Fourth Lake (Warren County, New York)

Woodward Hall, also known as the Stone House, Earl Woodard House, and "Woodhill," is a historic home located in the town of Lake Luzerne in Warren County, New York. It was built in 1931–1932, and is a two-story, rectangular building, five bays wide and two bays deep, with Tudor Revival and Colonial Revival style design elements in a somewhat eclectic design. It has fieldstone walls and a cross-gable slate roof and sits on a poured concrete foundation. It has a small, two-bay garage attached to the main block. It was built for Earl Woodward (1891-1956), who reinvented Adirondack tourism in the Lake George region through the introduction of dude ranch style resorts during the 1920s.: 5 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

Lake Luzerne is located in the town of Lake Luzerne, New York. Fish species present in the lake are northern pike, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, rainbow trout, brown trout, rock bass, bluegill, yellow perch, pumpkinseed sunfish, brown bullhead, and chain pickerel. There is a boat launch on the west shore off County Route 9. The lake contains multiple beaches available to the public including Wayside Beach. Ice fishing tournaments occur in the wintertime and vehicles can be driven on the ice. A small bridge is located just near the beach where people will jump off into the water. This is dangerous because the water is not very deep in this location. Ivy Island is the sole island in the lake. Access to the island is prohibited without permission from the town of Lake Luzerne. A trespassing fine of $250 has been imposed. According to local lore, the island is so named because of the presence of poison ivy.

Luzerne Music Center (often shortened to LMC) is a summer music camp and performing arts center, founded in 1980, located on Lake Luzerne, in the Adirondack Park region of New York. LMC is located approximately four hours north of New York City and one hour north of Albany. Pre-college students who play strings, piano, brass, woodwinds or percussion live in residence at the camp, study music with members of the Philadelphia Orchestra and perform concerts for eights weeks of the summer. Additionally, LMC hosts a summer chamber music festival with performances by faculty members and guest artists.

Lake Luzerne, formerly the Town of Fairfield and then Luzerne, is a town in southern Warren County, New York, United States. The town is located within the Adirondack Park. The town is part of the Glens Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area. Lake Luzerne is west of the city of Glens Falls. The town population was 3,079 at the 2020 census.

The portion in Warren County is part of the Glens Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area. The CDP consisted of the centers of population in the towns of Hadley (Saratoga County) and Lake Luzerne (Warren County). The population was 2,240 at the 2000 census. For the 2010 census, the area was redelineated as two separate CDPs, Lake Luzerne (pop. 1,227) and Hadley (pop. 1,009). The CDPs are located at the confluence of the Sacandaga and Hudson rivers.

The community is bordered to the west by the Hudson River, across which is the town of Hadley in Saratoga County. The Luzerne Music Center is on the east side of the lake. New York State Route 9N passes through Lake Luzerne, leading northeast 11 miles (18 km) to Lake George and south 19 miles (31 km) to Saratoga Springs. Glens Falls is 12 miles (19 km) to the east by county roads.

Hadley ( , HAD-lee) is a town in Saratoga County, New York, United States. The population was 1,971 at the 2000 census. The town was named after Hadley, Massachusetts. The Town of Hadley is in the northern part of the county and is west of Glens Falls.

Hadley CDP is in northern Saratoga County, in the southeastern part of its town. It is bordered to the east by the Hudson River, across which is the town of Lake Luzerne in Warren County. The Sacandaga River forms the southern edge of Hadley, joining the Hudson at the community's southeastern corner. By road, Hadley is 5 miles (8 km) north of Corinth, 12 miles (19 km) west of Glens Falls, and 19 miles (31 km) north of Saratoga Springs.

The Sacandaga River is a 64-mile-long (103 km) river in the northern part of New York in the United States. Its name comes from the Native American Sa-chen-da'-ga, meaning "overflowed lands". The Sacandaga River is a tributary of the Hudson River, flowing into it at Hadley, at the border of Saratoga and Warren counties.

The Hadley Parabolic Bridge, often referred to locally as the Hadley Bow Bridge, carries Corinth Road (Saratoga County Route 1) across the Sacandaga River in Hadley, New York, United States. It is an iron bridge dating from the late 19th century. It is the only surviving iron semi-deck lenticular truss bridge in the state, and the only extant of three known to have been built.} In 1977 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Shortly afterwards it was closed to vehicular traffic, and at some time later to pedestrians as well. The county had considered demolishing it, but held off after heavy lobbying from local preservation groups. In 2006 it was reconstructed and restored with federal and state grants, and reopened without any load restrictions.
