Capitol Theater (Düsseldorf) is the largest theatre in Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.

On 9 March 2017, a suspect was detained after an axe attack that injured nine persons. The attack began on a train and continued in the main train station in Düsseldorf, Germany. Although the suspect's injuries were too severe to permit investigators to question him, authorities do not see a connection to terrorism.

Oberbilk is an inner-city urban borough in the south-east of the German city of Düsseldorf. The back exit of the Central Station leads to Oberbilk. The new District Court of Düsseldorf is located in Oberbilk since 2010, as is the main office of the Communal Library of Düsseldorf. Oberbilk is also home to the Mitsubishi Electric Halle, a concert arena with a capacity for 7,500. Oberbilk has a high population density, with 27,570 people living in just 4.38 km2. In 2002, the number of entering, exiting and transferring passengers was around 10,000–15,000 per working day. It is one of the six most highly frequented railway stations in the city of Düsseldorf. It belongs to the tariff area of the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr (Rhine-Ruhr Transport Association) and is located in fare zone 53: Düsseldorf-Süd.

Oststraße is a major underground station on the Düsseldorf Stadtbahn lines U70, U74, U75, U76, U77, U78 and U79 in Düsseldorf. The station lies on Oststraße in the district of Stadtmitte. The station was opened in 1988 and consists of two island platform with four rail tracks on three levels. On the surface, Charlottenstraße/Oststraße station is located within walking distance and offers connections to Tram line 707.

Düsseldorf-Friedrichstadt station is a through station in the district of Friedrichstadt in the city of Düsseldorf in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. The station was opened on 29 May 1988 on the new line opened by the Prussian state railways on 1 October 1891 between the Hamm Railway Bridge and Gerresheim as part of the construction of Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof. It has two platform tracks and it is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 5 station.The station is served by Rhine-Ruhr S-Bahn lines S 8 between Mönchengladbach and Wuppertal-Oberbarmen or Hagen, S 11 between Düsseldorf Airport and Bergisch Gladbach and S 28 between Mettmann Stadtwald or Wuppertal and Kaarster See, each every 20 minutes.

Kiefernstraße ( pronounced ['ki:fɐn'ʃtra:sə]) is a street in the Flingern-Süd district of Düsseldorf that became notorious in the 1980s for squatting. In the mid-1980s there were connections to the Baader–Meinhof Gang. Nowadays, the former squatters have regular leases.
