Leichlingen

Leichlingen station is a through station in the town of Leichlingen in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It was opened on 25 August 1867 on the Gruiten–Köln-Deutz railway, which was completed between Gruiten and Opladen by the Bergisch-Märkische Railway Company on 25 September 1867. It has two platform tracks and it is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 5 station.The station is served by the Rhein-Wupper-Bahn (RB 48) between Wuppertal-Oberbarmen and Cologne twice an hour during the day, with one train an hour to/from Bonn-Mehlem.It is also served by two bus routes operated by Hüttebräucker: 253 (once a day) and 254 (at 60 minute intervals). It is served by bus route 255, operated by Wiedenhoff at 20-40 minute intervals and by bus route 694, operated by Stadtwerke Solingen at 30-60 minute intervals.

Weltersbach is a river of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It flows into the Wupper in Leichlingen.

The Erbslöh was an airship named for the German aviation pioneer Oskar Erbslöh that was operational in the years 1909/10. In July 1910 the Erbslöh crashed near Leverkusen, killing all five people on board, including Oskar Erbslöh himself.

Opladen, now a district of Leverkusen, used to be the capital of the Rhein-Wupper-Kreis (Rhine-Wupper-District) until 1975. Opladen station is located 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) northeast from Cologne on the railway to Wuppertal. It is also on the Autobahn A3. Population (1905) was 6338, (1975) 42,000. It has several Evangelical and Roman Catholic churches. It used to have dyeing works, manufactures of dynamite, indigo products, publishing companies and a railway plant. Before passing to Prussia, Opladen belonged to the duchy of Berg.

It is on the Gruiten–Köln-Deutz railway, which was opened on 25 September 1867 from Ohligs by the Bergisch-Märkische Railway Company (BME). It was extended to Mülheim BME station on 8 April 1868. The station was also opened on 25 August 1867. The original station building was demolished in 1965 and replaced by a building built in 1968. This building has been demolished in 2016. It is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 4 station.The station is served hourly by Regional-Express line RE 7 Rhein-Münsterland-Express between Krefeld and Münster via Cologne and Hamm. It is also served every 30 minutes between 5am to 8pm by Regionalbahn RB 48 Rhein-Wupper-Bahn, stopping at all stations between Wuppertal-Oberbarmen and Cologne, continuing every hour to Bonn-Mehlem.It is served by seven bus routes, operated by Kraftverkehr Wupper-Sieg: 201 (at 20 minute intervals), 202 (20), 203 (60), 222 (20), 223 (60), 231 (20) and 239 (20). It is also served by two routes operated by Wiedenhoff: 250 (60) and 255 (20) and by two routes operated by Hüttebräucker: 251 (5 trips) and 253 (at 30 minute intervals).

Haan (German pronunciation: [haːn] (listen)) is a town in the district of Mettmann, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is situated at the western edge of the Bergisches Land, 12 km southwest of Wuppertal and 17 km east of Düsseldorf. In 1975, Gruiten was incorporated into Haan.

It is on the Düsseldorf–Solingen railway, which was opened on was opened on 3 January 1894 by the Prussian state railways. The station was also opened in 1976 or 1977 and it is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 5 station.The station is served by line S 1 of the Rhine-Ruhr S-Bahn, running between Düsseldorf and Solingen every 20 minutes at Monday till Friday up to 8 o'clock pm, every 30 minutes during weekend and workingdays after 8 o'clock pm.It is also served by three bus routes, operated by Rheinbahn: 782 and 783 (both operated at 20-minute intervals to Hilden and Düsseldorf) and 792 (to Haan) operated at 20 to 60 minute intervals).

The Hendrich's Drop Forge part of the LVR Industriemuseum is a museum in Solingen (German pronunciation: [ˈzoːlɪŋən]), a city in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is located on the northern edge of the region called Bergisches Land, south of the Ruhr. The museum is an Anchor point on the European Route of Industrial Heritage.

Lochbach is a river of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The origin of the Lochbach are a couple of sources near Gräfrath, municipal district of Solingen. The Lochbach flows in Ohligs, another municipal district of Solingen, into the Itter. The Lochbach valley is famous for eleven traditional water powered groundwood mills which are typical for the Bergisches Land.
