The Wilbor House

Old Chatham is a hamlet in the northeastern quadrant of the town of Chatham, located in Columbia County, New York, United States. It is one of the earliest settlements in the town and was originally named Chatham.The center of Old Chatham is marked by a few businesses around the intersection of the Albany Turnpike and County Rt. 13. These businesses include the United States Post Office for area code 12136, the Old Chatham Country Store (which includes a cafe/restaurant), and Jackson's Old Chatham House (another restaurant). The Old Chatham Sheepherding Company is also located in Old Chatham. The Wilbor House, also known as The Thompson Farm, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1997. Old Chatham is also the headquarters of Blass Communications. The town hosts a parade and sing-along that attracts over 1,000 people annually.

Powell House, named after Elsie K. Powell Sr., is the Quaker conference and retreat center of the New York Yearly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends, located in Old Chatham, New York.

John S. Williams House and Farm, also known as Old Chatham Sheepherding Farm and Inn, is a historic home and farm designated a national historic district and located at Chatham in Columbia County, New York. The district includes seven contributing buildings. They are: the main house, a farm employee cottage, another cottage, a stone tool shed (originally a smoke house), and three small barns / garages. The main house is a two-story, frame building with a center hall plan. The house dates to the about 1770, but was extensively enlarged and remodelled in 1935–1936 in the Colonial Revival style, under direction by New York City architects Polhemus & Coffin.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.

Riders Mills Historic District is a national historic district located at Chatham in Columbia County, New York. The district includes 20 contributing buildings, eight contributing structures, and one contributing site. It includes the remnants of the one thriving hamlet of Riders Mills, located along the Kinderhook Creek and largely wiped out by a flood in 1869. Most of the buildings are residential and date to the early to mid-19th century and reflect a variety of popular architectural styles such as Georgian and Greek Revival. In addition to residences, the district includes a schoolhouse and bridge. There are also eight known archaeological sites, mostly the foundations of mills and residences.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

Spengler Bridge, named after Henry Cones Spengler (26 Feb 1847 - 25 Aug 1911), Chatham County Highway Commissioner, is a historic Pratt Truss bridge located at Chatham in Columbia County, New York. It was built in 1880 by the Morse Bridge Company of Youngstown, Ohio. It is composed of two Pratt trusses with counters, each 138 feet in length. It measures 16 feet wide and crosses the Kinderhook Creek.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

Rowe-Lant Farm is a historic home and farm complex located at East Chatham in Columbia County, New York. The farmhouse was built about 1790 and is an L-shaped dwelling with a 2-story, brick main block and 1+1⁄2-story brick and frame wing. It is five bays wide and two bays deep with a gable roof. Also on the property is a large timber-frame barn, garage and horse barn, and large tractor barn.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.

East Chatham is a hamlet located partly in the town of Chatham and partly in the town of Canaan, in the state of New York, United States. It is located at the crossroads of a railroad, Interstate 90, and the Taconic State Parkway. East Chatham is the site of Vovcha Tropa, a campsite owned by Plast, the Ukrainian Scouting Organization. This camp is attended by several hundred scouts. The Rowe-Lant Farm was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.

James G. Van Valkenburgh House is a historic home located at Chatham in Columbia County, New York. It was built in 1843 and is a Greek Revival–style residence. It is a large, 2-story, five-bay center-entrance, two-bay-deep, frame dwelling with a large 1+1⁄2-story service wing. The main entry features a single-story open porch with four fluted Doric order columns and a deep entablature. Also on the property are a garage, two barns, and a well house.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

New Concord Historic District is a national historic district located at New Concord in Columbia County, New York. The district includes 31 contributing buildings, one contributing site, and eight contributing structures. It encompasses mostly domestic properties and related outbuildings, most all of frame construction and the majority built in the early- to mid-19th century.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.
