The Holt School

Holt Copse & Joel Park is a 5.3-hectare (13-acre) Local Nature Reserve (LNR) in Wokingham in Berkshire. It is owned by Wokingham Town Council and managed by the council and Holt Copse Conservation Volunteers.

Emmbrook is a suburb of the town of Wokingham in the county of Berkshire, England.The suburb takes its name from the Emm Brook, a small river that is a tributary of the River Loddon.There are four schools in Emmbrook: Emmbrook Junior School, Emmbrook Infant School, St Cecilia's Primary school and The Emmbrook School (11-18yrs). The latter is one of four main secondary schools serving Wokingham, and one of two schools in Wokingham with a specialism in Maths and Computing. Other local amenities in Emmbrook include three pubs: The Dog and Duck, The Rifle Volunteer and The Emmbrook Inn (formerly The Thatched Cottage); shops, a village hall, two social centres, a small business park, a post office and an Indian restaurant. Joel Park lies to the south east, and Old Forest Meadows lies to the north west of Emmbrook.

Wokingham is a constituency of the Parliament of the United Kingdom, located in the English county of Berkshire. From its creation in 1950 until 2024, it was represented solely by Conservatives. Most notably, John Redwood, who held his position from 1984 until 2024, where he stepped down after the dissolution of parliament. Since 4 July 2024, Wokingham has been represented by Clive Jones, a Liberal Democrat.

Woosehill is a suburb of Wokingham in the English county of Berkshire.Woosehill – spelled incorrectly as Woose Hill on Ordnance Survey maps – is the north-western region of Wokingham, adjoining Emmbrook. The Emm Brook forms its eastern boundary and the Bearwood Road its western boundary, past the wooded area around Round Hill. Built primarily in the 1980s, it contains a wide range of family homes and bungalows. Amenities include a Morrisons supermarket, Chinese takeaway and doctor's surgery. There are also two primary schools, Hawthorns and Windmill, and two pre-schools, Chestnuts and Yellowbrick. There is a 24-hour veterinary clinic located next door to Morrisons in the building of the old surgery. The surgery has now moved to Fernlea Drive, adjacent to the Morrisons car park.In Chestnut Avenue, off Northway, there is the Woosehill Community Church.

Wescott Infant School is a coeducational infant school located in Wokingham, Berkshire, England. The school caters for children from ages four to seven (Reception to Year 2). Children join the school as "Rising Fives" and there is a three-term intake with a maximum of around 150 children on roll each year. Wescott holds the prestigious Artsmark Gold Award from the Arts Council, and in 2003 it was awarded a DFES School Achievement Award. The school has also been awarded Healthy Schools status.

Wokingham & Emmbrook F.C. are a football club based in Wokingham, Berkshire, England. The club was formed in 1875 as Wokingham Town and adopted their current name in 2004, following a merger with Emmbrook Sports. Their nickname is "The Satsumas", a reference to the team's colours. They currently play in the Combined Counties League Premier Division North.
