Skullerud (station)

Bogerud is a station on Østensjø Line (line 3) of the Oslo Metro. The station is located between Bøler and Skullerud, 10.2 kilometers (6.3 mi) from Stortinget. The station was opened 26 November 1967. Helge Abrahamsen was the station's architect.The Bogerud neighborhood is a residential area, developed mostly during the 1960s. Bogerud station was the scene of a murder in 2002.

Although the subway system was formally opened by the king at Jernbanetorget on 22 May 1966, the king and mayor travelled the line to Bergkrystallen where there was a ceremonial bouquet presentation in front of a large audience.The building of more residential apartments on the station has met local resistance. In 2007, a proposal was made to build some terraced housing and a kindergarten on the station.

The road Utmarkveien passes directly above the station by means of a road bridge. Criticism has been raised over the station's dilapidated condition, but funds for renovation went to other subway stations in 2005.

Construction of the station started in 1995, which was taken into use on 24 November 1997, when it became the terminal station of the line—following a 2.4 kilometres (1.5 mi) extension from Skullerud. The extension cost 215 million kr to build, and most of the section is in tunnels. The station is built in concrete, wood and stone, and cost NOK 35 million. It is served by line 3, in addition to being an important bus terminal for the borough, including a feeder service to Bjørndal. Travel time along the 13.6-kilometre (8.5 mi) section to the city center is 24 minutes. In 2001–02, the station had 2,077 daily boarding passengers. The station serves the surrounding residential area, as well as an adjacent shopping center. South of the station is a turning line for trains.

Lambertseter stadion is a multi-purpose stadium in the Oslo borough of Nordstrand. It is currently used by the football team Manglerud Star for their home games. The pitch surrounded by a running track, Lambertseter stadion was used as the main track and field stadium in Oslo while Bislett stadion was renovated in 2004. The stadium has a small clubhouse/changing area, and some good floodlights. There is no seating, and only a small area of terracing along one side of the ground.

Østensjø consists of the suburbs of Bøler, Abildsø, Bogerud, Skullerud, Ulsrud, Hellerud, Trasop, Oppsal and Manglerud, all located around Lake Østensjøvannet. The Østensjøvannet area has been a protected wildlife reserve since 1992. Østensjø has traditionally been a Norwegian middle and working class borough, compared to the more immigrant populated boroughs in Oslo East End, like Alna, Grorud, Stovner and Søndre Nordstrand. The club IL Manglerud Star which is known for ice hockey and football is located here.

Abildsø () is a neighborhood in the borough Østensjø in Oslo, Norway. It is located south of Manglerud and Ryen, east of Lambertseter, north of Langerud and east of Bøler the lake Østensjøvannet. During the late 1800s, Abildsø was the site of Minna og Frederik Husgjerningsskole, a school for young farm girls. The school was operated by education pioneer, Minna Wetlesen and her husband Frederik Wetlesen

Østensjøvannet (pronunciation ) is a lake located in the Østensjø borough in Oslo, Norway. It is well known for the wide variety of birds and other wildlife that can be found there. It is currently a wildlife preserve, though urban development posed a serious threat to the lake and its environs during the 1980s and early 1990s.
