Rookwood Hospital (Welsh: Ysbyty Rookwood) is a rehabilitation hospital situated in Llandaff, in the city of Cardiff in South Wales. It is managed by Cardiff and Vale University Health Board.

BBC Radio Wales is a Welsh radio station owned and operated by BBC Cymru Wales, a division of the BBC. It began broadcasting on 13 November 1978, replacing the 'Radio 4 Wales' opt-out service (previously the Welsh Home Service). Radio Wales broadcasts in English, whilst sister network Radio Cymru has Welsh language programming. Llandaff Rowing Club is a sport rowing club based on the River Taff in Llandaff, a district in the city of Cardiff, Wales. The club was founded in 1946 and is affiliated to the Welsh Amateur Rowing Association and to British Rowing.

Capel House (now known as The Gore) is a detached house at 25 Llantrisant Road in the Llandaff district of Cardiff. It was designed by the Welsh modernist architect Graham Brooks of Hird & Brooks and built in 1966. It is noted for its distinctive modernist use of painted white brick, exposed timber joints and a flat roof.Brooks was greatly influenced by Danish modernist architecture, and had designed his personal residence in a modernist style in 1964. Capel House was awarded the T. Alwyn Lloyd memorial Gold Medal for Architecture at the National Eisteddfod of Wales of 1968. Capel House was the model for Hird & Brooks's The Mount development of sixteen single-storey houses in Dinas Powys.It was featured in the Daily Mail Book of Bungalow Plans 1968/69, and Alan Powers' 2007 book Britain: Modern Architectures in History.The house received a Commendation in the Civic Trust Awards of 1966.

Waun-gron Park railway station serves the Fairwater area of Cardiff, Wales. Passenger services are currently operated by Transport for Wales. The station was opened in 1987 when a passenger service was introduced to the City Line, though the line itself opened in 1859 and was originally goods only. The station has an unusual staggered platform arrangement, one platform straddles the bridge over the roadway.Waun-gron Park is the nearest station to the large suburb of Ely which is 10 minutes' walk from the station along Western Avenue and over Ely Bridge.

Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Glantaf (Taff Bank Welsh Language Comprehensive School) is a Welsh-medium coeducational secondary school in Llandaff North, a district in the north of Cardiff, Wales; it is the largest of its kind in the country. Of the three Welsh-medium secondary schools serving Cardiff, it was the first to be established; the others are Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Plasmawr and Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Bro Edern. Although all students speak Welsh and normally have received Welsh-language primary education, 68% (as of 2005) come from homes where Welsh is not the first language.

Fairwater railway station is a railway station serving the Fairwater area of Cardiff, Wales. Passenger services are currently operated by Transport for Wales. The station was opened in 1987 when a passenger service was introduced to the City Line. The line on which it is situated on was originally goods only and was opened by the Taff Vale Railway in 1859 to serve the docks at Penarth.

11 High Street, also known as 'Mrs Pratchett's' sweet shop, is a two-storey residential building in Llandaff, Cardiff, Wales. It was Catherine Morgan's Confectioner and Tobacconist shop in the early 20th century. It was converted into a Chinese restaurant known as The Great Wall around 2009. It is currently in use as a self-catering holiday let. The building is not a listed building, unlike others in High Street, such as St Andrew, St Cross, 6 High Street and 19 High Street. The building is best known for where The Great Mouse Plot of 1923 occurred, where Roald Dahl and four other school-boys played a prank on the sweet shop owner, by putting a dead mouse in a gobstopper jar. At the time of the prank the shop was owned by Catherine Morgan, although in his book Boy: Tales of Childhood her pseudonym is Mrs Pratchett, and the shop was 'Mrs Pratchett's sweet shop'. The sweet shop inspired Dahl's stories such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Twits and Matilda. In September 2009 a blue plaque was unveiled by his widow, Felicity, and his son Theo, on one of his favourite sweet shops.

St Padarn's Institute came into being in 2016. Until then the site belonged to St Michael's College, an Anglican theological college in Llandaff, Wales. St Michael's college was founded in Aberdare in 1892, and was situated in Llandaff from 1907 until 2016. Among its many alumni was the poet R. S. Thomas. The original building on the site was a house constructed for himself by John Prichard. After his death, that building was incorporated into the newly-founded St Michael's College, which was built mainly to the designs of F. R. Kempson between 1905-1907. In the late 1950s, a chapel was built by George Pace. The college had significant financial problems in the early 21st century and was eventually closed. The site was purchased by the Church in Wales in 2016 to be used as a residential training college for its full time ministers.

6 High Street is an 18th-century building in Llandaff, Cardiff, Wales. It was possibly built as a one and a half storey building in the early 18th century of thick rubble masonry and in c. 1840 was extended to a three-storey building. It is thought to have been part of the old farm on The Cathedral Green, Llandaff, which was demolished in the early 19th century. Today the building is a teahouse. The building is a Grade II listed structure and it was listed because it is "Included as a largely C18 house and for its group value with the other listed buildings around The Cathedral Green and on the High Street."

St Cross is a 19th-century residential domestic building in Llandaff, Cardiff, Wales. The building is a two-storey Grade II listed structure and it was listed because it is "Included as an unaltered design by Ewan Christian and for its group value with the other listed buildings around The Cathedral Green and on the High Street". The garden wall of St Cross is also a Grade II structure.
