Glenn Dale Hospital

The Thomas J. Calloway House, constructed in 1910, stands on the south side of Elm Street adjacent to Crescent Avenue in the traditionally African-American neighborhood of Lincoln in Lanham, Prince George's County, Maryland. It is credited to Isaiah T. Hatton, an early African-American architect. Thomas Junius Calloway was a prominent lawyer, educator, civil servant, and African American activist until his death in 1930. He was vice president and general manager of the Lincoln Land Improvement Company and served as first principal of the Lincoln School. The house is a 2+1⁄2-story, wood-frame Foursquare residence with a poured concrete foundation. The house retains its original plan and is still in use as a residence.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

Marietta is a historic house and former tobacco plantation located in Glenn Dale, Prince George's County, Maryland. On the National Register of Historic Places and the National Underground Railroad Network to Freedom, Marietta House Museum includes a federal era house, a cemetery, the original root cellar, and harness room, as well as Judge Gabriel Duvall's original law office building. The historic site sits on 25 acres of Marietta's original 690 acres. Today, visitors can walk the grounds and tour the plantation buildings and sites where free and enslaved people lived and labored.

The Country Club at Woodmore is a private country club, golf course, and gated community in Mitchellville, an unincorporated and affluent predominantly African-American community in Prince George's County, Maryland, United States. The nearby gated community, Woodmore, is also unincorporated. Founded as the Beaver Dam Golf and Country Club in 1923, it was renamed the Prince George's Golf and Country Club in 1941. In 1979 its golf course, designed by Donald Ross, was purchased by the Maryland National Capitol Park and Planning Commission, precipitating the move to its present location. The golf course was designed by Arnold Palmer, Ed Seay, and Algie Pulley, and opened in 1981. In 1994-1995, fourteen female members sued Woodmore Country Club in a discrimination case, winning full membership rights. They were represented by one of the members, Linda Hitt Thatcher of Mitchellville.Championship events hosted by Woodmore include the 2002 U.S. Senior Open qualifier and the Nationwide Tour's Melwood Prince George's County Open from 2007 to 2009.Famous members include convicted lobbyist Jack Abramoff.

Fairview construction began around the year 1788 on an expanse of land owned by Baruch Duckett in Collington, Maryland (now the census-designated place of Fairwood). The house is a transitional federal/Greek revival design considered to be a significant part of the Prince George's County heritage. Fairview is a two-story stuccoed brick plantation house with flush end chimneys and a unique stepped gable at one gable end. Its Georgian plan interior features fine Federal style trim.

It is served by most weekday MARC Penn Line trains; all Amtrak and weekend MARC Penn Line trains pass through without stopping. It is located at 6221 Seabrook Road south of Lanham Severn Road (Maryland Route 564) in Seabrook, although MARC gives the location as being in Lanham, Maryland. The station is unstaffed and is located at the end of a dead-end street. Parking is available on the southeast corner of the official address, and also on the opposite side of the tracks on the northeast corner of Seabrook Road and Smith Avenue.

The Newton White Mansion is a Neo-Georgian home was built in 1939 by architect William Lawrence Bottomley for Captain Newton H. White of the United States Navy. Captain White had a long and distinguished career, serving on the USS Yorktown, the USS Lexington, and, prior to World War II, as the first commanding officer of the USS Enterprise. At one time the centerpiece of a 586-acre (2.37 km2) dairy farm, the house and grounds (known locally as the Enterprise Estate) are now entirely surrounded by the Enterprise Golf Course.

It is part of the Prince George's County School System. Its principal is Dr. Gorman Brown. The school serves: most of the City of Glenarden, all of Lake Arbor CDP and Springdale CDP, portions of Landover CDP and Summerfield CDP, and most of the 2010-defined Mitchellville and Woodmore CDPs.Flowers High School's motto is "Mecca of Excellence." The school's Alma Mater, "A Mecca of Excellence," was written by R&B singer and 2004 graduate Patrice Jones and principal Helena Jones.
