Shark Island Light

Shark Island is an island located within Sydney Harbour, in New South Wales, Australia. The island is 1.5 hectares (3.7 acres) in area, measuring some 250 metres by 100 metres, and lies off the Sydney suburbs of Point Piper, Rose Bay and Vaucluse, in the eastern section of the harbour between the Harbour Bridge and the harbour entrance. The island was known by the local Aboriginal people as Boambilly, and the current name comes from its shape, which is claimed to resemble a shark. Shark Island Light is an active pile lighthouse located just north of Shark Island, an island in Sydney Harbour, New South Wales, Australia. Its light is only visible on in the fairway of the harbour, between Shark Point and Point Piper.

The Royal Prince Edward Yacht Club is a yacht club located on Wolsley Road, Point Piper, New South Wales, in Australia. The club was founded in 1922 and permission was obtained from Prince Edward to use his name. The waterside site on Lady Martin's Beach in Felix Bay was purchased in the same year on which a purpose-built clubhouse and bowling green were constructed. Its first race was held on Saturday 18 November 1922. In 1935 it was granted permission to use the prefix "Royal" although newspaper reports from its inception used this title.

Woollahra House refers to two mansions built on the same site in Point Piper, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The first house was built in 1856 by Sir Daniel Cooper and the second by his son, William Charles Cooper, in 1883. Both houses have been demolished, but two buildings still remain from the original structure. The gatekeeper's lodge from Sir Daniel Cooper's house, which was built in 1871, is now the Rose Bay Police Station, and the stables which are now Wyuna Court, a prestigious block of apartments. These buildings in the Municipality of Woollahra are of some historical interest.

Greycliffe House is an historic, two-storey residential dwelling situated in the Sydney suburb of Vaucluse, New South Wales, Australia. Completed in c. 1852 in the Victorian Rustic Gothic style, Greycliffe is listed on the (now defunct) Australian Register of the National Estate and on the Municipality of Woollahra local government heritage list.

Nielsen Park is a heritage-listed historic site, park and nature reserve located at Greycliffe Avenue, Vaucluse in the Municipality of Woollahra local government area of New South Wales, Australia. The traditional lands of the Birrabirragal indigenous people, the park was designed by John Frederick Hilly, James Barnet and the Office of the New South Wales Government Architect. It is also known as Vaucluse Estate, Greycliffe Estate and Greycliffe House. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 28 August 2017.Nielsen Park is a part of Sydney Harbour National Park. It is a popular recreation area and beach, known as Shark Beach, on Port Jackson. The kiosk is dated from 1914.

Strickland House is a heritage-listed former residence and convalescent home and now functions, film studio, urban park and visitor attraction located at 52 Vaucluse Road, Vaucluse in the Municipality of Woollahra local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by John Frederick Hilly and built from 1830 to 1858 by William Wentworth. It is also known as Carrara; Strickland Convalescent Home for Women; Strickland House Hospital for the Aged. The property is owned by the Government of New South Wales. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999 and on 21 March 1978 was listed on the (now defunct) Register of the National Estate.

The Royal Motor Yacht Club of New South Wales is a club for motorboat owners located at 21 Wunulla Road, Point Piper. The club was founded in 1905 as the Motor Boat Club of New South Wales. At its foundation it had 92 members, all boat owners. Philip Mitchell was elected commodore, Dr George Reid vice-commodore and Frank Albert (of Albert Music) rear-commodore. George W. Whatmore, who had initiated the club's formation by writing to The Sydney Morning Herald, became the first secretary, with Fred Wiesener as treasurer.Members initially met at rooms at Circular Quay. In 1910 the current site was purchased and a clubhouse built. Officially opened by Lord Chelmsford, Governor of New South Wales, it was renamed Motor Yacht Club of New South Wales.In 1927 it was granted permission to use the prefix "Royal".

The Bradleys Head Light is an active heritage-listed lighthouse at Bradleys Head, a headland protruding from the north shore of Sydney Harbour, within Mosman, Mosman Council, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It is the sibling of Robertson Point Light. The site is owned and managed as part of the Sydney Harbour National Park by the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service, an agency of the Government of New South Wales; while the light is managed and operated by Sydney Ports Corporation. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 18 April 2000.

Bradleys Head is a headland protruding from the north shore of Sydney Harbour, within the metropolitan area of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It is named after the First Fleet naval officer William Bradley. The original Aboriginal inhabitants, who belonged to the Borogegal clan of the Eora nation, knew Bradleys Head as Borogegy, Booraghee, Booragy or Burrogy. On the headland is an active lighthouse, Bradleys Head Light, constructed in 1905.Bradleys Head is now a unit of the Sydney Harbour National Park and managed by the National Parks and Wildlife Service.

The Bradleys Head Fortification Complex is a heritage-listed former mast and defensive battery and military fortification and now war memorial and recreational area located at Bradleys Head Road within the Sydney Harbour National Park in Mosman in the Mosman Council local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by Government engineers and built from 1840 to 1934. It is also known as Bradleys Head Forts and HMAS Sydney 1 Mast and Associated Memorials. The property is owned by the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage, an agency of the Government of New South Wales. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 30 August 2010.The small fort is located on the northern side of Sydney Harbour, just south of Taronga Park Zoo, and the fortification formed part of a total defence system for Sydney Harbour and recalls a period when the colony of New South Wales became increasingly aware of its isolation and wealth.

Wolseley Road is a road in the Sydney suburb of Point Piper. It is one kilometre long. It starts at New South Head Road and curves around the west side of Point Piper, terminating in a dead end above Lady Martins Beach.

The Hermitage is a historic house in the Sydney suburb of Vaucluse, New South Wales, Australia. It is listed on the (now defunct) Australian Register of the National Estate as well as the Municipality of Woollahra local government heritage list.
