Sinyongsan station

Yongsan station is a major railway station in Seoul, South Korea. It is located in Yongsan District, and adjoins the Yongsan Electronics Market. The station is the terminus for high-speed and long-distance trains on a number of railway lines, including most trains on the Honam Line, its high-speed counterpart, and all trains on the Janghang and Jeolla Lines. Prior to 2004, all long-distance trains serving Seoul terminated at the nearby Seoul Station, but with the opening of the Korea Train Express (KTX), Yongsan Station took over some of Seoul's services. On February 28, 2012, ITX trains began service between this station and Chuncheon station on the Gyeongchun Line. Yongsan station is also served by metro rail on Line 1 and the Jungang Line on the Seoul Metropolitan Subway. In 2004, a major cinema opened adjacent to the station. In August 2006, the whole station building was made into a large department store, called I'Park Mall. The building now includes the railway station, subway station, the CGV cinema and several restaurants and shops, as well as housing the first building of the Yongsan Electronics Market. There is a bridge connecting I'Park Mall and the Yongsan Electronics Market. On floors B-1 and B-2 there is a very large E-Mart store along with a food court and a Burger King restaurant. In the higher floors some of the restaurants include: Uno Chicago Grill, KFC, Lotteria, California Pizza Kitchen, Pizza Hut, and many Korean and Japanese restaurants. Other outlets, such as Starbucks, Dunkin' Donuts, and Baskin Robbins, are also available. A duty-free store operated by HDC Shilla opened its doors in 2016, and the entire I'Park Mall underwent a major expansion in 2017. The station is scheduled to become a transfer station with the Shinbundang Line in 2025. Once the Shinbundang Station becomes operational, Yongsan Station will become connected with Sinyongsan Station on Line 4.

Yongsan Electronics Market is a retail area in Seoul, South Korea. Comprising over 20 buildings, housing 5,000 stores that sell appliances, stereos, computers and peripherals, office equipment, telephones, lighting equipment, electronic games and software, videos and CD's. A variety of electronic components for constructing computers and other items can also be found. Korean-made products generally cost 20% less here than other retail outlets, while imported items can be as much as 50% cheaper. The market has a variety of stores, each with different operating procedures. Some stores operate like traditional retail shops, with set prices, name brands, and warranties. Other shops accept, or even expect, customers to bargain and may not have any posted prices for items.

Dream Tower (Korean: 드림 타워) is a 665 m vision megatall skyscraper proposed for the new Yongsan International Business District, Seoul, South Korea. It would replace the original Triple One Tower. The Triple One Tower was supposed to be 620 meters. However, it has been renamed Dream tower (Korial Tower), and has been redesigned. With 150 stories, the building will be the centrepiece of the Yongsan Dreamhub, a 28-trillion-won ($22.6-billion) project to be built on the banks of the Han River near Yongsan Station. Demolition of the site started in 2010 and ground breaking was scheduled to start in 2011.

Ichon (National Museum of Korea) Station is a station in Yongsan-gu, Seoul on Seoul Subway Line 4 and Gyeongui–Jungang Line. This station is the closest to the National Museum of Korea, situated in the interior of Yongsan Family Park. It also serves eastern Ichon-dong, home to the largest Japanese community in South Korea with some 1,300 Japanese residents. The Line 4 station is located in Yongsan-dong 5-ga and the Jungang Line station is located in Ichon-dong. In 2018 it will become a transfer station with the Shinbundang Line.

Samgakji Station is a subway station on the Line 4 and Line 6 of the Seoul Metropolitan Subway. The Seoul War Memorial is a short walk away from exits 11 and 12. This station is on the west end of the Yongsan Garrison, which is a short walk from exit 13. Although not connected to this station by a transfer passageway, Namyeong station on Line 1 is a short walk from here. The Samgakji area was made famous in Korea because of a 1967 song by Bae Ho titled "Return to Samgakji." A statue dedicated to the song was erected in front of the station.Line 4 is a relative platform with two sides and two sides, while Line 6 is equipped with two island platforms with two front and two island platforms, both of which have screen doors installed on the platform. In the case of Line 4, it was possible to cross the other side through the transit passage, but it has recently been changed to cross. There are 14 exits.

Ichon-dong is a county part of Yongsan-gu (a district) located in Seoul, South Korea.

Yongsan District (Korean: 용산구, romanized: Yongsan-gu, [jo̞ŋsʰa̠n ku]) is one of the 25 districts of Seoul, South Korea. Yongsan has a population of 231,685 (2020) and has a geographic area of 21.87 km2 (8.44 sq mi), and is divided into 19 dong (administrative neighborhoods). Yongsan is located in central Seoul on the northern bank of the Han River, bordering the city districts of Jung to the north, Mapo to the west, Yeongdeungpo and Dongjak to the southwest, Seocho and Gangnam District to the southeast, and Seongdong to the east.

The Statue of Brothers (Korean: 형제의 상; RR: Hyeongje-ui sang) is a symbol of the Korean War at the War Memorial of Korea in Seoul. Its English text reads as follows : "The Statue of Brothers is an 18 meter wide and 11-meter high symbol of the Korean War. It consists of the upper part, lower part and inner part. The upper part of the statue depicts a scene where a family's older brother, an ROK officer, and his younger brother, a North Korean soldier, meet in a battlefield and express reconciliation, love, and forgiveness. The lower tomb-shaped dome was built with pieces of granite collected from nationwide locations symbolizing the sacrifices made by our patriots. The crack in the dome stands for the division of Korea and the hope for reunification. Objects inside the dome include a mosaic wall painting that expresses the spirit of the Korean people to overcome the national tragedy and a map plate of the 16 UN Allied Nations that dispatched troops to the war. The links of iron chain on the ceiling signify the unbreakable bonds of a unified Korea."The statue is located in the south-west corner of the exterior exhibit area.

Seoul American High School often abbreviated as SAHS was a secondary school in Yongsan Garrison, Seoul, South Korea operated by the Department of Defense Education Activity (DODEA). The school was part of the Pacific West District of the Department of Defense Education Activity (DODEA) until 2019 when the school closed.

Saenamteo is a location on the north bank of the Han River in Seoul, South Korea. During the Joseon Dynasty it was a sandy area outside the city walls. that was used punishment of political prisoners, including Roman Catholic believers, priests, and missionaries among the Korean Martyrs. A memorial church, consecrated in 1987, now stands on the site and houses a Martyrs' Memorial.
