Yongsan station

Sinyongsan station is a station on the Seoul Subway Line 4 in Hangang-daero, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Although not connected to this station by a transfer passageway, Yongsan station on Line 1 is a short walk away. The southwestern section of Yongsan Garrison can be accessed easily from this station.

Yongsan Electronics Market is a retail area in Seoul, South Korea. Comprising over 20 buildings, housing 5,000 stores that sell appliances, stereos, computers and peripherals, office equipment, telephones, lighting equipment, electronic games and software, videos and CD's. A variety of electronic components for constructing computers and other items can also be found. Korean-made products generally cost 20% less here than other retail outlets, while imported items can be as much as 50% cheaper. The market has a variety of stores, each with different operating procedures. Some stores operate like traditional retail shops, with set prices, name brands, and warranties. Other shops accept, or even expect, customers to bargain and may not have any posted prices for items.

Dream Tower (Korean: 드림 타워) is a 665 m vision megatall skyscraper proposed for the new Yongsan International Business District, Seoul, South Korea. It would replace the original Triple One Tower. The Triple One Tower was supposed to be 620 meters. However, it has been renamed Dream tower (Korial Tower), and has been redesigned. With 150 stories, the building will be the centrepiece of the Yongsan Dreamhub, a 28-trillion-won ($22.6-billion) project to be built on the banks of the Han River near Yongsan Station. Demolition of the site started in 2010 and ground breaking was scheduled to start in 2011.

Yongsan District (Korean: 용산구, romanized: Yongsan-gu, [jo̞ŋsʰa̠n ku]) is one of the 25 districts of Seoul, South Korea. Yongsan has a population of 231,685 (2020) and has a geographic area of 21.87 km2 (8.44 sq mi), and is divided into 19 dong (administrative neighborhoods). Yongsan is located in central Seoul on the northern bank of the Han River, bordering the city districts of Jung to the north, Mapo to the west, Yeongdeungpo and Dongjak to the southwest, Seocho and Gangnam District to the southeast, and Seongdong to the east.

Saenamteo is a location on the north bank of the Han River in Seoul, South Korea. During the Joseon Dynasty it was a sandy area outside the city walls. that was used punishment of political prisoners, including Roman Catholic believers, priests, and missionaries among the Korean Martyrs. A memorial church, consecrated in 1987, now stands on the site and houses a Martyrs' Memorial.

Hyochang Park Station is a subway station on Seoul Subway Line 6 and the Gyeongui–Jungang Line. It is named after Hyochang Park, which is most notable for housing the Hyochang Stadium, a small field capable of hosting sports events. The Yongsan District Office is also nearby.

Ichon-dong is a county part of Yongsan-gu (a district) located in Seoul, South Korea.

Samgakji Station is a subway station on the Line 4 and Line 6 of the Seoul Metropolitan Subway. The Seoul War Memorial is a short walk away from exits 11 and 12. This station is on the west end of the Yongsan Garrison, which is a short walk from exit 13. Although not connected to this station by a transfer passageway, Namyeong station on Line 1 is a short walk from here. The Samgakji area was made famous in Korea because of a 1967 song by Bae Ho titled "Return to Samgakji." A statue dedicated to the song was erected in front of the station.Line 4 is a relative platform with two sides and two sides, while Line 6 is equipped with two island platforms with two front and two island platforms, both of which have screen doors installed on the platform. In the case of Line 4, it was possible to cross the other side through the transit passage, but it has recently been changed to cross. There are 14 exits.

Ichon (National Museum of Korea) Station is a station in Yongsan-gu, Seoul on Seoul Subway Line 4 and Gyeongui–Jungang Line. This station is the closest to the National Museum of Korea, situated in the interior of Yongsan Family Park. It also serves eastern Ichon-dong, home to the largest Japanese community in South Korea with some 1,300 Japanese residents. The Line 4 station is located in Yongsan-dong 5-ga and the Jungang Line station is located in Ichon-dong. In 2018 it will become a transfer station with the Shinbundang Line.

Namyeong station is a ground-level metro station on Seoul Subway Line 1 in Galwol Dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, South Korea. Subways of Line 1 move on Gyeongbu Line from this station. The station's sole exit offers access to a range of schools and Yongsan Railway Office. Travel time from Namyeong Station to Incheon on Line 1 is 65 minutes. Though not connected by transfer, Namyeong station is only a two- to three-minute walk from Sookmyung Women's University station or Samgakji station on Line 4 & Line 6. The Statue of Brothers (Korean: 형제의 상; RR: Hyeongje-ui sang) is a symbol of the Korean War at the War Memorial of Korea in Seoul. Its English text reads as follows : "The Statue of Brothers is an 18 meter wide and 11-meter high symbol of the Korean War. It consists of the upper part, lower part and inner part. The upper part of the statue depicts a scene where a family's older brother, an ROK officer, and his younger brother, a North Korean soldier, meet in a battlefield and express reconciliation, love, and forgiveness. The lower tomb-shaped dome was built with pieces of granite collected from nationwide locations symbolizing the sacrifices made by our patriots. The crack in the dome stands for the division of Korea and the hope for reunification. Objects inside the dome include a mosaic wall painting that expresses the spirit of the Korean people to overcome the national tragedy and a map plate of the 16 UN Allied Nations that dispatched troops to the war. The links of iron chain on the ceiling signify the unbreakable bonds of a unified Korea."The statue is located in the south-west corner of the exterior exhibit area.
