Colomiers (French pronunciation: ​[kɔlɔmje]; Occitan: Colomèrs) is a commune in the Haute-Garonne department in southwestern France. It is the largest suburb of the city of Toulouse, and is adjacent to it on the west side. It is a member of the Toulouse Métropole.

Airbus Industrie Flight 129 was an Airbus Industrie A330-321 test flight that ended in a crash on 30 June 1994 at Toulouse-Blagnac Airport, killing all seven people aboard. The last test flown was to certify the plane's takeoff capability with a single engine failure. It was the first fatal accident involving an Airbus A330 as well as the first hull loss of the type. It remained the only fatal accident involving an A330 until the crash of Air France Flight 447 on 1 June 2009.

The Château de Pibrac is a converted 16th century castle in the commune of Pibrac in the Haute-Garonne département of France. It was rebuilt in 1540 to replace the old manor house. The architect appears to be Dominique Bachelor. During the Revolution, in 1794, the sculptures were smashed and the tops of the towers destroyed. It was restored, with alterations, in 1887. The red brick structure, privately owned, has been listed since 1932 as a monument historique by the French Ministry of Culture.

Pibrac (French pronunciation: ​[pibʁak]) is a commune in the Haute-Garonne department in southwestern France, located 15 km (9.3 mi) west of Toulouse. It has recently grown thanks to the development of the aeroplane industry in the nearby town of Blagnac.

The canton of Tournefeuille is an administrative division of the Haute-Garonne department, southern France. Its borders were not modified at the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. Toulouse–Blagnac Airport (French: Aéroport de Toulouse–Blagnac) (IATA: TLS, ICAO: LFBO) is an international airport located 3.6 nautical miles (6.7 km; 4.1 mi) west northwest of Toulouse, partially in Blagnac, both communes of the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitanie region of France. In 2017, the airport served 9,264,611 passengers. As of April 2017, the airport features flights to 74 destinations, mostly in Europe and Northern Africa with a few additional seasonal long-haul connections.Both Airbus and ATR manufacture aircraft at nearby facilities and test them from the airport.

Aeroscopia is a French aerospace museum, located at the north-western edge of Toulouse, in the commune of Blagnac. It was opened on 14 January 2015.This museum notably hosts two Concorde airliners.
