Moti Mahal (restaurant)

Daryaganj (literally "River Trading Post/Warehouse") is a neighbourhood of Delhi inside the walled city of Shahjahanabad (Old Delhi). The "darya" (lit. "River") refers to the river Yamuna which was just outside the walled city. Daryaganj is one of the three sub-divisions and also the administrative headquarters of the Central Delhi District. It starts at Delhi Gate, at the edge of Netaji Subhash Road, which goes towards Red Fort.

The Golden Mosque, or Sunehri Masjid, is a mosque in Chandni Chowk of Old Delhi. It is located outside the southwestern corner of Delhi Gate of the Red Fort, opposite the Netaji Subhash Park.

Akbarabadi Mosque was a mosque in Delhi, India. It was built by Akbarabadi Mahal, one of Shah Jahan's wives in 1650. One of the several Mughal era mosques in Old Delhi, it was demolished by the British, following their recapture of Delhi during the 1857 Uprising. It is believed to have existed in modern-day Netaji Subhash Park locality of Old Delhi.

Venkaiah Naidu and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on 28-May-2017. The corridor will be operational from 28-May-2017, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) announced on 26-May-2017. An extension of the Violet Line (ITO-Escort Mujeser), this entirely underground section comprises four stations—Kashmere Gate, Dilli Gate, Jama Masjid and Lal Qila.

The Zeenat-ul-Masajid, also written as Zeenat-ul-Masjid and popularly known as the Ghata Masjid (lit. 'Cloud Mosque'), is an 18th-century Mughal mosque located in Delhi, India. The mosque was commissioned by Zeenat-un-Nissa, second daughter of the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb.

Central Delhi is an administrative district of the National Capital Territory of Delhi in India. It is bounded by the Yamuna River on the east and by the districts of North Delhi to the north, West Delhi and South West Delhi to the west, New Delhi to the south, and East Delhi to the east across the Yamuna. Delhi Gate of Naman is the southern gate in the historic walled city of Delhi, or Shahjahanabad in 1638 AD. The gate links the New Delhi city with the old walled city of Delhi. It stands in the middle of the road, at the end of Netaji Subhash Chandra Road (or Netaji Subhash Marg), at the edge of Daryaganj.

The Delhi Gate is an entrance to the Red Fort in Delhi and is on the Fort's southern wall. The gate received its name from the Fort's city. The primary gate is the Lahori Gate, which is very similar in appearance. The gate was constructed under Shah Jahan. It was provided with a 10.5 high metre barbican by Aurangzeb, facing west. The gateway consists of three stories and is decorated with square, rectangular, and cusped arched panels. These panels are flanked by semi-octagonal towers crowned by two open octagonal pavilions. Red sandstone adorns the gate while the pavilion roofs are in white stone. Between the two pavilions is a screen of miniature chhatris with seven miniature marble domes. Flame-shaped battlements encompass the wall. Near it on the right the last emperor was imprisoned after September 1857. Between the inner and outer gates stand two large stone elephants without riders. They were replaced here by the gift of Lord Curzon. Beyond the southern glacis of the fort, on which a cross marks the site of the old cemetery, are the gardens and cantonment of Darya-ganj. The latter is bounded on the west by the Faiz Bazar leading to the Delhi Gate.

Karim's Hotel or Karim's is a historic restaurant located near Jama Masjid, Gali Kababian, Old Delhi, Delhi, India. Established in 1913, the restaurant has been described as "synonymous with this area" (Old Delhi) and "arguably the city's most famous culinary destination". Outside Delhi the first restaurant from Karim's came up in Kolkata, with the city now hosting three restaurants of the same. Since April 2021 it's also open in the South Indian city of Bangalore.
