The Grafton Hotel at 130 Tottenham Court Road, Fitzrovia, London, is part of the Edwardian Hotels, and in a partnership with Radisson Hotels, is branded as the Radisson Blu Edwardian Grafton. The hotel was built in the Edwardian era, and has 330 rooms. The building was designed by the architect William Howard Seth-Smith FRIBA and at opening it was furnished by Maple and Co.Shortly before opening the hotel was advertised as being run on "popular lines".During World War II, the hotel was used as the temporary headquarters for the Ministry of Food.From October 1939 to April 1940, Albert Meems, "one of very few German agents who successfully moved in and out of the UK during the Second World War without being detected", made four visits to London, and always stayed at the Grafton Hotel.

Scorpio Sound (aka Scorpio Studios and Scorpio Sound Studios) was a recording studio in London, England. It was located in Euston Tower, Euston Road, Camden, London, on the ground floor. The studio was in operation from 1972 to 1984. Producers and engineers who worked at the studios included Ray Hendriksen, Pete Hoskins, and Dennis Weinreich. Pete Hoskins was the studio manager from 1977. The studio was later used by Capital Radio, located in the same building on the floor above, for recording bands, live broadcasts, political discussion programmes, etc.The rock band Queen recorded parts of the album A Night At The Opera at the studio, including the lead vocals for the song "Bohemian Rhapsody".

Euston Square is a London Underground station at the corner of Euston Road and Gower Street, just north of University College London – its main entrance faces the tower of University College Hospital. The multi-interchange Euston station is beyond Euston Square Gardens, which is one street east. The station is between Great Portland Street and King's Cross St Pancras on the Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines in Travelcard Zone 1.

Chrome Zone was a chain of retail stores owned by Google. In its years of operation, only two branches were ever opened, one inside the PC World located on Tottenham Court Road in, London, England, opened in late September 2011, and another based in Essex, England which opened on October 7 of the same year. Chrome Zone sold Chromebooks that ran the ChromeOS and accessories. In a statement released by the Google UK Head of Consumer Marketing Arvind Desikan in 2011, it was revealed that the London and Essex stores were only the first installments of "mini-shops" to be spread out internationally in the coming years. However, no further Chrome Zone locations were opened besides the two in England, and all Chrome Zone stores were eventually shut down.

Maple & Co. was a British furniture and upholstery manufacturer established in 1841 which found particular success during the Victorian and Edwardian eras. The company became one of the prime makers and suppliers of furniture to the aristocracy and royalty in both the United Kingdom and around the world.For the duration of their trading, the company resided in Tottenham Court Road in London but had trading locations as far as Paris, Buenos Aires, Montevideo and Smyrna.

140 Gower Street was the headquarters of the Security Service (MI5) from 1976 to 1994. The site was acquired by the Wellcome Foundation in 1998.

Euston Tower is a skyscraper located on Euston Road in the London Borough of Camden. To its east is Hampstead Road.

The British Non-Ferrous Metals Research Association was a research group in the United Kingdom during the 20th century, bringing together public and privately funded research into metallurgy. The name was abbreviated officially to B.N.F.M.R.A. (the organisation was normally known as ‘The BNF’ during its life). It was formed in 1920 by members of the British Non-Ferrous Metals Federation which represented the commercial interests of British manufacturers of coppers and copper alloys, lead, zinc and other non-ferrous metals and their alloys, latterly including titanium. Robert Hutton was appointed director in 1921.
