The J. B. Milleysack Cigar Factory is an historic American cigar factory which is located in Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

Jacob L. Frey Tobacco Warehouse is a historic tobacco warehouse located at Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. It was built about 1870, and is a two-story, irregular brick building with a raised basement and gable front roof. It is three bays wide and approximately 60 feet deep.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

Louise Arnold Tanger Arboretum (5 acres) is an arboretum located on the grounds of the Lancaster County Historical Society at 230 North President Avenue, Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The arboretum is open to the public daily. The arboretum was established in 1959 after botanist Louise Arnold Tanger offered to plant trees on the grounds. The arboretum was designed by Gustav Malmborg and was named in honor of its instigator Mrs Tanger. It now contains 104 varieties of trees including American chestnuts, beeches, firs, and three Franklinia trees.

The Slater Cigar Company is an historic site in the United States that encompasses two cigar factory and tobacco warehouse buildings. Located in Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

"Old Main," Goethean Hall, and Diagnothian Hall, also known as the Original Buildings of Franklin & Marshall College, are three historic academic buildings that are located on the campus of Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. They were added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

Wheatland, or the James Buchanan House, is a brick Federal style house which is located in Lancaster Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, outside of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. It was formerly owned by the 15th president of the United States, James Buchanan. The house was constructed in 1828 by William Jenkins, a local lawyer. The second owner was Thomas Fuller Potter. He sold it to William M. Meredith in 1845. Wheatland changed hands again in 1848, when it was purchased by Buchanan. Buchanan occupied the house for the next two decades, except for several years during his ambassadorship in Great Britain and during his presidency. After his death in 1868, Wheatland was inherited by Buchanan's niece, Harriet Lane, who sold it in 1884 to George Willson. It was inherited by a relative of Willson's in 1929. Wheatland was put up for sale again after the relative died in 1934 and was acquired by a group of people who set up a foundation for the purpose of preserving the house. Wheatland was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1961 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1966. It was designated a contributing property to the Northeast Lancaster Township Historic District in 1980. The foundation and the adjacent historical society merged in 2009.

The Unitarian Universalist Church of Lancaster is a Unitarian Universalist church located at 538 West Chestnut Street, Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The church building is part of the Historic District of the City of Lancaster. The congregation is a member of the Unitarian Universalist Association, in the Association's Central East Region (Joseph Priestley District). Like all Unitarian Universalist churches, it is noncreedal, covenantal and religiously liberal. According to the UUA, the Lancaster church currently has 275 members and is an LGBTQIAA+ Welcoming Congregation.

Franklin & Marshall College (F&M) is a private liberal arts college in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1853 on the merger of Franklin College and Marshall College, F&M is named for Benjamin Franklin, who gave the college its first endowment, and John Marshall. Founded in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, F&M's early years were bilingual between German and English, serving the local Pennsylvania Dutch community. Originally founded as the German College and Charity School, Franklin College received its charter in 1787 from the Pennsylvania General Assembly as a German-language alternative to the University of Pennsylvania. Among its early supporters were Benjamin Franklin, Robert Morris, and Peter Muhlenberg.Franklin & Marshall was the first coeducational college in America, serving both men and women in an experimental curriculum. Among its first students was Richea Gratz, the first Jewish female college student in the United States. The college offers various majors and minors across 62 fields of study, including the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and other disciplines. The college operates an advanced studies program in Bath, England. All students are undergraduates, and nearly all live on campus. F&M is the 7th highest baccalaureate producer of Fulbright scholars.

Lancaster Theological Seminary is a seminary of the United Church of Christ in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. It was founded in 1825 by members of the German Reformed Church in the United States to provide theological education for prospective clergy and other church leaders.

The R. K. Schnader & Sons Tobacco Warehouse is an historic, American tobacco warehouse that is located in Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

Daniel Scholl Observatory was the astronomical observatory built by Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Construction began in 1884 and the building was dedicated June 16, 1886. Total cost of the observatory and equipment was $13,579. The Observatory was named after Mr. Daniel Scholl of Maryland because his child donated the money for its establishment. Building cost- $3,000 Steel Dome $2,000 by Grubb & Sons, Dublin, Ireland Equipment cost-$8,579 total $4,199 for 11" Repsold Telescope (Hamburg, Germany) $2,200 lens manufactured by Alvan Clark & Sons, Cambridge, Massachusetts $2,180 for chronometer, chronograph, transit, clock and other equipmentStarting in 1889 it was one of the official Pennsylvania weather stations. In 1925 the observatory was moved 200 yards north to make way for a dormitory. The observatory was razed in 1966.
