon-gu Office Station, formerly known as Siheung Station, is a station on the Line 1 of the Seoul Subway, as well as the Gyeongbu Line. Commuter rail trains on Line 1 travel southwards from here to Anyang, Suwon, Pyeongtaek and Cheonan Stations via the Gyeongbu Line. In addition, a spur line (also a part of Line 1) between this station and Gwangmyeong Station on the KTX serves to link high-speed trains and commuter rail. The name of the station was changed from Siheung to its current name on December 29, 2008. The main reason for the change was because of the confusion with Siheung, a city located southwest of here.

Anyang University is a private university in Korea. Courses consist of undergraduate, graduate, doctoral and research programs. The main campus is located in Anyang City, south of Seoul in Gyeonggi province and the second campus is located on Ganghwa Island, Incheon. It has a student body of about 5,500. It has colleges of Humanities, Social Sciences, Science & Engineering, Theological Studies, Music, and Liberal Arts & Sciences, and offers graduate programs in General Studies, Theology, Education, and Business Administration & Public Administration.

Daelim College is a private technical college in South Korea. The college is located in the Dongan-gu district of Anyang City, Gyeonggi province, south of Seoul, and is just across the Anyang River from Anyang Station.

Samseongsan is a mountain in South Korea. It extends across the districts of Gwanak-gu and Geumcheon-gu in Seoul, the national capital, and the city of Anyang, in the province of Gyeonggi-do. It has an elevation of 481 m (1,578 ft).
