Brook Street, Essex

South Weald is a mainly farmland and park settlement in the Borough of Brentwood in Essex, England. The civil parish of South Weald was absorbed by Brentwood Urban District in 1934. In 1931 the civil parish had a population of 6370.South Weald contains Weald Country Park, among its former mansion's residents was Octavius Coope brewer founding Ind Coope and who was for three different seats a national-level politician (MP) for one year each seat. North Weald is centred 6 miles (10 km) northwest.

Weald Country Park is a 700-year-old, 500 acre (2 km²) country park in South Weald in the borough of Brentwood in the English county of Essex. It is on the north-east fringe of Greater London. Weald manor, parts of which dated to the 16th century, was bought by Sir Anthony Browne in 1547 and he died at Weald Hall in 1567. In 1685, Erasmus Smith bought it from Sir William Scroggs. The current layout is largely the result of landscaping carried out in the naturalistic manner of Capability Brown for Hugh Smith, lord of the manor from 1732 to 1745. In 1752, the estate was sold to Thomas Tower of Iver in Buckinghamshire, a lawyer and MP for Wareham in Dorset. Christopher Tower succeeded as the owner in 1778 and immediately commissioned Robert Adam to design a new dining room. On his death in 1810, his son, Christopher Thomas Tower, succeeded until 1867; he enlarged the estate and enclosed some commons as "waste". The park is now managed by Essex County Council.

South Weald Camp was a hillfort based in South Weald, Brentwood, Essex, England. Roughly circular in plan, the fort covered 2.8 hectares (6.9 acres), with a suggested construction date in the late Iron Age, from the 1st century BC to the 1st century AD. The location is associated in this period with the Catuvellauni and the Trinovantes. The camp's defences consisted of a rampart and steep banked slope, with traces of an external ditch. Although for a long time after the Iron Age, the Camp didn't have much use, in the medieval period the fort was used as part of a deer-park and then later used as a WWII training ground. Nowadays, a road (Sandpit Lane) runs roughly north-south through the fort dividing it somewhat unequally with roughly a third to the west falling into Weald Country Park and two-thirds to the east occupied by South Weald Cricket Club.

Warley Place is a 10.1-hectare (25-acre) nature reserve south of Brentwood in Essex. It is managed by the Essex Wildlife Trust.In the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries this site was the garden of the leading horticulturalist, Ellen Willmott, who planted many plants from all over the world, some of which still survive. There is a line of mature sweet chestnuts, and flowers including daffodils, snowdrops and crocuses.There is access next to the Thatchers Arms pub at the junction of Warley Road and Dark Lane.

Warley Hospital was a psychiatric hospital located in Brentwood, Essex, England. The site has since been redeveloped as private residences.

Tylers Common, also known as Upminster Common, is common land in the London Borough of Havering. It is one of the largest areas of common land in Greater London, with 32.06 hectares (79.2 acres) of protected commons.

Brentwood railway station is on the Great Eastern Main Line in the East of England, serving the town of Brentwood, Essex. It is 18 miles 16 chains (29.3 km) down the line from London Liverpool Street and is situated between Harold Wood and Shenfield. Its three-letter station code is BRE. The station is currently managed by Transport for London and is on the Elizabeth line between Shenfield and London Paddington.

Warley is a suburb of Brentwood in Essex, situated to the south of the town. It was notable for being home to the British headquarters of Ford Motor Company prior to their office closure. It is also home to a development of houses situated around and near the former site of Warley Hospital (a psychiatric hospital), called Clements Park. The development includes a range of house styles modelled around local themes, such as the former water tower that supplied the local area. In 2015 the former site of all the buildings and their architectural features of Warley Hospital was sensitively restored creating high specification homes which secured the heritage asset which was once on the heritage at risk register, known as The Galleries. There was also another prominent psychiatric hospital in Warley for over 150 years, known as Mascalls Park Mental Hospital, although its operations were moved to Goodmayes Hospital in early 2011.There is a Borough of Brentwood council ward by the name Warley, which takes in Great Warley, Little Warley, Childerditch and the Woodman Road/Hartswood area of Brentwood. Traditionally it has been a Liberal Democrat-Conservative marginal, which in 2007 elected the youngest councillor in Britain, at eighteen years of age. It has in recent years elected three Liberal Democrat and one Conservative councillor.

Warley Barracks was a military installation at Warley near Brentwood in Essex.

Weald Brook is a water course in the parliamentary constituency of Hornchurch and Upminster. Weald Brook flows into the River Ingrebourne. Weald Brook is the boundary between Romford and South Weald, to the east, flows south into Hornchurch, continuing as the River Ingrebourne to the Thames.

Trinity Church (formerly Peniel Pentecostal Church) is a church in Pilgrims Hatch in England. The church was founded by Michael Reid, who served as pastor of the church until stepping down in 2008, following various controversies.
