Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, formerly Indraprastha University (IP or IPU), is a state university located in Dwarka, Delhi, India. The campus occupies 78 acres (31.56 hectares), among the largest in Delhi, and enrolls over 8,000 students.Indraprastha University was established on 28 March 1998 by the Govt. of NCT Delhi, named after Indraprastha, capital of the kingdom led by the Pandavas mentioned in Indian epic Mahabharata. In 2001, the university was officially renamed as Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) after the tenth Sikh Guru Gobind Singh. The university is organized around fourteen university schools and three university centers that focus on programs in law, medicine, technology, education, entrepreneurship, science and business.

University School of Law & Legal Studies is one of the constituent schools of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. Established in 2001, it is an institution dedicated to law and was the first state government law school in Delhi. It is constantly rated in the top 15 government law schools in India offering a 5 year course. It is also rated in the top 5 law schools in Delhi NCR. The acceptance rate of USLLS is incredibly low, given the less number of seats and large number of applicants. USLLS was also ranked 1 in the National Institutional Ranking Framework, Ministry of Education, Government of India (law category).

University School of Chemical Technology (USCT) is one of the constituent school of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.

University School of Management Studies (commonly known as USMS) is a graduate ON-CAMPUS business school of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in New Delhi, India. The school offers a full-time MBA program, doctoral programs, as well as many other management programmes. It is currently the only on campus Business School under Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The School is rated A+ in Best B-Schools Survey, 2006 conducted by Business India.

The Nangli metro station is located on the Grey Line of the Delhi Metro. The station was opened for public on 4 October 2019. As part of Phase III of Delhi Metro, Nangli is a metro station of the Grey Line.

Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), formerly Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT) is a state university located in Dwarka, Delhi, India. In 2018, the institute was granted University status, changing its name to Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT).
