Greenbank is a rural residential suburb in the City of Logan, Queensland, Australia. In the 2016 census, Greenbank had a population of 7,694 people.

The South East Queensland Regional Plan 2009-2031 (SEQRP 2009) is a statutory plan designed to guide regional growth and development in South East Queensland, Australia. It was established under the Integrated Planning Act 1997, which has now been replaced by The Sustainable Planning Act 2009. The population of South East Queensland (SEQ) is expected to grow from 2.8 million in 2006 to 4.4 million people by 2031. The plan aims to manage this growth and protect the region’s lifestyle and natural environment. It responds to regional issues such as: continued high population growth; traffic congestion; koala protection; housing affordability; climate change; employment generation; and infrastructure provision. The plan balances population growth with the need to protect the lifestyle South East Queensland residents value and enjoy. A draft of the plan was released by the regional planning Minister on 7 December 2008 and it was open for public consultation until 1 May 2009. The final approved plan was released on 28 July 2009. The plan and its State Planning Regulatory Provisions are administered by the Department of Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning. The South East Queensland Regional Plan is currently being reviewed. A draft update to the plan was released in October 2016.

The Greenbank Military Range is a 4,500ha live training facility for the Australian Defence Force located in Greenbank, Logan City, Queensland, Australia, approximately 41.3 kilometres (25.7 mi) south-west of Brisbane. The location is heritage listed and also serves as a flora and fauna reserve. It has been the location of several controversial brumby cullings. Oxley Creek flows through the site. In 1952, the site was established as the Greenbank Army Camp.

Springfield Lakes is a suburb in the City of Ipswich, Queensland, Australia. It is one of the suburbs created within Greater Springfield. In the 2021 census, Springfield Lakes had a population of 17,211 people.

Springfield Central is a suburb in the City of Ipswich, Queensland, Australia. In the 2016 census, Springfield Central had a population of 114 people. It is the designated business district of Greater Springfield.

Greater Springfield is a private development undertaken by the Springfield City Group and one of the fastest-growing developments in Australia; it is located in the south-west of the Brisbane metropolitan area in Queensland, Australia. It is the first privately built city in Australia and the country’s largest master planned community (tenth largest globally), encompassing 2,860 hectares (963 acres). In 2021, the population of Greater Springfield was estimated around 47,000, with a projection to grow to 105,000 residents by 2030. Community development is managed and coordinated by Springfield City Group. The plan is to have a group of suburbs with the population of Darwin by 2030. In 2019, Springfield City Group was inducted into the Queensland Business Leaders Hall of Fame in recognition of their visionary entrepreneurship in establishing Springfield, as a nation-building project and Australia's first privately-constructed city.

Springfield railway station is located on the Springfield line in Queensland, Australia. It serves the Ipswich suburbs of Springfield and Springfield Lakes via footbridge access. It is the second-last station on the Springfield Line in the outbound direction.

The Springfield Anglican College (TSAC) is an independent Anglican co-educational early learning, primary and secondary day school, located in Springfield, a suburb of the City of Ipswich in South East Queensland, Australia. The college comprises two campuses, the early learning centre and primary school from Kindergarten to Year 6, located on Springfield College Drive; and the secondary school from Year 7 to Year 12) on the Springfield - Greenbank Arterial. The college has outlined scheduled building developments across both campuses out to 2022. Upon completion it is expected the college will have capacity for 1,000 students.

Woodcrest State College is a coeducational public Prep–Year 12 school located in the City of Ipswich suburb of Springfield in Queensland, Australia. The school has a total enrolment of more than 1600 students each year, with an official count of 1745 students in 2021. Between 1998 to 2022, Pat Murphy was the Executive Principal of Woodcrest State College. Since 2022, Woodcrest State College's role of Executive Principal has been held by Jeff Jones. The school also consists of two Heads of School, one Business Services Manager, two Guidance Officers and 91 teaching staff.

Springfield Central Stadium (also known by naming rights sponsorship as Brighton Homes Arena and colloquially as The Reserve) is an Australian rules football venue located in the Ipswich, Queensland suburb of Springfield, approximately 30 km south-west of Brisbane. The facility has been the permanent training and administrative home of professional Australian Football League club the Brisbane Lions since 2022. The venue plays host to the club's AFL pre-season home matches as well as matches for the AFL Women's, Victorian Football League and the club's men's and women's Academy (junior) squad programs. The first game played at the venue was the AFL Women's season seven Grand Final which attracted a sell out crowd of 7,412.

Springfield Central Railway Station is the terminus station of the Springfield Line in Queensland, Australia. It serves Springfield Central (the central suburb of Greater Springfield) and other nearby suburbs in the City of Ipswich. Brisbane-bound services depart half-hourly during off-peak times, with most travelling to Kippa-Ring. The station was opened in December 2013 after the line was extended from Richlands.

Jordan is an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of Queensland. It was created in the 2017 redistribution. It was named after politician Vi Jordan, second female Member of the Queensland Legislative Assembly. Based on the area between Ipswich and Logan, Jordan consists of the suburbs of Gailes, Carole Park, Camira, Brookwater, Augustine Heights, Springfield, Greenbank, New Beith, Lyons and Undullah. From results of the 2015 election, Jordan was estimated to be a safe seat for the Labor Party with a margin of 13.5%.
