Sriram College of Arts and Science (Tamil: ஸ்ரீராம் கலை மற்றும் அறிவியல் கல்லூரி) is a college in Perumalpattu, Tiruvallur Dt., Tamil Nadu, India. Science and arts courses offered include BSc (Bachelor of Science), BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application), MSc (Master of Science), M.S.W, B.Com. and B.B.A.

Sriram Engineering College (Tamil: ஸ்ரீராம் பொறியியல் கல்லூரி) is an engineering institution situated in Perumalpattu, Chennai City, Tiruvallur Dt., Tamil Nadu, India. The college is affiliated to Anna University Chennai.Established in 1993 by Thiru M.E. Devarajan (founder and chairman of Sriram Educational Trust), this college is one of the oldest engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu. It has produced around 9000 engineering graduates getting placed in various companies.

Bhajarang Engineering College is an Engineering College that is located in Ayathur, Thiruvallur (Near Veppampattu railway station). This college is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. Bhajarang Engineering College established during 2001 – 2002 has been approved by the All India council for Technical Education, New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. BEC is established under BHAJARANG EDUCATIONAL & SOCIAL TRUST, founded by Mr.M.G.Baskaran, as its Chairman and Managing Trustee. Bhajarang Educational & Social Trust, a Telugu Linguistic Minority Trust having its registered office at No. 14,3 rd Main Road, Krishnapuram, Thiruninravur, Thiruvallur District – 602 024, was started to establish Engineering Colleges, Arts Colleges, Medical Colleges and other institutions for the sole benefit of the Telugu Linguistic Minority people. Meritorious students of other communities and religions are also admitted subject to the rules of the Government of Tamil Nadu.

Tiruninravur Lake or Tiruninravur aeri, is a lake spread over 330 hectares in Tiruninravur, Chennai, India. It is one of the largest lakes in the western part of the city. In 2017, a proposal was sent to the government to restore the lake at a cost of ₹ 50 million.

Sevvapet Road railway station is one of railway stations of Chennai Central–Arakkonam section of the Chennai Suburban Railway Network. It serves the neighbourhoods of Sevvapet, Thiruvur, and Thozhuvur and is located 35 km (22 mi) west of Chennai Central. It has an elevation of 38 m (125 ft) above sea level.

Sri Bakthavatsala Perumal temple is a Hindu temple, located at Thirunindravur, a western suburb of Chennai, India, is dedicated to the Hindu deity Vishnu. Constructed in the Dravidian style of architecture, the temple is glorified in the Divya Prabandha, the early medieval Tamil canon of the Azhwar saints from the 6th–9th centuries CE. It is one of the 108 Divyadesam dedicated to Vishnu, who is worshipped as Bhaktavatsala Perumal and his consort Lakshmi as Ennai Petra Thayar. The temple is believed to have been built by the Pallavas of the late 8th century CE, with later contributions from Medieval Cholas and Vijayanagar kings. A granite wall surrounds the temple, enclosing all the shrines and two bodies of water. There is a four-tiered rajagopuram, the temple's gateway tower, in the temple. Bhatavatsala Perumal is believed to have appeared to Kubera. Six daily rituals and three yearly festivals are held at the temple, of which the Krishna Janmasthami festival, celebrated during the Tamil month of Aavani (August–September), being the most prominent. The temple is maintained and administered by the Hindu Religious and Endowment Board of the Government of Tamil Nadu.

Sri Irudhayaleeswarar sivan temple is a Hindu temple, located at Thirunindravur, Chennai, India. This temple has a trustee which was formed in the late 1920s by a leading industrialist Mr.P.S.Saathappa Chettiar from Coimbatore. This trustee is maintained by his successors.

Pakkam is a village which is located in Chennai in the Thiruvallur District in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is situated around 34 km from Chennai. Pakkam comes under Chennai Metropolitan Area and it is very close to Thirunindravur which has frequent train services. Pakkam is an agricultural village with many temples, including Anjaneyar Temple, Sri Ellaiamman Temple, Vinayagar Temple, Sri Balambikai Samedha Thazhuvakozhundeeswarar (Sivan) Temple and Sri Sridevi Boodevi Samedha Kariamanicka Perumal Temple. A very old Chola Period temple is Aanadhieswar Temple, built 1500 years ago, for Guru Talam. Kallaa Mrram Lord Dhakshnamurthi, and Guru Parikara Thalam are available in this area.

Prathyusha Engineering College was founded in 2001 by Shri P. Raja Rao, and is located in Tamil Nadu, India. It offers engineering courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The college is affiliated with Anna University.

Nemilichery railway station is one of the railway stations of the Chennai Central–Arakkonam section of the Chennai Suburban Railway Network. It serves the neighbourhood of Nemilichery, Thiruninravur a suburb of Chennai, and is located 27 km west of Chennai Central railway station. It has an elevation of 32.05 m above sea level. Presently, Nemilichery, with three temporary shelters, is only a halt station and not a full-fledged one. However, all the 71 pairs of slow suburban trains halt at the station.
