OlympiaWorld Innsbruck is a multi-purpose sports facility complex in Innsbruck, Austria. It was opened in 1963. The complex served as the Olympic Park of the 1964 and 1976 Winter Olympics, as well as the 2012 and Winter Youth Olympics.

Olympiahalle is an indoor sports venue located in Innsbruck, Austria. During the 1964 Winter Olympics, it hosted the figure skating and ice hockey events. Twelve years later, at the 1976 Winter Olympics, it again hosted figure skating and ice hockey. Twelve years later, Olympic competitions were again held at the Olympiahalle. For the 2005 IIHF World Championship, it was renovated and built a smaller ice rink. The capacity is approximately 7,800 spectators at the Olympiahalle in Innsbruck, and approximately 3,200 in the smaller hall, the Tyrolean Ice Arena next door. The smaller hall hosts the HC Innsbruck for its games. In 2024 it will host the 2024 European Women's Handball Championship.

The Tivoli Stadion Tirol (formerly named Tivoli-Neu ) is a multi-purpose stadium in Innsbruck, Austria. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of Bundesliga club WSG Tirol and Raiders Tirol of the European League of Football. The stadium capacity was 17,400 when it was built in 2000. For the UEFA Euro 2008 the stadium was temporarily expanded to 30,000 people. The North Stand is fitted with rail seats for safe standing.

The Tirol Panorama with the Museum of the Imperial Infantry or Tirol Panorama (German: Das Tirol Panorama mit Kaiserjägermuseum) is a museum in Innsbruck in the Austrian state of Tyrol, which is mainly important because it houses the Innsbruck Giant Panorama Painting.

The Tyrol S-Bahn provides regional rail services in metropolitan Innsbruck, Austria and its hinterlands in the state of Tyrol. At present, it is only a nominally an S-Bahn in that it only operates on the lines of the Austrian Federal Railways. Expansion projects, including new stations, however, are being planned.

The Lower Inn Valley Railway (German: Unterinntalbahn) is a two-track, electrified railway line that is one of the major lines of the Austrian railways. It was originally opened as the k.k. Nordtiroler Staatsbahn (Imperial and Royal North Tyrolean State Railway). It begins at the German border near the Austrian city of Kufstein as a continuation of the Rosenheim–Kufstein line and runs in a generally south-westerly direction through Tyrol along the Inn valley to Innsbruck. The line is part of the Line 1 of Trans-European Transport Networks (TEN-T). The line is owned and operated by Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB).

The Arlberg Railway (German: Arlbergbahn), which connects the Austrian cities Innsbruck and Bludenz, is Austria's only east-west mountain railway. It is one of the highest standard gauge railways in Europe and the second highest in Austria, after the Brenner. The 135.7 km line is a highly problematic mountain railway, in part because it is threatened by avalanches, mudslides, rockfalls and floods. It is operated by the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) and frequented by international trains, including the Orient Express.

Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof (German for Innsbruck Main Station or Central Station) is the main railway station in Innsbruck, the capital city of the Austrian federal state of Tyrol. Opened in 1853, the station is a major hub for western and central Austria. In 2019, it was the 8th-busiest station in the country, and the 2nd-busiest outside of Vienna after only Linz Hauptbahnhof, with 315 train movements and 38,500 passengers daily.The station is owned and operated by ÖBB. It forms the junction of the Arlberg Railway to Bregenz, Brenner Railway to Italy, Mittenwald Railway to Germany's region of Ällgau, Stubaitalbahn and the main east-west artery Lower Inn Valley Railway.

Stubaital station (German: Stubaitalbahnhof) was built in 1903 and, until 1983, was the terminus of the Stubai Valley Railway in Innsbruck. Since 1983 trains approaching from Fulpmes have been routed through the city of Innsbruck. Originally the station, which is located on the Brenner Road at the foot of the Bergisel, had a nameboard announcing the station name as Wilten-Stubai because the village of Wilten was independent until 1904. On the station land there used to be a goods depot, a station building with a kiosk, waiting hall and stationmaster's office as well as a two-road locomotive shed for the Stubai Valley Railway. The shed was soon expanded by a further road, because the locomotive fleet increased significantly to handle the heavy traffic on the line. The goods depot was torn down in 1974 when freight transport on the Stubai Valley Railway was withdrawn. Following the conversion of the Stubai Valley Railway to direct current working in 1983, the station was no longer needed and the trackage in front of the shed was lifted. The Tyrolean Museum Railways – then a newly founded society – was given the building in order to preserve the vehicles for museum purposes. The Localbahn museum was established in the old stationmaster's office and waiting room. Over the years a new array of tracks was laid in the station yard and a connexion to the Innsbruck tram network (of the Innsbruck Transport Company) installed. In 2000, the shed was given a major overhaul. In summer 2007 the Stubai Valley Railway could not run trains into the city centre due to maintenance work on the points in the depot of the Innsbruck tram system, which is why the old Stubaital station was reactivated for several weeks after a gap of 24 years.

The Tyrolean Museum Railways or Tiroler MuseumsBahnen (TMB) is a railway society in Austria whose aim is the preservation and/or documentation of the historically important branch lines (known as Localbahnen) and their rolling stock in the state of Tyrol. The Tyrolean Museum Railways have three main spheres of operation: The Tyrolean Localbahn Museum (Tiroler Localbahnmuseum) in Innsbruck A collection of rolling stock that includes some of the most valuable, historic vehicles from the Tyrolean branch lines A club whose members voluntarily run the Localbahn Museum, restore and renovate historic vehicles and restaurieren operate special trips using working trains.

The Stubaitalbahn (Stubai Valley Railway) is an 18.2 km (11.31 mi) long narrow gauge interurban tram from Innsbruck to Fulpmes in Tyrol, Austria. In the city of Innsbruck, it uses the local tramway tracks. At the Stubaital station, the branch line-rated part begins. The meter gauge track starts at Innsbruck's Main station, crosses the Wilten district, and passes the villages of Natters, Mutters, Kreith, and Telfes. Between the Stubaital station and Fulpmes, the railway is single-track, but at nine stations: Sonnenburgerhof, Hölltal, Mutters, Nockhofweg Muttereralmbahn, Feldeler, Kreith, Telfer Wiesen, Luimes, Telfes, there are passing loops where the train usually uses the left-hand track. The final station, Fulpmes, has three tracks and one depot.

The Bergisel Ski Jump (German: Bergiselschanze), whose stadium has a capacity of 26,000, is a ski jumping hill located in Bergisel in Innsbruck, Austria. It is one of the more important venues in the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup, annually hosting the third competition of the prestigious Four Hills Tournament. Its first competitions were held in the 1920s using simple wood constructions. The larger hill was first built in 1930 and was rebuilt before the 1964 Winter Olympics for the individual large hill event. Twelve years later, the venue hosted the same event. The hill in its current form was finished in 2003 and was designed by the British Iraqi architect Zaha Hadid.
