The Archéoforum is an archaeological museum on place Saint-Lambert in Liège in Belgium. It is centered on the ruins of Saint Lambert's Cathedral and also includes the remains of a Gallo-Roman villa as well as displaying objects from the Mesolithic onward.

The Opéra royal de Wallonie (French; "Royal Opera of Wallonia") is an opera house located on the Place de l'Opéra, in Liège, Belgium. Together with La Monnaie and the Vlaamse Opera, the Opéra royal, as it is colloquially known, is one of the three major opera houses in Belgium. From the beginning, the institution occupied the Théâtre royal in Liège, a building loaned by the city (inaugurated on 4 November 1820).

The Place Saint-Lambert is a major square in the centre of Liège, Belgium. Until 1794, it was the site of St. Lambert's Cathedral. Remains of the foundations of the cathedral have been conserved, and are on display at the Archéoforum, under the square.The largest public building on the square is the former Prince-Bishops' Palace, which now houses the Palace of Justice of Liège and the Provincial Palace, i.e. the government building of Liège Province. There is a large bus station in the lower part of the square, which serves as the local transport hub for the city. On 13 December 2011, a murder–suicide attack took place in the square, in which 6 people were killed and 125 were injured.

The Church of St. Denis (French: Collégiale Saint-Denis) is a parish church in Liège, Belgium. The fortified building was designed to be part of the city's defences. It was founded by Notker of Liège in 987 and first consecrated on 12 March 990. The tower was added around 1100.

St. Lambert's Cathedral, Liège (or in full, the Cathedral of Our Lady and St. Lambert; French: Cathédrale Notre-Dame-et-Saint-Lambert) was the cathedral of Liège, Belgium, until 1794, when its destruction began. This enormous Gothic cathedral, dedicated to Saint Lambert of Maastricht, occupied the site of the present Place Saint-Lambert in the centre of Liège.

On 6 December 1985, a bomb exploded in Palais de Justice, the main courthouse of the city of Liège in Belgium. The explosion took place shortly before hundreds of lawyers including Belgian Justice Minister Jean Gol would attend a swearing-in ceremony. The bomb severely damaged three floors and collapsed the ceiling of the 16th century palace. Philippe Balis, a 20-year-old law student, was killed in the blast.The attack took place just hours after Communist Combatant Cells terrorists bombed a NATO pipeline in Oudenaarde, a place in Flanders, and in France. However the courthouse and pipeline attacks were not linked.

The Palace of the Prince-Bishops (French: Palais des Princes-Evêques) is a historic building situated on the Place Saint-Lambert in the centre of Liège, Belgium. It was the residence of former Prince-Bishops of Liège and once faced the monumental Cathedral of St. Lambert. It now houses the Palace of Justice of Liège and the Provincial Palace, i.e. the government building of Liège Province.

Holy Cross Church (French - Collégiale Sainte-Croix) is a church in Liège, Belgium, located on place Verte in the corner of rue Sainte-Croix and rue Haute-Sauvenière. It was founded between 976 and 986 by bishop Notger and held the original St Hubert's Key, previously in the treasury of St Peter's Church. Previously a collegiate church, its chapter of secular canons was suppressed in 1797 following the Liège Revolution. The church itself was handed back for use as a worship space in 1802.

Liège Cathedral, otherwise St. Paul's Cathedral, Liège, is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Liège, Belgium. Founded in the 10th century, it was rebuilt from the 13th to the 15th century and restored in the mid-19th century. It became a Catholic cathedral in the 19th century due to the destruction of Saint Lambert's Cathedral in 1795. It is the seat of the Diocese of Liège.

The Hôtel de Ville is the town hall of Liège in Belgium, located on place du Marché. It was built in 1714. It is also known as La Violette.
