Totenstein

Limbach Municipal Church is a church in Limbach-Oberfrohna in Saxony (Germany), which was built in the 16th century. In 1811 it was transformed into a municipal church and in 1894 it was enlarged. In 1899 its tower was renewed after the old one was destroyed by lightning. It has a height of 29 metres. On January 25, 2009, a speeding car crashed into the roof of the church, whereby the driver was severely hurt. The police reported that the car skipped thirty meters of ground and hit the church in a height of seven meters.

Splash! is one of Europe's biggest hip hop and reggae festivals. It first took place in 1998, in the inner city of Chemnitz, Germany. The next year, the location of the festival changed to the Oberrabenstein reservoir near the city, where it remained through 2006. In 2007 and 2008, the festival was held on the Pouch peninsula in Bitterfeld. In 2009, the festival moved to the Ferropolis in Gräfenhainichen, which remains the official site. In the early years, there were two stages; one each for hip-hop and reggae. In 2006, the festival extended to six stages and four party tents. In addition to hip-hop and drum and bass DJs, the tents also house dancehall and reggae sound systems, a graffiti contest and ITF matches. The name "Splash" hints at both the waterside location, and the phrase "to make a splash".

Rabenstein Castle (German:Burg Rabenstein) is the smallest Medieval castle in Saxony. It is located in the Chemnitz suburb of Rabenstein and belongs to the Chemnitz Castle Hill Museum.

Wüstenbrand station is a station on the Dresden–Werdau railway in the south west of the German State of Saxony. In the past, it was a terminus for the secondary lines to Limbach-Oberfrohna and Neuoelsnitz. Currently, it serves as a through station.

The Chemnitz Zoo (German: Tierpark Chemnitz) is a zoo in the city Chemnitz in Sachsen, Germany. The Zoo was opened in 1964, and covers 1 000 animals from 200 species, living on 10 hectares (24.7 acres). During the first decenniums most species reflected the nature of the Soviet Union, and later the zoo reconcepted into breeding of endangered species. In 2014 The Zoo had 178.233 visitors. In 2004, a lion wounded a female zookeeper, and in 2006 another female zookeeper was killed by a leopard. After the female Amur tiger Taiga died in the fall of 2016, the male Jantar lived alone in the tiger enclosure. In December 2017, a second Amur tiger, Wolodja from the Nuremberg Zoo, moved into the facility again. However, the already 19-year-old Jantar was euthanized just a few weeks later.

Hartmannsdorf (Hartmannsdorf bei Chemnitz) is a small municipality in the district Mittweida, Saxony, Germany, near the town Chemnitz. As of 2020 it has a population of 4,421.

The Kreuz Chemnitz (German: Autobahnkreuz Chemnitz) is a partial cloverleaf interchange with a direct link east–south and vice versa in the German state of Saxony. The roads crossing in the interchange are the A 4 and the A 72.

Pfaffenberg is a mountain in Hohenstein-Ernstthal in the state of Saxony, southeastern Germany. It is part of the Saxon Uplands. In the 1860s, the Royal Saxon Triangulation operated station number 16 on the Pfaffenberg. The triangulation point is still visible.

Erlbach-Kirchberg is a former municipality in the district Erzgebirgskreis, in Saxony, Germany. Since 1 January 2013, it is part of the town Lugau.

Mühlau is a municipality in the district of Mittelsachsen, in Saxony, Germany. Mühlau lies in the arch mountain foothills approximately 3 kilometers to the north of Limbach-Oberfrohna, and 15 kilometers northwest of Chemnitz. The settlers of Mühlau originally came from Mehlem (currently part of Bonn) on the Rhine. The local name Mühlau is derived from the former home town.
