Milad Hospital

Tehran Milad Tower Metro Station (Also transcribed as Borj-e Milad-e Tehran) is a station in Tehran Metro Line 7. It is located on the grounds of the International Trade and Convention Center of Tehran around Milad Tower and next to Milad Hospital. The station is currently the second to last station of Line 7 towards the northwest.

Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS) (Persian: دانشگاه علوم پزشکی و خدمات بهداشتی درمانی ایران, Danushgah-e 'lum-e Pezeshki-ye vâ Xedâmat-e Behedashti-ye Dârmani-ye Iran) is a high ranked medical university in Iran. According to "Times Impact Ranking 2019", IUMS has been chosen as 1st university in the nation & 41st in the world, Also 1st in the nation & 55th in 2020. Located in Tehran, it was founded in 1974 under the name The Imperial Medical Center, and designed by William Pereira and Associates. The school was state operated, and its current reincarnation trains 9,000 students in the medical field. Its students rank among the very top 1% of Iran's students in the national ranking entrance exams for universities. The University operates 11 schools (Medicine, Nursing & Midwifery, Public Health, Health Management and Information Sciences, Mental Health & Behavioral Sciences, Rehabilitation Sciences, Advanced technologies in Medicine, Allied Medical Sciences and Medicine, dentistry and Pharmacy in its International Campus), two centers, two institutes, twenty-nine research centers, seventeen teaching and fifteen non-teaching hospitals in Tehran. IUMS is the activist & well-known medical college in the nation for participation in development of cognitive sciences & related technologies. "Brain & Cognition Clinic(BCC)" is first and only center established for expansion of cognitive sciences by their clinical application. Also, Iran psychiatric hospital has been mobilized by cognitive lab. "DBS Project" is a national plan which was recommended by cognitive center depended to Iran president office; This project develops manufacturing of battery & electrode in deep brain stimulation. Hazrate-rasoul medical center as the national center for DBS surgeries in participation with Sharif university of technology, university of Tehran & Amirkabir university of technology, altogether try to make country independent in DBS.

Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences was inaugurated as the Nursing High School in 1968, and became a medical college in 1975. After the Islamic Revolution, it was further developed into the Medical University in 1985. The University has 521 academic staff and 5500 students studying at all levels of medical fields at its faculties, and doing their practical training and placement in Teaching Hospitals, and prepare them for the job market. The university regulates and coordinates the activities of medical education, training and research in healthcare profession throughout Kermanshah Province. In addition to teaching and treatment, it has also been dealing with such areas as research and innovations in order to improve allied health sciences. Among the research activities, the university mainly focuses on higher research programs in Basic Medical Sciences, Allied Health Sciences and Nursing. This university has eight Vice-Chancellors, eight faculties, and seventeen Hospitals. eight of these Hospitals are in Kermanshah city, and the others are located in its towns as follows: Islam Abad, Paveh, Javanroud, Sarpole’ Zohab, Sonqor, Sahneh, Qasre-Shirin, Kangavar, Gilan Qarb and Harsin. Based on the vote of 222nd meeting of the Development Council of Universities of Medical Sciences on March 18, 2013, Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences was promoted to type I university. It was also recognized as the national pole of community-oriented medicine at the same year.

The Milad Tower (Persian: برج میلاد, Borj-e Milād) (lit. Birth Tower), also known as the Tehran Tower (برج تهران Borj-e Tehrān), is a multi-purpose tower in Tehran, Iran. It is the sixth-tallest tower and the world's first telecommunication tower in terms of the usage area of the top structure and the tallest tower in Iran and the 24th-tallest freestanding structure in the world. The construction of this tower took about 11 years and 7 months It is located between Shahrak-e Gharb and the district of Gisha, standing at 435 meters from the base to the tip of the antenna. The head consists of a large pod with 12 floors, the roof of which is at 315 meters. The tower is a part of the International Trade and Convention Center of Tehran, which also includes a five-star hotel, a convention center, a world trade center and an IT park.

The Iranology Foundation is a scientific and research institute in Iran and Iranian studies is the main field of its activities. The Foundation's studies and researches are all topics and issues related to various manifestations of Iranian culture and civilization. The institute was established in 1997 under the supervision of the Presidential Administration of Iran.

Shahrak-e Gharb or Gharb Town (Persian: شهرک غرب – Šahrak e Gharb, "West Town"), also known as Qods Town (Persian: شهرک قدس – Šahrak e Qods, "Quds (Jerusalem) Town"), is a planned town built as a massive project of modern, luxury apartment buildings and villas in the north-western part of Tehran, Iran. Originally built based on the model of upscale American suburbs in 1961, today it is considered one of the most affluent neighborhoods of Tehran. It is one of the largest districts of Tehran, including easy access to expressways including Chamran Expressway, Hemmat Expressway, Niayesh Expressway, Sheikh Fazl-allah Nouri Expressway, and Yadegar-e-Emam Expressway, proximity to four major hospitals, as well as three large and famous shopping centers, numerous parks, cinema and cultural centers, police and fire stations, and post offices. Around the 1980s, there was only one central shopping center there, named Bāzārče ("mini-bazaar"). Construction of the Golestan Shopping Center began a few years after the Iran–Iraq War. It was designed by Jordan Gruzen Architects in 1978 and built by another American company by the name Starrett, although some sections were never completed. Today, several modern shopping centers including Golestan, Iran Zamin, and Milad-e-Noor are located in this area. The tallest tower of Iran, Milad Tower, which stands 435m high from base to tip of the antenna, is located just outside the district.An international school is located nearby, within the town, and a second is minutes away in Sa'adat Abad. Because of the eastward current of the air in Tehran and its constant purification by the adjacent mountains, this town is less polluted compared to other northern parts of the city. These and many more advantages have made this area a prime and pleasant location for living, attracting many foreign temporary residents, diplomats and expatriates.

It is one of the largest comprehensive systems of universities, colleges, and community colleges in the world. Besides Iran, the university has international satellite branches in countries such as Afghanistan, the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon and the United Kingdom.

Amir Abad (Persian: امیرآباد) is a district in the city of Tehran, Iran. The main street of Amir Abad is called Kargar Avenue and is one of the longest streets of Tehran, extending from Southern Tehran's Rah Ahan Square to Northern Amir Abad. The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran is headquartered north of this district. University of Tehran has large parts of its engineering, economics, physics departments, and physical education facilities, as well as the majority of its student dormitories located here. Laleh Park is in the middle of North Kargar street. Shariati Hospital is also located on this street.

Meydan-e San'at Metro Station is a station in Tehran Metro Line 7. It is located on the northern edge of San'at Square, in Shahrak-e Gharb area of Tehran. It is the current northwestern terminus of Line 7.

The Baghiyyatollah al-Azam Military Hospital (Persian: بیمارستان بقیةالله) is a military hospital in Mulla Sadra Street in Vanak, Tehran, Iran. The hospital has ties with the Baqiyatallah University of Medical Sciences.
