Monkland Priory

Monkland is a small village in the parish of Monkland and Stretford, in Herefordshire, England, about three miles (5 km) west of Leominster.

On 1 April 1987 the parish was abolished and merged with Monkland to form "Monkland & Stretford".The most notable building in the village is the Grade I listed St Cosmas and St Damian's Church.

Birley with Upper Hill is a civil parish in Herefordshire, England, consisting of the small villages of Birley and Upper Hill, and most of the hamlet of Bush Bank. According to the 2001 census, it had a population of 321, increasing to 339 at the 2011 census. The parish was formed on 1 April 1987 from parts of "Birley", Canon Pyon, Hope under Dinmore and King's Pyon.The Grade I listed church of St Peter dates back to the 12th century, and was the subject of restoration work in 2004, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. It is on Historic England's list of buildings at risk.

Kingsland is a small village and civil parish in the English county of Herefordshire, 5 kilometres (3 mi) north-west of Leominster. The population of the civil parish at the 2011 census was 986.The village church was built during the reign of Edward I (1239–1307) by Edward, Lord Mortimer and is dedicated to St Michael. To the west of the church are the earthwork remains of a motte-and-bailey castle, known to locals as 'The Mound'. Mortimer Park, located just outside the village, is home to Luctonians Rugby Club who currently play in the fourth tier rugby union league, National League 2 West.

The parish had a population of 124 at the time of the 2011 census.Eyton is mentioned in the Domesday Book as "Ettone" and was part of the manor of Leominster.In 1552 the Elizabethan writer and geographer Richard Hakluyt, known for his compilations of documents on contemporary voyages of exploration and for promoting the settlement of North America by the English, was born here.

Kingsland railway station was a station in Kingsland, Herefordshire, England. The station was opened in 1856, closed to passengers in 1955 and closed completely in 1964.The station was located south of the village, on the A4110, just north of the Pinsley Brook.
