Roeser

Crauthem (Luxembourgish: Krautem, German: Krauthem) is a town in the commune of Roeser, in southern Luxembourg. As of 2005, the town has a population of 1,228.

Berchem (Luxembourgish: Bierchem) is a small town in the commune of Roeser, in southern Luxembourg. As of 2005, the town has a population of 892. It is notable for being the nearest settlement to one of the world's largest retail petrol stations.

Berchem railway station (Luxembourgish: Gare Bierchem, French: Gare de Berchem, German: Bahnhof Berchem) is a railway station serving Berchem, in the commune of Roeser, in southern Luxembourg. It is operated by Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois, the state-owned railway company. The station is situated on Line 60, which connects Luxembourg City to the Red Lands of the south of the country.

Bivange (Luxembourgish: Béiweng, German: Bivingen) is a small town in the commune of Roeser, in southern Luxembourg. The town is known for as the birthplace of Luxembourg American photographer Edward Steichen. As of 2005, the town has a population of 594.

Peppange (Luxembourgish: Peppeng, German: Peppingen) is a small town in the commune of Roeser, in southern Luxembourg. As of 2005, the town has a population of 570. It has a Benedictine convent which is still active (rue St. Benoit), as well as a parish church.

Livange (Luxembourgish: Léiweng, German: Livingen) is a small town in the commune of Roeser, in southern Luxembourg. As of 2005, the town has a population of 292.

Fentange (Luxembourgish: Fenteng, German: Fentingen) is a town in the commune of Hesperange, in southern Luxembourg. As of 2006, the town has a population of 1,626. Notable citizens are Bière Peck, Leangro Duschtert and Signore Miguel Lauer

Hesperange (French pronunciation: [ɛspəʁɑ̃ʒ]; Luxembourgish: Hesper [ˈhæspɐ] ; German: Hesperingen) is a commune and town in southern Luxembourg. It is located south-east of Luxembourg City. The total population of the commune is 14.701 people. This breaks down into 6.909 Luxembourgers, 2.021 French, 1.758 Portuguese, 1.052 Italians, 627 Belgians, 514 Germans, 241 Spanish, 207 British, 190 Polish, 106 Dutch, and 1.076 persons of other nationalities. (2014 official data) As of 2008, the town of Hesperange, which lies in the centre of the commune, has a population of 2.651. Other towns within the commune include Alzingen, Fentange, Howald, and Itzig. Each of these five towns has a population of over 1,000, making Hesperange unique amongst Luxembourgish communes in having five towns with over a thousand inhabitants (see: List of towns in Luxembourg by population). Hesperange Castle, now a ruin, has a history dating from the 13th century.Hesperange has a park called Hesper Park which has a memorial commemorating the death of three American soldiers who died in a tank accident on the nearby bridge over the Alzette river on 26 December 1944 during the Battle of the Bulge.

The Parc Merveilleux is an amusement park just east of Bettembourg in the south of Luxembourg. Designed above all for children, the park has a wide range of attractions including exotic birds, animals in their natural habitats, a pony ranch, a miniature railway, children's self-drive cars, adventure playgrounds, scenes from fairy tales, a restaurant and a cafeteria. The park is open every day from Easter to early October.

Alzingen (Luxembourgish: Alzeng) is a town in the commune of Hesperange, in southern Luxembourg. As of 2006, the town has a population of 1,622. The town's main thoroughfare is the Route de Thionville, which runs from Thionville, France, to Luxembourg City.

Hesperange Castle (Luxembourgish: Buerg Hesper; French: Château de Hesperange) is a ruin located high above the town of Hesperange in southern Luxembourg.
