Stadtbredimus

Stadtbredimus Castle (Luxembourgish: Schlass Stadbriedemes; French: Château de Stadtbredimus), located on the banks of the Moselle in the village of Stadtbredimus in south-eastern Luxembourg, has a history going back to the 13th century when a fortified castle stood on the site. In 1724, today's castle was built on the ruins of the old fort and, after some questionable restoration work, was bought by the la Fontaine family in 1802. It was here that Luxembourg's national poet, Edmond de la Fontaine, better known as Dicks, lived from 1858 to 1881.The castle is now the headquarters of the Domaines Vinsmoselle wine cooperative.

Palzem is a municipality in the Trier-Saarburg district, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany.

Greiveldange (Luxembourgish: Greiweldeng, German: Greiweldingen) is a small town in the commune of Stadtbredimus, in south-eastern Luxembourg. As of 2023, the town has a population of 951.

Remich (Luxembourgish: Réimech [ˈʀəɪməɕ] ) is a commune with town status in south-eastern Luxembourg with a population of 3,645 inhabitants as of 2018. It is the capital of the canton of Remich. Remich lies on the left bank of the river Moselle, which forms part of the border between Luxembourg and Germany. The commune is the smallest in Luxembourg by surface area. The Moselle valley is dominated by wine-making and many small wine-making towns, of which Remich is one of the most picturesque and frequented by tourists.

Schloss Thorn is a former castle, that has been turned into a stately home. It lies in the locality of Schloss Thorn, in the municipality of Palzem in the Landkreis Trier-Saarburg, Rhineland-Palatinate. The current owners are the Barons von Hobe-Gelting. Schloss Thorn is still in use as a residence today, and wine is produced from the surrounding vineyards, which have been family-owned since 1534, like the castle. It is the oldest castle vineyard on the Moselle; it also has the only preserved tree wine press of Europe.

Bech-Kleinmacher (Luxembourgish: Bech-Maacher, pronounced [ˌbæɕˈmaːχɐ]) is a small village in the commune of Schengen, in south-eastern Luxembourg. As of 2005, the village has a population of 536. The village lies along the Moselle River, which forms the border with Germany. The area has been settled at least since Roman times as evidenced by the reconstructed funeral chamber that sits on a hilltop overlooking the river. Wine production is a major industry in Bech-Kleinmacher and the village is surrounded by vineyards. The village is also home to Musée "A Possen" a folklore museum located in a 17th-century house that explores pre-industrial life, wine making, barrel making and toys. The celebrated Luxembourg artist Nico Klopp was born in Bech-Kleinmacher on 18 September 1894. Olympian Marcel Chennaux was born here.

Bous (Luxembourgish pronunciation: [ˈbu:s]) is a former commune and small town in south-eastern Luxembourg. It is part of the canton of Remich. As of 2005, the town of Bous, which lies in the east of the commune, has a population of 505. Until 31 August 2023, it was a commune. On 1 September 2023, the commune was merged with Waldbredimus to form the new commune of Bous-Waldbredimus.

Lenningen (Luxembourgish: Lenneng) is a commune and small town in southeastern Luxembourg. The commune has a population of about 1,900. It is located about 20 km east of the capital city, Luxembourg City. The commune's administrative centre is Canach. As of 2013, the town of Lenningen, which lies in the east of the commune, has a population of 385. The only other town within the commune is Canach.

Ehnen (Luxembourgish: Éinen) is a small town in the commune of Wormeldange, in south-eastern Luxembourg. As of 2005, the town has a population of 504. Ehnen is home to Luxembourg's Moselle Wine Museum which is open from the beginning of April to the end of October. The Wine Museum also houses Rent A Bike Miserland which encourages individuals and families to explore the river and vineyard/forest bicycle pathways. In town is also the only circular church built in the Grande Duchy of Luxembourg. The medieval town center has covered pedestrian walkways (Rue Clas von Ehnen), medieval style bridges, traces of a watermill and several operating wineries.

Erpeldange (Luxembourgish: Ierpeldeng, German: Erpeldingen) is a small town in the commune of Bous, in south-eastern Luxembourg. As of 2005, the town has a population of 323.

Wellenstein (Luxembourgish: Wellesteen) is a small town in southeastern Luxembourg. It is part of the canton of Remich, which is part of the district of Grevenmacher. It used to be a commune with its administrative centre at Bech-Kleinmacher, until it was merged into Schengen (along with Burmerange) in 2011.As of 2005, the town of Wellenstein, had a population of 453. On 25 October 2005, members of the pan-European organisation Cultural Village of Europe offered a declaration on village life to the European Commissioner of Agriculture and Rural Development Mariann Fischer Boel in Wellenstein. This "Declaration of Wellenstein" lists qualities of life in small communities.

Canach (Luxembourgish: Kanech) is a small town in the commune of Lenningen, in south-eastern Luxembourg. Canach lies in the far north of the canton of Remich and is located approximately 16 km from Luxembourg City. As of October 2015, the town has a population of 1,496. It is the administrative centre of Lenningen commune.
