Solingen Hauptbahnhof is the only railway station in Solingen, Germany, to be served by ICE and IC long distance trains. Solingen-Mitte station serves central Solingen, but only has Regionalbahn trains.

Solingen Vogelpark station is in the city of Solingen in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It is on the Düsseldorf–Solingen railway, which was opened on was opened on 3 January 1894 by the Prussian state railways. The station was also opened in 1976 or 1977 and it is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 5 station.The station is served by line S 1 of the Rhine-Ruhr S-Bahn, running between Düsseldorf and Solingen every 20 minutes at Monday till Friday up to 8 o'clock pm, every 30 minutes during weekend and workingdays after 8 o'clock pm.It is also served by three bus routes, operated by Rheinbahn: 782 and 783 (both operated at 20-minute intervals to Hilden and Düsseldorf) and 792 (to Haan) operated at 20 to 60 minute intervals).

Lochbach is a river of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The origin of the Lochbach are a couple of sources near Gräfrath, municipal district of Solingen. The Lochbach flows in Ohligs, another municipal district of Solingen, into the Itter. The Lochbach valley is famous for eleven traditional water powered groundwood mills which are typical for the Bergisches Land.

The Hendrich's Drop Forge part of the LVR Industriemuseum is a museum in Solingen (German pronunciation: [ˈzoːlɪŋən]), a city in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is located on the northern edge of the region called Bergisches Land, south of the Ruhr. The museum is an Anchor point on the European Route of Industrial Heritage.

Haan-Gruiten station (Gruiten until 9 December 2017) is one of the two stations of the Bergian city of Haan in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It is described in German as a Berührungsbahnhof (contact station), as the Düsseldorf–Elberfeld and the Gruiten–Köln-Deutz lines both pass through the station, but their operations are separate. East of the station, they join to form a common route at Linden junction, which is the actual beginning of the Gruiten–Köln-Deutz line. West of the platforms the lines separate to run to the west and the south.

Redfield Records is a German independent label founded in Haan-Gruiten near Düsseldorf in 2001 and now residing in Melle near Osnabrück. In February 2013 the label founded their subsidiary under the name Redfield Digital which distribute only digital music worldwide. The releases We Are the Mess by Eskimo Callboy and My Longest Way Home by Any Given Day marked the first two charting albums released by the label ever.

Leichlingen (officially Leichlingen (Rheinland)) is a town in the Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Leichlingen is a centre for apple and berry growing in the region.

Hochdahl-Millrath station is a through station in the district of Millrath of the town of Erkrath in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. The station was opened in 1968 or 1969 on the section of the Düsseldorf–Elberfeld railway from Erkrath to Wuppertal-Vohwinkel that was opened by the Düsseldorf-Elberfeld Railway Company on 10 April 1841. It has two platform tracks and it is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 5 station.The station is served by Rhine-Ruhr S-Bahn lines S 8 between Mönchengladbach and Wuppertal-Oberbarmen or Hagen every 20 minutes and several S 68 services between Wuppertal-Vohwinkel and Langenfeld in the peak hour.It is also served by two bus routes operated by Rheinbahn: O5 (every 20 minutes) and O6 (20-60).

Langenfeld is a town in North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany) in the district of Mettmann. The suburban city is located between Düsseldorf and Cologne. Langenfeld was formed from the two localities of Richrath and Reusrath and received city rights in 1948.
