Glenn Dale is an unincorporated area and census-designated place (CDP) in Prince George's County, Maryland, United States. The population was 14,698 at the 2020 census. Glenn Dale is home to the Glenn Dale Hospital, an abandoned sanatorium, and the USDA Plant Introduction Station.

Marietta is a historic house and former tobacco plantation located in Glenn Dale, Prince George's County, Maryland. On the National Register of Historic Places and the National Underground Railroad Network to Freedom, Marietta House Museum includes a federal era house, a cemetery, the original root cellar, and harness room, as well as Judge Gabriel Duvall's original law office building. The historic site sits on 25 acres of Marietta's original 690 acres. Today, visitors can walk the grounds and tour the plantation buildings and sites where free and enslaved people lived and labored.

The Thomas J. Calloway House, constructed in 1910, stands on the south side of Elm Street adjacent to Crescent Avenue in the traditionally African-American neighborhood of Lincoln in Lanham, Prince George's County, Maryland. It is credited to Isaiah T. Hatton, an early African-American architect. Thomas Junius Calloway was a prominent lawyer, educator, civil servant, and African American activist until his death in 1930. He was vice president and general manager of the Lincoln Land Improvement Company and served as first principal of the Lincoln School. The house is a 2+1⁄2-story, wood-frame Foursquare residence with a poured concrete foundation. The house retains its original plan and is still in use as a residence.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

Glenn Dale Hospital was a tuberculosis sanatorium and isolation hospital in Glenn Dale, Maryland, in the United States. It is a large facility, consisting of 23 buildings on 216 acres (87 ha), that was built in 1934 and closed in 1981 due to asbestos.Though it is now closed and may be eventually demolished, for decades it was an important public health institution near Washington, DC. The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission Park Police patrol the hospital grounds regularly.

Good Luck is a ghost town and former census-designated place in Prince George's County, Maryland, United States.Established in 1672, the former settlement is currently occupied by the Goddard Space Flight Center and a residential community.

The Spacecraft Magnetic Test Facility, also known historically as the Attitude Control Test Facility, is an experimental spacecraft test facility at the Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland, United States. It was built in 1966 to allow the evaluation of magnetic movement in crewed and uncrewed spacecraft, and for the precision calibration of magnetometers used in space flight. The building is constructed of non-magnetic materials and contains a magnetic coil system that allows the cancellation of the Earth's magnetic field. This unique building was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1985.The facility is currently managed by the Goddard Mechanical Systems Division.

DuVal High School (DHS) is a comprehensive science and technology public magnet high school in the Seabrook census-designated place in unincorporated Prince George's County, Maryland, United States, with a Lanham postal address. Prior to 2010 the U.S. Census Bureau defined the area containing DuVal High as being within the Goddard CDP.The school serves: most of Seabrook CDP, all of Lanham CDP, portions of the Fairwood CDP, Glenn Dale, Landover, and Mitchellville CDPs, a portion of the City of Glenarden, and a small portion of the City of New Carrollton. It also serves a section of the former Goddard CDP.

Diyanet Center of America (DCA) is a non-profit organization funded by the Turkish government that is based in Lanham, Maryland, serving the needs of the Muslim community in the Washington metropolitan area. The center holds regular Friday congregational prayers, Ramadan dinners, religious holiday celebrations – including Mawlid – and various other social, cultural, and religious activities.The center benefits from its proximity to the nation's capital, various federal and state institutions, and schools. The complex consists of five main buildings, an underground parking garage, and a geothermal well field on a 15-acre site. The five buildings are a mosque constructed using 16th century classical Ottoman architecture, a cultural center building, a guest house, a fellowship hall with a restaurant and shops, and a recreational building housing a Turkish bath, an indoor pool, and a sports center.

Seabrook station is a station on the Northeast Corridor located in the unincorporated community of Seabrook, Maryland, United States. It is served by most weekday MARC Penn Line trains; all Amtrak and weekend MARC Penn Line trains pass through without stopping. It is located at 6221 Seabrook Road south of Lanham Severn Road (Maryland Route 564) in Seabrook, although MARC gives the location as being in Lanham, Maryland. The station is unstaffed and is located at the end of a dead-end street. Parking is available on the southeast corner of the official address, and also on the opposite side of the tracks on the northeast corner of Seabrook Road and Smith Avenue.

The Bowie Railroad Buildings comprise three small frame structures at the former Bowie train station, located at the junction of what is now the Northeast Corridor and the Pope's Creek Subdivision in the town center of Bowie, Maryland. The complex includes a single-story freight depot, a two-story interlocking tower, and an open passenger shed. The station was served by passenger trains from 1872 until 1989, when it was replaced by Bowie State station nearby. The buildings were restored in 1992 as the Bowie Railroad Museum and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.

Seabrook is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Prince George's County, Maryland, United States, located approximately 12 miles (19 km) east of Washington, D.C. Per the 2020 census, the population was 19,627. Prior to 2010, Seabrook was part of the Lanham-Seabrook census-designated place.

Fairview construction began around the year 1788 on an expanse of land owned by Baruch Duckett in Collington, Maryland (now the census-designated place of Fairwood). The house is a transitional federal/Greek revival design considered to be a significant part of the Prince George's County heritage. Fairview is a two-story stuccoed brick plantation house with flush end chimneys and a unique stepped gable at one gable end. Its Georgian plan interior features fine Federal style trim.
