The River Penk is a small river flowing through Staffordshire, England. Its course is mainly within South Staffordshire, and it drains most of the northern part of that district, together with some adjoining areas of Cannock Chase, Stafford, Wolverhampton, and Shropshire. It flows into the River Sow, which is a tributary of the River Trent, so its waters flow ultimately into the North Sea via the Humber Estuary.

The Weston Road Academy (formerly Weston Road High School) is an academy school in Stafford, England. It provides secondary and further education for pupils aged 11–18 in the east side of the town, as well as the surrounding villages of Great Haywood, Little Haywood, Hopton, Weston and Hixon. It has links to other local high schools through a local education collaboration - the Stafford Sixth form - which provides education for 16 to 18 year olds. In 2012 it became an academy school. In recent years, the Academy has specialised in mathematics and computing. As of 2021, the school's most recent Ofsted inspection was a short inspection in 2018, which confirmed the previous 2013 judgement of Good.

Berkswich ( BAHK-switch) is a civil parish in the borough of Stafford in Staffordshire, England. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 1,528, being recalculated as 2,010 at the 2011 Census.Berkswich Civil Parish should not be confused with Berkswich Church of England Parish in the Lichfield Diocese as they cover differing geographical areas. Berkswich Civil Parish covers the villages of Walton-on-the-Hill and Milford. Berkswich Church of England Parish covers those villages along with Baswich, Weeping Cross and Wildwood. Berkswich can be found on the south-eastern fringe of Stafford. On 24 March 1976 the parish was renamed from "Baswich" to "Berkswich".

Walton High School is a large mixed secondary school and sixth form serving a community in the southern part of Stafford, England.There are approximately 1316 students on roll. The school catchment area is 4.5 miles (7.2 km) around the school. The school's sixth form provision used to form part of the Stafford Collegiate which included all Stafford secondary schools and Stafford College, but this is no longer the case.Previously a community school administered by Staffordshire County Council, in September 2016 Walton High School converted to academy status. The school is now the lead school in the Walton Multi-Academy Trust.

Walton-on-the-Hill is a village in the Borough of Stafford in Staffordshire, England. It is about 5 km east of the centre of Stafford, and lies on the A513 road. The population in the 2011 census was included under the Berkswich ward. The village amenities include several shops and Walton High School. East of Walton-on-the-Hill are Shugborough Hall (4 km) and Milford (1 km). There is a local leisure and equestrian hotspot. To the west there is a small shopping centre. Walton-on-the-Hill forms part of the civil parish of Berkswich. Walton-on-the-Hill also features St Thomas Church which was built in the 12th century, although it has undergone major changes during its life, mainly in the 18th century.

Bingley Hall (also known as New Bingley Hall to distinguish itself from the Bingley Hall in Birmingham) is an exhibition hall located in Stafford, England, on the site of the Staffordshire County Showground. During the 1970s and 1980s it was a very popular concert venue.

The Centre is located in the grounds of County Hospital, and opened in 1986.The centre includes conference rooms, lecture theatres, a library, and the remaining buildings that belonged to the demolished Coton Hill Asylum, consisting of a lodge building and a chapel.

The Stafford Hospital scandal concerns poor care and high mortality rates amongst patients at the Stafford Hospital, Stafford, England, during the first decade of the 21st century. The hospital was run by the Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust, and supervised by the West Midlands Strategic Health Authority. It has been renamed County Hospital. The scandal also resulted in the resignation of NHS Chief Sir David Nicholson in 2013.

County Hospital is an acute hospital with less than 200 inpatient beds, opened in 1983. It is the main hospital in Stafford, England. The hospital is managed by University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust. County Hospital's Accident and Emergency unit is the only such facility in Stafford. Wards at County Hospital are numbered, with the exception of specialist units. The hospital changed its name on 1 November 2014 from Stafford Hospital to County Hospital as part of the dissolution of the Mid Staffordshire NHS Trust.

Littleworth is a former village now forming part of the eastern end of the county town of Stafford in the English county of Staffordshire. Littleworth is a relatively diverse area of Stafford, ranging from terraced former council-owned estates on its western side to more up-market housing on the eastern side and bookended at each end by a nature reserve. Running through the centre of Littleworth is Weston Road, which forms part of the main route between Stafford and Uttoxeter, while Tixall Road leads to Tixall, the Haywoods and Rugeley. The town's major hospital, Stafford District General, lies within Littleworth, while the fire station and Staffordshire University lie just to the east of the boundary with Milford ward. The major source of employment in Littleworth is Perkins factory (formerly known as Dorman Diesels) which makes powerplants for marine and other applications, although many residents commute to Birmingham and Stoke-on-Trent. Littleworth contains a post office, three public houses (the Metropolitan Bar, the Prince of Wales and the Morris Man), one bowling green and one of the town's largest allotments.

Beaconside is an area in Stafford, Staffordshire, England. The district is home to the Stafford branch of Staffordshire University along with the Ministry of Defence site MoD Stafford (which is a former RAF base).
