The former Government Press Buildings (Burmese: ဗဟိုပုံနှိပ်စက်ရုံ) is a colonial-era landmark in Yangon, Myanmar (formerly Rangoon, Burma), designated in the Yangon City Heritage List. The building complex is located on the northwest corner of the Secretariat on Theinbyu Road.The low-rise brick complex was designed by Scottish architect John Begg, and built between 1909 and 1912. The complex's main facade features an elegant entrance with Greek columns. During the colonial era, the building was the official distribution center and printing factory for official government publications, including gazettes, journals, news, and textbooks. In the post-colonial era, it became the publishing arm of the Ministry of Information's Government Printing and Stationery Department, employing over 1,300 staff. The broader Government Printing and Stationery Department complex housed the Printing & Publishing Enterprise (ပုံနှပ်ရေးနှင့်စာအုပ်ထုတ်ဝေရေးလုပ်ငန်း) until 2005, when the national government moved ministerial facilities to Naypyidaw. The building later served as the Office for the Minister of Information. This building is still owned by the Ministry which maintains some offices here.

Custom House, Yangon (Burmese: အကောက်ခွန်ဦးစီးဌာန) is a colonial-era landmark in Yangon, Myanmar (formerly Rangoon, Burma), designated in the Yangon City Heritage List. The building, located on Strand Road, facing the port area and its wharfs, continues to house the Burmese custom house. Custom House was designed by Scottish architect John Begg, and built between 1912 and 1916. The building replaced a wooden customs house first constructed in 1853, following the end of the Second Anglo-Burmese War. Throughout the colonial era, the Customs House collected duties and excise taxes from commercial shipping, which represented an important revenue source for the colonial government.The red brick building is noted for its towering bracket clock and columned portico, with architectural adaptations to tropical weather conditions.

The Governor's Residence is a Victorian-style hotel located in Dagon Township, Yangon, Myanmar (Burma), located in a teak mansion from the 1920s. It is located in the Embassy Quarter near the Shwedagon Pagoda, the National Museum, the former Foreign Ministry office compound and India House - now the official residence of the ambassador of India. The famed British Gentlemen's Club, the Pegu Club was located nearby.

The Strand (also known as Strand Hotel) is a Victorian-style hotel located in Yangon, Myanmar (Burma), built by Aviet and Tigran Sarkie, two of the Sarkies Brothers. The hotel, which opened in 1901, which faces the Yangon River to its south, is one of the most famous hotels in Yangon and Southeast Asia, and is managed by GCP Hospitality. The hotel is named after its address, at 92 Strand Road.

General Post Office (Burmese: ရန်ကုန်စာတိုက်ကြီး) is a colonial-era landmark in Yangon, Myanmar (formerly Rangoon, Burma), designated in the Yangon City Heritage List. The building, located on the corner of Bo Aung Kyaw Street and Strand Road in Kyauktada Township, houses the central post office of Yangon.General Post Office was built in 1908 by AC Martin & Company, and housed the headquarters of Bulloch Brothers & Company, a Scottish rice trading firm founded by James and George Bulloch. The company was liquidated in 1933, and was subsequently acquired and repurposed in 1936 by the colonial government as the general post office for Rangoon.The building is noted for its lancet arched windows, its beaux-Arts portico, ornate stucco work, and foyer.

The Supreme Court of Myanmar (Burmese: ပြည်ထောင်စုတရားလွှတ်တော်ချုပ်) is the highest judicial forum and final court of appeal under the Constitution of Myanmar, existing as an independent judicial entity, alongside the legislative and executive branches. The Court is legally mandated to have 7 to 11 judges, including a Chief Justice.

The former High Court Building (Burmese: တရားရုံးချုပ်ဟောင်း) is a colonial-era building located at No. 89/133 Pansodan Street, between Maha Bandula Garden Street and Pansodan Street in Kyauktada Township, downtown Yangon.Until 2006, the Supreme Court of Myanmar was located at this complex. The High Court Building was designed by architect James Ransome, construction of the High Court began in 1905 and was completed in 1911, and is noted for its colonial-era Indo-Saracenic Architecture, including its clock tower and its red-bricked exterior. The building is listed on the Yangon City Heritage List. Located near Yangon City Hall, the building faces the Independence Monument and the Maha Bandula Park.

Gandhi Hall, also known as Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Trust, is a building in downtown Yangon, Myanmar, on the Merchant Street corner of Bo Aung Kyaw Road. It was first used as the office of The Rangoon Times, one of the English-language newspapers in British Burma. Later, in 1951, it was bought by Prime Minister U Nu and Indian ambassador M. A. Rauf for the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Trust. The building is also part of the political history of Myanmar, as it was used for a gathering of elected representatives of the 1990 Myanmar election, who issued the Gandhi Hall Declaration in July 1990.

The Maha Bandula Park or Maha Bandula Garden (Burmese: မဟာဗန္ဓုလ ပန်းခြံ, pronounced [məhà bàɰ̃dṵla̰ páɰ̃dʑàɰ̃], also spelt Mahabandula or Mahabandoola) is a public park, located in downtown Yangon, Burma. The park is bounded by Maha Bandula Garden Street in the east, Sule Pagoda Road in the west, Konthe Road in the south and Maha Bandula Road in the north, and is surrounded by some of the important buildings in the area such as the Sule Pagoda, the Yangon City Hall and the High Court. The park is named after General Maha Bandula who fought against the British in the First Anglo-Burmese War (1824–1826).

Myanmar Mayflower Bank was a bank of Myanmar. Founded in 1994 by Kyaw Myint, it was formerly the third largest bank in the country with ten branches. It has, like Banco Delta Asia, been designated as a "primary money laundering concern" by the United States Treasury and thus is subject to very strict regulations in its dealings with American banks. The bank's license was revoked by government authorities in March 2005 following a money laundering investigation.

The Canadian Ambassador to Myanmar in Yangon is the official representative of the Government of Canada in Ottawa to the Government of Myanmar.

Immanuel Baptist Church is a Baptist church in central Yangon at the corner of Mahar Bandoola Garden Street and Mahar Bandoola Road opposite Yangon City Hall.
