Blue Job Mountain

The Farmington Town Pound is a historic animal pound in Farmington, New Hampshire. It is located on the north side of Pound Road near its intersection with Ten Rod Road. Built in 1823, it is one of the best-preserved 19th-century pounds in southeastern New Hampshire, and is now maintained by the Farmington Historical Society. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.

The former Austin Cate Academy (now garrisoned by the 195th Regiment (RTI), New Hampshire Army National Guard), plus the town offices, post office, and Austin Hall (Strafford Historical Society) are all in Center Strafford. The village has a separate ZIP code (03815) from the rest of the town of Strafford, including Bow Lake Village.

The Strafford Union Academy is a historic school building at the junction of New Hampshire Routes 202A and 126 in Center Strafford, New Hampshire. Built in 1833, it is one of the best-preserved early 19th-century academy buildings in the state. The building, now maintained by the local historical society, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Baxter Lake is a 302.1-acre (1.223 km2) water body located in Strafford County in eastern New Hampshire, United States, in the town of Farmington and the city of Rochester. It is part of the Cocheco River watershed, a tributary of the Piscataqua River. Lake access is from the state launching ramp off Four Rod Road. Once clear of the island, winds are very steady for small boat sailing. Much of the east shoreline is undeveloped. The lake is classified as a warmwater fishery, with observed species including smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, chain pickerel, and horned pout.

The Mad River is a 5.2-mile-long (8.4 km) river in eastern New Hampshire in the United States. It is a tributary of the Cochecho River, part of the Piscataqua River watershed leading to the Atlantic Ocean. The river is located entirely in the town of Farmington. It rises in Nubble Pond, between Nubble Mountain and Hussey Mountain, and flows northwest, then northeast, reaching the Cochecho near the town center of Farmington. The river drops more than 500 feet (150 m) over its 5-mile (8 km) route, in places falling over scenic ledges.

It is a tributary of the Cochecho River, part of the Piscataqua River watershed leading to the Atlantic Ocean. The river begins at Coldrain Pond in New Durham, New Hampshire, 4 miles (6 km) east of Lake Winnipesaukee. Flowing south through Club Pond, the river turns southeast and descends to Farmington, where it joins the Cochecho. New Hampshire Route 11 parallels the river for most of its southeasterly course.

Built in 1875 for a congregation founded in 1819, it is the oldest church building in the town, and a distinctive example of Gothic Revival architecture designed by New Hampshire native Frederick N. Footman. The church was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2018, and the New Hampshire State Register of Historic Places in 2017. The congregation is affiliated with the United Church of Christ.

Built in 1819, it is considered the mother church of the Free Will Baptist movement, although it was not built until ten years after the death of founder Benjamin Randall. New Durham is where Randall rose to prominence, and where the church's teachings and governance were organized in 1780. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

It is a tributary of the Cocheco River, part of the Piscataqua River watershed leading to the Atlantic Ocean. The river is located entirely in the town of Farmington. It rises north of Hussey Mountain and Chesley Mountain and flows east to the Cocheco, dropping nearly 500 feet (150 m) in elevation over its length.
