Muppberg

Neustadt bei Coburg (also written Neustadt b. Coburg) is a town in the district of Coburg in northern Bavaria, Germany. It is situated 15 km northeast of Coburg, as its name indicates.

Sonneberg in Thuringia, Germany, is the seat of the Sonneberg district. It is in the Franconian south of Thuringia, neighboring its Upper Franconian twin town Neustadt bei Coburg. Sonneberg became known as the "world toy city", and is home to the German Toy Museum and the Sonneberg observatory, founded in 1925. The Thuringian Slate Mountains border the city, with the Franconian Forest to the east.

Sonneberg (Thür) Hauptbahnhof is a railway station for the city of Sonneberg in the German state of Thuringia and is on the Coburg–Sonneberg line. The station was built as part of the construction of the Hinterland Railway and still plays a central role in public transport of Sonneberg and the surrounding area. It was built in 1907 to replace the old station (the old building still exists), which was built in 1857 and 1858 by the Werra Railway Company (German: Werra-Eisenbahn-Gesellschaft), together with the single-track Coburg–Sonneberg line, a branch line of the Werra Railway.

Mengersgereuth-Hämmern is a former municipality in the Sonneberg district of Thuringia, Germany. Since 1 January 2012, it is part of the municipality Frankenblick.

Sonneberg Observatory (German: Sternwarte Sonneberg) is an astronomical observatory and was formerly an institute of the Academy of Science in the German Democratic Republic. It was founded in 1925 by Cuno Hoffmeister and is located in Sonneberg, Thuringia, Germany. The Sonneberg Observatory has one of the world's largest collections of photographic plates in its museum of astronomy.

Föritz is a village and a former municipality on the small Föritz river, which flows into the Steinach) in the Sonneberg district of Thuringia, Germany. It was merged into the new municipality Föritztal together with Judenbach and Neuhaus-Schierschnitz on 6 July 2018.

Effelder-Rauenstein is a former municipality in the Sonneberg district of Thuringia, Germany. Since 1 January 2012, it is part of the municipality Frankenblick.

Frankenblick is a municipality in the Sonneberg district of Thuringia, Germany. Frankenblick was formed on 1 January 2012 by the merger of the former municipalities Effelder-Rauenstein and Mengersgereuth-Hämmern. Today, it consists of the districts Effelder, Rauenstein, Grümpen, Seltendorf, Rabenäußig, Rückerswind, Meschenbach, Döhlau and Mengersgereuth-Hämmern.

Rödental (German: [ˈʁøːdn̩ˌtaːl] ) is a town in the district of Coburg, northern Bavaria, Germany, 7 km northeast of Coburg. Rödental was the name given to a group of municipalities that united 1971, including Mönchröden, Oeslau, Einberg, Oberwohlsbach and Unterwohlsbach. The oldest part of Rödental is Mönchröden, founded in 1108. Mönchröden (meaning monks along the river Röden) has a 900-year-old monastery that is in well preserved condition, and contains several Gothic structures. Oeslau, the largest of the components of Rödental, is the home of the W. Goebel Porzellanfabrik porcelain factory.
