Amir Abad

The Islamic Azad University (IAU; Persian: دانشگاه آزاد اسلامی, Dāneshgāh-e Āzād-e Eslāmi) is a private university system headquartered in Tehran, Iran. It is one of the largest comprehensive systems of universities, colleges, and community colleges in the world. Besides Iran, the university has international satellite branches in countries such as Afghanistan, the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon and the United Kingdom.

Tehran International Tower (Persian: برج بین‌المللی تهران) is a 56-story residential tower in Tehran, Iran. It is the tallest residential building in Iran, and the only one to meet the definition of a skyscraper.It is located north of Yusef Abad and Amir Abad districts, close to Kurdistan and Qasem Soleimani Expressway.

A.S.P. Towers (also known as Kooy-e Nobonyad-e Vanak, Persian: ساختمانهای آ.اس.پ) are amongst the most well-known buildings in Tehran, Iran. They're located in the neighbourhood of Amir Abad and Yusef Abad in the corner of Kordestan and Hakim Highway. They were among the first residential high-rises in Iran and have housed some of the most well-known Iranian figures over the years, including Amir-Abbas Hoveyda, a prime-minister under Mohammad Reza Pahlavi. The construction was carried out by A.S.P construction company. The construction is believed to have started in mid-1960s. The complex consists of three buildings which are named A, B and C. The building named A is the greatest and the most luxurious in the complex.The panoramic view of the three buildings includes the Alborz Mountain Range and the Damavand peak to the east and the Milad Tower to the west. They have been a landmark of Tehran and a major point in the city's skyline since being completed in 1976, The towers were inaugurated by the then Empress of Iran Farah Diba in the same year.

The Iranology Foundation is a scientific and research institute in Iran and Iranian studies is the main field of its activities. The Foundation's studies and researches are all topics and issues related to various manifestations of Iranian culture and civilization. The institute was established in 1997 under the supervision of the Presidential Administration of Iran.

Rah-e Danesh Synagogue is a Jewish congregation and synagogue, located near Yusefabad Street in Tehran, Iran.

Milad Hospital is one of the largest specialized and subspecialized hospitals in Iran. This hospital is a complementary health service provider in Iran's Social Security organization (SSO) chain of hospitals. Milad hospital currently employs more than 5600 specialists and subspecialists of various fields.

Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences was inaugurated as the Nursing High School in 1968, and became a medical college in 1975. After the Islamic Revolution, it was further developed into the Medical University in 1985. The University has 521 academic staff and 5500 students studying at all levels of medical fields at its faculties, and doing their practical training and placement in Teaching Hospitals, and prepare them for the job market. The university regulates and coordinates the activities of medical education, training and research in healthcare profession throughout Kermanshah Province. In addition to teaching and treatment, it has also been dealing with such areas as research and innovations in order to improve allied health sciences. Among the research activities, the university mainly focuses on higher research programs in Basic Medical Sciences, Allied Health Sciences and Nursing. This university has eight Vice-Chancellors, eight faculties, and seventeen Hospitals. eight of these Hospitals are in Kermanshah city, and the others are located in its towns as follows: Islam Abad, Paveh, Javanroud, Sarpole’ Zohab, Sonqor, Sahneh, Qasre-Shirin, Kangavar, Gilan Qarb and Harsin. Based on the vote of 222nd meeting of the Development Council of Universities of Medical Sciences on March 18, 2013, Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences was promoted to type I university. It was also recognized as the national pole of community-oriented medicine at the same year.

Valiasr Street (Persian: خیابان ولی‌عصر), formerly known as the Pahlavi Street (Persian: خیابان پهلوی), is a tree-lined street in Tehran, dividing the metropolis into western and eastern parts which were built in 1922 to 1927 respectively, considering the end of asphalt plan it ended in 1933. It is considered one of Tehran's main thoroughfares and commercial centers. It is also the longest street in the Middle East, and was reported as one of the longest in the world by former BBC (now Al Jazeera) journalist Rageh Omaar during the television documentary Welcome to Tehran.The street was built by Reza Shah Pahlavi's order and called the Pahlavi Street. After the 1979 Islamic Revolution the street's name was changed initially to Mossadeq Street (in reference to the former nationalist prime minister Mohammad Mossadegh) and later to Valiasr (a reference to the 12th Shi'ite Imam). This vibrant, hub-like street is lined with many shops, restaurants, parks, and cultural centers situated along this long avenue.

The Yusef Abad Synagogue (Persian: کنیسه یوسف آباد Kanise-ye Yusef Ābād, Hebrew: בית הכנסת יוסף-אבד) is the main synagogue of Tehran, Iran. It is also one of the largest synagogues of the city. The official name of the Yusef Abad Synagogue is Sukkot Shalom Synagogue. The original building that housed the synagogue was completed in the early 1950s. With the growth of the Jewish population of the capital especially in the Yusef Abad neighborhood, it was decided that a newer building was needed. With the help of local community leaders headed by Avraham Yusian, the construction of the new facade was completed in October 1965. The doors of the new synagogue were opened to the public on Rosh Hashanah 5726 (Hebrew calendar).On February 8, 2003, President Mohammad Khatami visited Yusef Abad Synagogue becoming the first President of Iran to visit a synagogue since the Islamic Revolution. Chief Rabbi Yousef Hamadani Cohen, Haroun Yashayaei, and Morris Motamed attended and represented the Jewish community of Iran. For the event, Chief Rabbi Yosef Hamadani Cohen led the opening the Torah scroll ark and the reciting of prayers.

Daneshgah-e Tarbiat Modares Metro Station is a station in Tehran Metro Line 7&6 It is located on the intersection of Chamran Expressway and Jalal-e-Ale Ahmad Expressway, near its namesake Tarbiat Modares University.

Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS) (Persian: دانشگاه علوم پزشکی و خدمات بهداشتی درمانی ایران, Danushgah-e 'lum-e Pezeshki-ye vâ Xedâmat-e Behedashti-ye Dârmani-ye Iran) is a high ranked medical university in Iran. According to "Times Impact Ranking 2019", IUMS has been chosen as 1st university in the nation & 41st in the world, Also 1st in the nation & 55th in 2020. Located in Tehran, it was founded in 1974 under the name The Imperial Medical Center, and designed by William Pereira and Associates. The school was state operated, and its current reincarnation trains 9,000 students in the medical field. Its students rank among the very top 1% of Iran's students in the national ranking entrance exams for universities. The University operates 11 schools (Medicine, Nursing & Midwifery, Public Health, Health Management and Information Sciences, Mental Health & Behavioral Sciences, Rehabilitation Sciences, Advanced technologies in Medicine, Allied Medical Sciences and Medicine, dentistry and Pharmacy in its International Campus), two centers, two institutes, twenty-nine research centers, seventeen teaching and fifteen non-teaching hospitals in Tehran. IUMS is the activist & well-known medical college in the nation for participation in development of cognitive sciences & related technologies. "Brain & Cognition Clinic(BCC)" is first and only center established for expansion of cognitive sciences by their clinical application. Also, Iran psychiatric hospital has been mobilized by cognitive lab. "DBS Project" is a national plan which was recommended by cognitive center depended to Iran president office; This project develops manufacturing of battery & electrode in deep brain stimulation. Hazrate-rasoul medical center as the national center for DBS surgeries in participation with Sharif university of technology, university of Tehran & Amirkabir university of technology, altogether try to make country independent in DBS.
