The Mid-Kent line (also referred to as the Hayes line by train operators, official bodies and the general public) is a British railway line running from Courthill Loop North junction (just south of Lewisham station) to Hayes railway station in the London Borough of Bromley. Despite its name, none of the line is in the present-day county of Kent.

Harris Girls' Academy Bromley, originally Cator Park School for Girls, is a secondary school in Beckenham in the London Borough of Bromley, England, for girls between the ages of 11 and 18. In 2011, the school joined a federation of academies in South London called the Harris Federation, named after the Lord Harris of Peckham who is sponsoring them.

Served and managed by Southeastern, it is on the Hayes Line as part of its Metro routes.

Kent House railway station is on the Chatham Main Line in England, serving part of the Penge and Beckenham areas in the London Borough of Bromley, south London. It is 7 miles 66 chains (12.6 km) down the line from London Victoria and is situated between Penge East and Beckenham Junction. It takes its name from the nearby Kent House farm, the first house in the historic county of Kent after crossing the Surrey border. The station and most trains that call are operated by Southeastern, as part of the Bromley South Metro service, while a limited number of Thameslink services also call. Kent House is in Travelcard Zone 4.

Beckenham Road tram stop is a light rail stop in the London Borough of Bromley in the southern suburbs of London. The stop is located on an embankment above Beckenham Road (A234) which connects Beckenham with Crystal Palace and Penge on the site of the short-lived (1858–1860) West End of London & Crystal Palace Railway Penge station.The tram stop is served by Tramlink, which connects central Croydon with Beckenham.The tram stop is close to Clock House railway station on the National Rail Hayes Line, which lies on the other side of Beckenham Road and at a considerably lower level. Kent House railway station, served by trains between London Victoria and Orpington, is also within walking distance. Bus stops on roads adjacent to the stop provide interchange with the following bus services (as of January 2008): 194 – Sydenham–Croydon; 227 – Bromley–Crystal Palace; 354 – Bromley–Penge; 358 – Orpington–Crystal Palace.

Clock House railway station is in the London Borough of Bromley in south east London, in Travelcard Zone 4 between Beckenham and Penge. It is 10 miles 23 chains (16.6 km) down the line from London Charing Cross. The station and all trains serving it are operated by Southeastern on the Hayes line. The station, which was opened by the South Eastern Railway in 1890, is named after the nearby residence of the Cator Family, demolished in 1896. Clock House retains its original street level booking hall and the remnants of its platform canopies and was formerly known for its tendency to flood whenever overwhelmed by the Chaffinch brook. The station name can be spelt either Clock House or Clockhouse. For example, the previous station signage used the latter (historically inaccurate) form, whilst the published timetables use the former version. The new Southeastern re-branded station signage and livery has since corrected this inaccuracy.

The County Ground, Beckenham is a cricket ground in Beckenham in the London Borough of Bromley. The ground is owned by Leander Sports and Leisure and is used as an outground by Kent County Cricket Club for First XI fixtures, as well as for other matches. As of 2019 the Kent Women cricket team played the majority of their matches at the ground. The ground, which is on a 9.6 hectares (24 acres) site, was first used for first-class cricket in 1954. It hosted two matches during the 1993 Women's Cricket World Cup and has been used by Kent as a regular outground since 2003. The ground was redeveloped in 2001–02 and in 2014 and facilities include a 13 pitch square, a 2,048-seater stand, an indoor cricket school and 3G football pitches.

The Livesey Hall War Memorial, in Lewisham, Greater London, commemorates the fallen of World War I and World War II who had been employed by the South Suburban Gas Company of London. It is also a tribute to those employees who served in the wars. The monument was designed and executed by British sculptor Sydney March, of the March family of artists.

Bell Green is an area in the London Borough of Lewisham, between Perry Vale and Bellingham. The area was historically known for its gas works and the poverty of the local workers, in what Charles Booth called "the one really poor district in this quarter of London." The gasworks closed in 1968 and the whole area redeveloped; it is best known today for the eponymous retail park.

Penge Congregational Church is a Congregational church in Penge in the London Borough of Bromley located on Penge High Street between Sainsburys & Tesco Express, on the corner of Kenilworth Road. It is organised under Congregational principles for all who believe in Jesus and is run under a basis of fellowship that includes all members of the church. It was built 1912 to designs by P. Morley Horder "with passage aisles and clerestory. Shafts on large, excellently carved corbels." The structure appears fortress-like in its Romanesque Revival architectural style massing. Its elevated situation and tower dominate Penge High Street, more so than the stone broach spire of St. John the Evangelist, Penge. The church currently is in-between Ministers (in an interregnum) but the current Associate Minister is Pam Owen. Sunday Services are at 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Penge Congregational Church is part of the Congregational Federation.
