Chhatarpur is an elevated station on the Yellow Line of the Delhi Metro. It is located in the Chhatarpur locality of the South West district of Delhi, India. Shree Adya Katyayani Shakti Peeth, popularly known as the Chhatarpur Temple is located near the station. The station was to be opened in June 2010, along with the other stations of the completely elevated corridor of the Yellow Line from Qutub Minar–HUDA City Centre. However, construction on the station was delayed due to land acquisition issues. To make the station operational before the 2010 Commonwealth Games, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation adopted a special design to construct the Chhatarpur station, using pre-fabricated structures. The station was finally opened to public on 26 August 2010, being built in a record time of nine months. Chhatarpur is the only station in the Delhi Metro network to be made completely of steel.

Chhatarpur Temple (Officially: Shri Aadya Katyayani Shakti Peetham) is located in a down town area in Chhatarpur, Delhi, India. This temple is dedicated to Goddess, Katyayani. The entire complex of the temple is spread over a wide area of 70 acres. It is located at Chhatarpur, on the southwestern outskirts of the New Delhi and is just 4 km (2.5 mi) from Qutub Minar, off Mehrauli-Gurgaon road.The temple was established in 1974, by Baba Sant Nagpal ji, who died in 1998. His samadhi shrine lies in the premises of the Shiv-Gauri Nageshwar Mandir within the temple complex.This temple was considered as the biggest temple in India and second largest in the world, before the Akshardham Temple was created in 2005 in Delhi. This temple is totally constructed from marble and on all the facets there is jaali (perforated stone or latticed screen) work. It can be classified a vesara style of architecture. Surroundings are an important biodiversity area within the Northern Aravalli leopard wildlife corridor stretching from Sariska Tiger Reserve to Delhi. Historical place around sanctuary are Badkhal Lake (6km northeast), 10th century ancient Surajkund reservoir and Anangpur Dam, Damdama Lake, Tughlaqabad Fort and Adilabad ruins (both in Delhi). It is contiguous to the seasonal waterfalls in Pali-Dhuaj-Kot villages of Faridabad, the scared Mangar Bani and the Asola Bhatti Wildlife Sanctuary. There are several dozen lakes formed in the abandoned open pit mines in the forested hilly area of Delhi Ridge.

Vasant Kunj is a posh neighbourhood located in Delhi, India. The area is home to several prominent personalities, one being the former prime minister of India, Dr Manmohan Singh, but also well-known members of the international ESD ExpertNet. The locality is also very close to Indira Gandhi International Airport and the commercial hub of Gurgaon. In early 90's Vasant Kunj was the agriculture based land of Kishangarh Village.

Nangal Dewat is a census town in the South West district of the Indian state of Delhi. Airport Authority of India (AAI) acquired the village in 1965 for future expansion, however, due to repeated protests, it was not fully acquired until 2007. The settlement is made up of four blocks and has many parks and lands for future use. This is the first modern village in Delhi with broad roads and multi-story homes. Rental properties are a source of income for the villagers.
