FC Gütersloh is a German association football club based in Gütersloh, North Rhine-Westphalia.

The Stadtpark und Botanischer Garten Gütersloh (15.5 hectares) is a municipal park with botanical garden (3 hectares) located at Parkstraße, Gütersloh, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is a member of the European Garden Heritage Network and open daily without charge. The park was created between 1906 and 1909 to designs by garden architect Friedrich Wilhelm Schoedder (1855-1938), with the botanical garden added to its northeastern corner in 1912. A palm house was constructed in 1938 but destroyed in World War II; it has subsequently been restored and now houses a café. A rose garden was created in 1941, followed by a birch grove (1950), mini golf course (1960), orchard (1990), herb garden (1998), and sculpture garden (2000). Today the park retains its original design, broadly patterned upon an English landscape park, with an elongated axis, wide curving paths, lawns, and numerous trees, as well as a meadow flooded for ice-skating in the winter. The botanical garden is laid out as a display garden, with geometric pools, arcades, and high hornbeam hedges. The orchard contains a number of heritage fruit varieties including Westfälischer Gülderling and Schöner aus Wiedenbrück.

Gütersloh (German pronunciation: [ˈɡyːtɐsloː] (listen)) is a city in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, in the area of Westphalia and the administrative region of Detmold. Gütersloh is the administrative centre for a district of the same name and has a population of 100,194 people.

Gütersloh Hauptbahnhof is the main railway station in Gütersloh in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It is on the electrified, four-track main line from the Ruhr to Hanover, opened in 1847 as part of the trunk line of the former Cologne-Minden Railway Company. Services of the Warendorf Railway also run from Münster via Rheda-Wiedenbrück and the Hamm–Minden line to Gütersloh. Gütersloh Hauptbahnhof (Hbf) is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 4 station. In the station building there is a tourist bureau, where tickets can be purchased. There is also has a restaurant/bistro, a bakery, a mini-supermarket and a station bookshop.

The Apostelkirche is the oldest church building in the district town of Gütersloh in North Rhine-Westphalia. The church was declared a listed building in 1984.

The Volksbank Bielefeld-Gütersloh eG is a regional cooperative bank based in the East Westphalian district town of Gütersloh. With a balance sheet total of € 4.44 billion, it is the third-largest Volksbank in North Rhine-Westphalia and, with 108,600 members, the largest association of individuals in the Ostwestfalen-Lippe region (as of 2018). The bank emerged from the merger of the Volksbank Gütersloh with the smaller Bielefelder Volksbank on May 22, 2014.The Volksbank Bielefeld-Gütersloh's branches and self-service terminals are located in Bielefeld, Gütersloh, Rheda-Wiedenbrück, Verl (excluding Kaunitz), Steinhagen, Herzebrock, Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock, Rietberg-Bokel, Langenberg-Benteler and Versmold-Peckeloh. Two self-service terminals are located in corporate buildings of Bertelsmann.

Theater Gütersloh is a theatre for opera and drama performances in Gütersloh, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The new building was designed by the architect Jörg Friedrich. It was opened in 2010.

Miele ( MEE-EH-lə; German: [ˈmiːlə]) is a German manufacturer of high-end domestic appliances and commercial equipment, headquartered in Gütersloh, Ostwestfalen-Lippe. The company was founded in 1899 by Carl Miele and Reinhard Zinkann, and has always been a family-owned and family-run company.

King's School was a secondary school in Gütersloh, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Serving the children of British military families stationed in the area, it is the largest school in Service Children's Education. It was the only SCE secondary school in the area and also served children from bases in Bielefeld, Herford, Detmold, and Paderborn.

Neue Stimmen (New Voices) is an international singing competition. It was established in 1987 on the initiative of Liz Mohn with the support of August Everding to promote operas young talent. It is considered an important forum for new talent, one that has marked the beginning of international careers for many participants. The singing competition was hosted every two years by the Bertelsmann Stiftung in Gütersloh, most recently in June 2022.
