Norah Head, originally known as Bungaree Noragh Point, is a headland and a coastal village in Central Coast Council on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia. Norah Head is known for its great surfing and clear beaches like Soldiers Beach near Wyrrabalong National Park and Pebbly Beach with Norah Head Rock Pool. The town is home to Norah Head Lighthouse with scenic views along the coast.

Norah Head Lightstation Precinct is a heritage-listed former lighthouse precinct located at Bush Street, Norah Head in the Central Coast local government area of New South Wales, Australia. The Norah Head lighthouse and associated buildings were designed by Cecil W. Darley and built in 1903. The precinct was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 13 April 2007.

Noraville is a suburb of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. It is part of the Central Coast Council local government area. It is the site of Edward Hargraves' property that he purchased after his discovery of payable gold. As part of the Toukley district, Noraville has a similar elderly demographic. to that of Toukley.

Hargraves House, Noraville is a heritage-listed house at 3 Elizabeth Drive, Noraville in the Central Coast local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by Edward Hammond Hargraves and built from 1856 to 1859 by Mr Fletcher. It is also known as Hargraves House and Norahville. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

The Wyrrabalong National Park is a coastal national park that is located on the Central Coast of New South Wales, in eastern Australia. The 620-hectare (1,500-acre) national park consists of two sections; the northern section consists of approximately 480 hectares (1,200 acres) and covers a substantial area of the peninsula between The Entrance and Norah Head as well as Terilbah and Pelican Islands within Tuggerah Lake. The southern section consists of about 120 hectares (300 acres) of the coast, from Shelly Beach south to Forresters Beach. The park is also noted for containing the last significant coastal (littoral) rainforest on the Central Coast.Most of the park lies in the Tuggerah Important Bird Area, identified as such by BirdLife International because of its importance for a variety of water and woodland birds.The average elevation of the terrain is 8 meters.

Magenta () is a coastal location of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. It is part of the Central Coast Council local government area, and contains a significant portion of the Wyrrabalong National Park. Magenta is a relatively new area to be developed for residence, with the suburb gazetted in 1991. Previously it was the location for rutile mining and as the garbage tip for The Entrance, New South Wales. The location is traversed south–north by Wilfred Barrett Drive linking The Entrance and Toukley, named after a Wyong Shire President. The road was designated part of the Central Coast Highway in 2006.

Toukley ( TOO-klee) is a town in the Central Coast region of the Australian state of New South Wales and is located within Central Coast Council. It lies approximately 109 km north of Sydney and 54 km south of Newcastle via the M1. It is located between Tuggerah Lake, Budgewoi Lake, and the Pacific Ocean. At the channel connecting Tuggerah Lake and Budgewoi Lake the new Toukley bridge was constructed between 1983 and 1985 linking Toukley on the eastern side of the Lakes system with Gorokan on the west, replacing the old two lane wooden bridge. Toukley also provides various forms of accommodation to tourists including motels, caravan parks, holiday houses and lake cabins.

Budgewoi ( BUDGE-ə-woy) is a suburb located on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia, as part of the Central Coast Council local government area. Budgewoi is located 114 km northeast of Sydney.Much of the town is surrounded by water; Lake Munmorah, Budgewoi Lake and the Pacific Ocean. An Ideal spot for water enthusiasts. Long an area of retirees and holiday homes, rising housing prices in Sydney during the 1990s saw it become a sleeper town, with increased numbers of people commuting to Sydney. The last decade has seen an important change in Budgewoi with the influx of people bringing greater infrastructure and development to the suburb. Coles opened its doors in 2005 expanding the central business area and drawing businesses and consumers to the area. It is a relatively quiet, coastal town.

The lake is located near the settlement of Budgewoi and is situated about 100 kilometres (62 mi) north of Sydney.

Adelaide was a wooden cutter that was wrecked near Bird Island, Norah Head, New South Wales, in May 1834. She was carrying a load of timber.

The Bird Island Nature Reserve is a protected nature reserve located near Lake Munmorah on the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. The island is situated 1.4 kilometres (0.87 mi) off the east coast of New South Wales, within the Tasman Sea. The reserve may be seen from the lighthouse at Norah Head.
