Keisby is a hamlet in the civil parish of Lenton, Keisby and Osgodby, in the South Kesteven district, in Lincolnshire, England. It is situated 6 miles (10 km) north-west from Bourne and 9 miles (14 km) south-east from Grantham. In 1921 the parish had a population of 72.

Hawthorpe is a hamlet in the South Kesteven district of Lincolnshire, England, and the civil parish of Irnham, Bulby and Hawthorpe. It is west from the A15, east from the A1, and 5 miles (8.0 km) north-west from the town of Bourne. Hawthorpe is mentioned in the Domesday Book as "Awartorp", in the Beltisloe Hundred of Kesteven. It comprised 2 households, 2 villagers and 4 freemen, with 2.9 ploughlands, a meadow of 8 acres (0.032 km2) and woodland of 320 acres (1.3 km2). In 1066 the Lord was Healfdene; after 1086 Lordship was given to Alfred of Lincoln.In the 1872 White's Directory the two hamlets of Bulby and Hawthorpe were grouped as Bulby-cum-Hawthorpe forming the eastern side of Irnham parish, being a joint township with a population of 180 in 1,767 acres (7.2 km2) "of fertile land". About 1,000 acres (4.0 km2) of Bulby-cum-Hawthorpe land was purchased by Rev. William Watson Smith in about 1840, who built on it the Elizabethan-style Bulby House and grounds. By 1872, Bulby House and 1,100 acres (4.5 km2) of township land was owned by Gilbert Heathcote-Drummond-Willoughby, 1st Earl of Ancaster (Lord Aveland), who was lord of the manor. A moated area evident at the time was said to be the site of Bulby Hall which is "supposed to have been burnt down in the Barons' wars".In the 1885 Kelly's Directory Hawthorpe is written as having an 1881 population of 70, and as a joint township with the hamlet of Bulby for the support of the poor. Hawthorpe belonged principally to Lord Aveland, who lived at Bulby House.Listed buildings in the hamlet centre on Hawthorpe Farm, including a 17th-century farmhouse, 19th-century cottages, and 17th- to 19th-century barns and stables, all Grade II.

Aveland was a Wapentake of Kesteven from the time of the Danelaw until the Local Government Act 1888. Its meeting place was The Aveland at grid reference TF 0675 2961 in the parish of Aslackby.

According to the 2001 census the parish had a population of 243, in 102 households. increasing slightly to 251 in 118 households at the 2011 census. It consists of the village of Aslackby, the hamlet of Laughton, and scattered farms, and part of the hamlet of Graby.

Pickworth is a village and civil parish in the South Kesteven district of Lincolnshire, England. The population of the civil parish including Braceby and Sapperton was 243 at the 2011 census. It is situated approximately 8 miles (13 km) both east from Grantham and south from Sleaford. The 1086 Domesday Book lists Pickworth as having forty households and a church.The Church of England parish church of Saint Andrew is a Grade I listed building built of limestone and dating from the 12th century. The 14th-century rebuilding of the church is said to date from 1356, probably by the Pickworth family. Over the chancel arch are 14th-century wall paintings dated to about 1380.

The village is situated west of the A15, east of the A1, and approximately 4 miles (6 km) north-west from the town of Bourne. In 1872 the two hamlets of Bulby and Hawthorpe were grouped as Bulby-cum-Hawthorpe forming the eastern side of Irnham parish, being a joint township with a population of 180 in 1,767 acres (7.2 km2) "of fertile land". Kirkby Underwood is a village and civil parish in the South Kesteven district of Lincolnshire, England. The population of the civil parish was 200 at the 2001 census, increasing to 220 at the 2011 census. It is situated 4 miles (6 km) north from Bourne and 1 mile (1.6 km) west from the main A15 trunk road. To the east is Rippingale and the Fens. Directly to the south is the hamlet of Stainfield, and to the west, Hawthorpe. Kirkby Underwood Grade I listed Anglican church is dedicated to St. Mary and All Saints. In 1885 Kelly's Directory described the church as in Perpendicular style, with chancel, nave and south aisle, and a tower containing three bells. It was in a "very ruinous state". The parish register dated from 1569.The ecclesiastical parish is part of The Ringstone in Aveland Group of the Deanery of Beltisloe, Diosece of Lincoln. The vicar was the Revd Dr Lynda Pugh between 2012 and 2018. The incumbent is the Revd Neil Bullen. Between the village and Hawthorpe is Callan's Lane Wood, run by the Forestry Commission. Near the wood are two radio masts and a BT microwave transmitter.

Hanby is a hamlet in the South Kesteven district of Lincolnshire, England. It is situated between Lenton and Ropsley Heath, on the line of the Roman Road King Street. The nearest large town is Grantham 7 miles (11 km) to the north-west. Hanby is part of the civil parish of Lenton, Keisby and Osgodby .

The Church of St Andrew in Folkingham, Lincolnshire, England, is Grade I–listed Anglican church. Originating in the late 12th century, it was largely completed by the late 15th, with restorations carried out in 1825, 1858 and 1860. It has early Decorated style arcades and a mainly Early English chancel, with a Norman pier where there was an opening into a chantry chapel. On the south side of the church are the remains of stocks and a whipping-post.The churchyard contains the war graves of two army personnel of the First World War.The church is a prominent feature of the village, but is inconspicuous from the Market Place. In 2006 it was damaged when gale force winds blew down two of the four pinnacles, one of which fell onto the roof causing damaging costing more than £100,000 to repair.Folkingham is part of the Parish of South Lafford in the Deanery of Lafford, Diocese of Lincoln.

Folkingham ( FOK-ing-əm) is a village and civil parish in the South Kesteven district of Lincolnshire, England. It lies on the A15 road 11 miles (18 km) north of Bourne and 10 miles (16 km) south of Sleaford. The 2001 Census gave a population of 729, rising to 796 at the 2011 census, and estimated at 795 in 2016.
