Kimbel Library, located in Conway, South Carolina, is the academic library at Coastal Carolina University. It is named after William and Maud Kimbel.

Coastal Carolina University (CCU or Coastal) is a public university in Conway, South Carolina. Founded in 1954 as Coastal Carolina Junior College, and later joining the University of South Carolina System as USC Coastal Carolina, it became an independent university in 1993. The university is a national sea-grant institution and owns part of Waties Island, an Atlantic barrier island that serves as a natural laboratory for CCU's instruction and research. The campus is also the home of the Horry County Schools Scholars Academy, a high school for gifted students.

Kimbel Arena is a 1,039-seat multi-purpose arena located on the campus of Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina, United States. It was home to the Coastal Carolina University men's and women's basketball teams and the women's volleyball team through the 2011–12 season, but those teams moved to the new HTC Center in the fall of 2012. The arena hosted the 2010 and 2011 Big South Conference men's basketball tournament finals. The arena is located inside the Williams Brice Physical Education Center.

Springs Brooks Stadium/Vrooman Field is a baseball park in the southeastern United States, located on the campus of Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina. It is the home field of the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers of the Sun Belt Conference. The 33,000-square-foot (3,100 m2) baseball project includes 2,500 permanent seats, with the potential to accommodate between 5,000-6,000 for major events like the NCAA postseason tournament.

Charles Watson Stadium was a baseball stadium located on the campus of Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina. It has since been replaced with Springs Brooks Stadium. Vrooman Field is still the home field of the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers baseball team.

HTC Center, originally known as the Student Recreation and Convocation Center, is a 3,370-seat multi-purpose arena located on the campus of Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina. It is home to the Coastal Carolina University men's and women's basketball teams and the women's volleyball teams. The arena replaced Kimbel Arena as Coastal Carolina's basketball and volleyball home. On August 2, 2012, Horry Telephone Cooperative purchased the naming rights to the venue.An earlier planned arena, named YRT2 Arena, was to have opened in 2008. It would have also been home to a future ECHL franchise, the Myrtle Beach Thunderboltz. Both the men's and women's programs opened the facility with victories. The men defeated the University of Akron 74–70 in overtime on November 9, 2012. The women's program followed with a 58–39 victory against North Carolina Central University on November 12, 2012.

Red Hill is a census-designated place (CDP) in Horry County, South Carolina, United States. The population was 13,223 at the 2010 census, up from 10,509 at the 2000 census.

Coastal Carolina University Soccer Field is a soccer-specific stadium in Conway, South Carolina on the Coastal Carolina University campus. The field is home to the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers men's and women's soccer teams. The facility seats 1,000 people.

Brooks Stadium is a 21,000-seat multi-purpose stadium in Conway, South Carolina. It is home to the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers football team at Coastal Carolina University. The facility opened in 2003 and is named in honor of Coby Garrett Brooks and Boni Belle Brooks, children of Robert Brooks. Brooks was a Loris, South Carolina native and was the chairman of Hooters of America, Inc. The stadium is notable for its teal artificial turf.

Scholars Academy is a four-year public high school institution located in Conway, South Carolina at Coastal Carolina University. The school was established as part of Horry County Schools for gifted education in 2003.

Carolina Forest High School is located in Horry County, South Carolina, United States, in the Carolina Forest attendance area. The school is one of nine high schools within Horry County Schools. The school serves parts of Myrtle Beach and eastern Conway. Approximately 2400 students attend Carolina Forest High School (grades 9–12) each year. It is led by Principal Gaye Driggers.

Carolina Forest is a census-designated place (CDP) in Horry County, South Carolina, United States. It was first listed as a CDP in the 2020 census with a population of 23,342.It is located west of Myrtle Beach and east of Conway in an area planned by International Paper in the late 1990s. Most of the development follows the Carolina Forest Master Plan, developed cooperatively between International Paper and the Horry County Government. Carolina Forest also includes the unincorporated community of Pine Island.
