Stony Creek is a town in the southwestern part of Warren County, New York, United States. It is northwest of the city of Glens Falls and is part of the Glens Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 767 at the 2010 census. The town is named for a creek that flows through it. Stony Creek is within the Adirondack Park.

Thurman is a town in the western part of Warren County, New York, United States. It is part of the Glens Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area. The town population was 1,199 at the 2000 census. The town is named after John Thurman, an early landowner. The town lies entirely inside the Adirondack Park.

Crane Mountain is a 3,251-foot-tall (991 m) mountain in the Adirondack Mountains of New York. It is located northwest of Warrensburg in Warren County. The mountain is the former site of a 35-foot-tall (11 m) steel fire lookout tower. The tower was installed in 1918, and later removed in 1987.

The Thurman Station Bridge is a two–lane bridge that carries NY 418 across the Hudson River connecting Thurman, New York with Warrensburg, New York. It was built in 1941.

Fourth Lake is located near Fourth Lake, New York. Fish species present in the lake are northern pike, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, bluegill, yellow perch, pumpkinseed sunfish, and brown bullhead. There is a state owned carry down located north of the hamlet of Fourth Lake on the west shore.

The Schroon River ( SKROON) is a 67.7-mile-long (109.0 km) tributary of the Hudson River in the southern Adirondack Mountains of New York, beginning at the confluence of Crowfoot Brook and New Pond Brook near Underwood, and terminating at the Hudson in Warrensburg. Its watershed is entirely within the Adirondack Park. The river runs through the towns of North Hudson, Schroon, Chester, Bolton, and Warrensburg. Interstate 87, the Adirondack Northway, follows the Schroon River valley from Warrensburg to Underwood. U.S. Route 9 takes a parallel course from Warrensburg to Schroon Lake, then follows the river through Underwood.

Stewart's Dam, in Hadley, New York, on the Sacandaga River, holds back the Stewart Bridge Reservoir, one of the largest reservoirs in America to be contained by an earthen dam. Farther upstream is the Conklingville Dam which creates the Great Sacandaga Lake.

The northern portion of the Hudson River valley in Upstate New York, generally that region extending from the first town below the headwaters of the Hudson River at North River to the last substantive waterfall preventing the passage of vessels at Fort Edward. Downstream from Fort Edward, northbound boat traffic exits the Hudson River onto the Champlain Canal. The largest population center in the Upper Hudson River Valley is that of Glens Falls. Other towns include North Creek, Hadley, Lake Luzerne, Corinth, and Hudson Falls. The region is characterized by a series of small glens and valleys surrounded by the Adirondack Mountains on all sides. At Corinth the river deepens and widens as it approaches the "big bend" where Interstate 87 crosses near Glens Falls.

Hadley ( , HAD-lee) is a town in Saratoga County, New York, United States. The population was 1,971 at the 2000 census. The town was named after Hadley, Massachusetts. The Town of Hadley is in the northern part of the county and is west of Glens Falls.

Hadley is the primary hamlet and a census-designated place (CDP) within the town of Hadley, Saratoga County, New York, United States. As of the 2010 census, the population was 1,009, out of 1,971 residents in the entire town of Hadley. Before that, the community was part of the Lake Luzerne-Hadley census-designated place. Hadley CDP is in northern Saratoga County, in the southeastern part of its town. It is bordered to the east by the Hudson River, across which is the town of Lake Luzerne in Warren County. The Sacandaga River forms the southern edge of Hadley, joining the Hudson at the community's southeastern corner. By road, Hadley is 5 miles (8 km) north of Corinth, 12 miles (19 km) west of Glens Falls, and 19 miles (31 km) north of Saratoga Springs.

Garnet Lake is located south of the hamlet of Garnet Lake, New York. Fish species present in the lake are pickerel, largemouth bass, yellow perch, and brown bullhead. There is carry down on a trail off Maxam Road on the east shore.

The Hadley Parabolic Bridge, often referred to locally as the Hadley Bow Bridge, carries Corinth Road (Saratoga County Route 1) across the Sacandaga River in Hadley, New York, United States. It is an iron bridge dating from the late 19th century. It is the only surviving iron semi-deck lenticular truss bridge in the state, and the only extant of three known to have been built.} In 1977 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Shortly afterwards it was closed to vehicular traffic, and at some time later to pedestrians as well. The county had considered demolishing it, but held off after heavy lobbying from local preservation groups. In 2006 it was reconstructed and restored with federal and state grants, and reopened without any load restrictions.
