Wheatland Ferry

Wheatland is an unincorporated community in Yamhill County, Oregon, United States. It is near the Willamette River where the Wheatland Ferry takes traffic across the river into Marion County. It is in the Pacific Time Zone.

Willamette Mission State Park is a state park in the U.S. state of Oregon, located about four miles (6 km) north of Keizer adjacent to the Wheatland Ferry and east of the Willamette River. It includes Willamette Station Site, Methodist Mission in Oregon, which is listed by the National Register of Historic Places.

Western Christian School is a private Christian school for grades K-12 located near Salem, Oregon, United States. The school was founded in 1945 and has been accredited by the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools since 1975. The school is located on a 45 acre campus just 9 miles north of West Salem and about 15 miles from McMinnville. The school was known as Western Mennonite School until 2018. Competing under the Oregon Schools Athletic Association (OSAA), the athletic teams consistently play in post-season games and move on to the State tournament. The boys' basketball team won the State 2A-3 Championship for the 2010–11 season, and the girls' basketball team won the State 2A Championship for the 2014–15 season.

Hopewell is an unincorporated community in Yamhill County, Oregon, United States. It is at the eastern terminus of Oregon Route 153, 10 miles (16 km) south of Dayton and a few miles west of Wheatland, at the east base of the Eola Hills. Hopewell post office was established in 1897, and closed out to Amity in 1903. Hopewell is now served by the Salem post office. The name Hopewell does not appear in the gazetteers of the 1880s.Hopewell was the home of George K. Gay, who voted in the May 1843 Champoeg Meeting that created the provisional government, and built the first brick residence in the state of Oregon near Hopewell in 1842. Gay's great-grandson, singer Johnnie Ray, spent his early years in Hopewell.

Clear Lake is an unincorporated community in Marion County, Oregon, United States, just north of Keizer. It is west and north of Oregon Route 219 and east of Wheatland Road N. It is likely named for Clear Lake which is approximately a half mile west of it, a disconnected meander of the Willamette River.

Waconda is an historic unincorporated community in Marion County, Oregon, United States, near the crossroads of River Road and Waconda Road. Waconda was once a station on the Oregon Electric Railway and formerly had a post office by the same name.

Powerland Heritage Park, formerly known as Antique Powerland, is a collection of museums and a self-described heritage site for power equipment, such as farm machinery, commercial trucks, trains, trolleys, construction equipment, logging equipment, and the engines which power them. It is located in Brooks, Oregon, United States (near Salem, Oregon), and is operated by the non-profit Antique Powerland Museum Association (APMA). It was initially established by a group of enthusiasts "dedicated to the preservation, restoration and demonstration of steam powered equipment, antique farm machinery and implements."The museum is located on a 62-acre (250,000 m2) parcel of land just off Interstate 5 in Brooks, and has been in operation (in various forms) since the 1970s. Originally, the site was primarily used for "threshing bees", a forerunner to the modern tractor pull, and the remainder of the site committed to farming. With the addition of a truck museum and a railroad museum, the entire grounds were dedicated to exhibits; the current structure of Antique Powerland has been in operation since 1996. Each summer, Powerland Heritage Park presents the Great Oregon Steam-Up, wherein many of the exhibits are fired up and displayed in an operational state. Despite the name, many different types of power equipment are displayed, including steam-powered equipment, diesel-powered equipment, gasoline-powered equipment, and electric-powered equipment. Antique Powerland was renamed Powerland Heritage Park in spring 2017.Powerland Heritage Park is typically open April thru September, Wednesday through Sunday, 9am to 4pm. There are many special events throughout the season, mainly on weekends.

The Oregon Electric Railway Museum is the largest streetcar/trolley museum in the Pacific Northwest of the United States. It is owned and operated by the Oregon Electric Railway Historical Society and is located in Brooks, Oregon, on the grounds of Powerland Heritage Park (formerly known as Antique Powerland).

The Eola-Amity Hills AVA is an American Viticultural Area located in Polk County and Yamhill County, Oregon. It is entirely contained within the Willamette Valley AVA, and stretches from the city of Amity in the north to Salem in the south. The Eola and Amity hills cover an area west of the Willamette River approximately 15 miles (24 km) long by 6 miles (10 km) wide. The Eola-Amity Hills area benefits from steady winds off the Pacific Ocean that reach the Willamette Valley through the Van Duzer Corridor, a gap in the Oregon Coast Range, moderating the summer temperatures. The Eola Hills were named after the community of Eola, whose name was derived from Aeolus, the Greek god of the winds.

The Eola Hills are a range of hills northwest of Salem, Oregon, United States. They stretch from the community of Eola about 10 miles (16 km) north to Yamhill County. They are divided from the Salem Hills by the Willamette River at Eola.

Keizer () is a city located in Marion County, Oregon, United States, along the 45th parallel. As of the 2020 United States Census, its population was 39,376, making it the 14th most populous city in Oregon. It lies in the Willamette Valley, and is part of the Salem Metropolitan Statistical Area. It was named after pioneer Thomas Dove (T. D.) Keizur and his family, who arrived in the Wagon Train of 1843, and later filed donation land claims.

McNary High School is a public high school located in Keizer, Oregon, United States. It is named for Charles L. McNary, a U.S. Senator who was from the Keizer area.
