Moskovsky District (Russian: Моско́вский райо́н) is a district of the federal city of St. Petersburg, Russia. As of the 2010 Census, its population was 288,744; up from 275,884 recorded in the 2002 Census.

Pulkovsky meridian Municipal Okrug (Russian: муниципа́льный о́круг Пу́лковский меридиа́н) is a municipal okrug in Moskovsky District, one of the eighty-one low-level municipal divisions of the federal city of St. Petersburg, Russia. As of the 2010 Census, its population was 43,259, down from 46,515 recorded during the 2002 Census.Until August 2008, it was known as Municipal Okrug #47 (муниципальный округ №47).

Pulkovo Airport (Russian: Аэропорт Пулково, IPA: [ˈpuɫkəvə]) (IATA: LED, ICAO: ULLI) is an international airport serving St. Petersburg, Russia. It consists of one terminal which is located 23 km (14 mi) south of the city centre. The airport serves as a hub for Rossiya Airlines and as focus city for Smartavia. It is responsible for serving the citizens of Saint Petersburg and the Leningrad Oblast: a total of 6,120,000 people. It is the 29th-busiest airport in Europe in 2022.

Victory Square (Russian: Пло́щадь Побе́ды, Ploschad Pobedy) is a city square in the south of Saint Petersburg, Russia, named after the Soviet victory in the Great Patriotic War. It is located in the very end of Moskovsky Prospekt avenue 8 km from the city's primary Pulkovo Airport – not in the central part of the city, despite this name being common in the former Soviet cities as a central city square. The nearest metro station is Moskovskaya. The thoroughfare with the solemn ensemble of the square is the southern entrance to the city for the automotive traffic from internal Russia with its older and current capital Moscow, after which the avenue, the city district and the next square are named, and for the passengers arriving from the airport. Victory Square is home to the Monument to the Heroic Defenders of Leningrad, which commemorates the victims and survivors of the Siege of Leningrad. The monument, designed by Sergey Speranskiy and Valentin Kamenskiy, and sculpted by Mikhail Anikushin, was erected in 1975 to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the end of the war. It consists of a 48–metre high obelisk, a large circular enclosure, and a subterranean Memorial Hall.In the past, at this location there was a center of a settlement called Srednyaya Rogatka named after a Russian Empire-time security checkpoint (comparable functionality to a city gate) and road crossing. Until 1971, the royal Srednerogatsky Palace was also located here.

The Ligovsky Canal (Russian: Ли́говский кана́л) is one of the longest canals of Saint Petersburg (Russia). Constructed in 1721, it is 23 kilometres (14 mi) long. Its purpose was to supply water for the fountains of the Summer Garden. The canal delivered water from the Liga River, now called the Dudergofka to ponds on the current Nekrasov Street.

Leninsky Prospekt (Russian: Ле́нинский проспе́кт, English: Leninsky Avenue) is a station on the Kirovsko-Vyborgskaya Line of the Saint Petersburg Metro, located between Avtovo and Prospekt Veteranov. The station was opened on 29 September 1977 in the section between Avtovo and Prospekt Veteranov, replacing the temporary surface station Dachnoye. It is named after the street of the same name, where one of the entrances is located.

Shosseynaya railway station (Russian: Станция Шоссейная) is a railway station in October Railway in Saint Petersburg. It is located in the Moskovsky District of Saint Petersburg at the intersection of Pulkovo Highway and Ring Road. The name given to Kiev (now this part is called Pulkovo) highway. It was originally located on the Warsaw branch north of the current location. The base station acts as a cargo station. For the employees of the station on it stops the passing of the trains, embarkation and disembarkation are made from official vestibule of the head car. In 1967, when the Warsaw railway line merged with the Baltic, dismantling the railway on Warsaw street. Platform "Airport" was opened on the connecting line, located on the other side of the Kiev highway. After that, the station was used only for cargo. Apparently, in the same period, the station moved to the south of the former location. According to the station it was given the original name of the airport of Leningrad (now "Pulkovo") - highway.

Prospekt Veteranov (Russian: Проспе́кт Ветера́нов, Avenue of Veterans) is a station on the south end of Kirovsko-Vyborgskaya Line of the Saint Petersburg Metro, next to Leninsky Prospekt. The station was opened on October 5, 1977, along with Leninsky Prospekt. It is located near the beginning of the street of the same name. This station has no above-ground pavilion. Entrance to the station (like to Leninsky Prospekt) is provided through underground pedestrian crossings, with exits onto Prospekt Veteranov and Dachny Prospekt. The station's exit does not have escalators either. Prospekt Veteranov is a shallow column station lying in a depth of 8 metres (26 ft). The underground hall was constructed as a project of the architect V. G. Khiltchenko and the engineer S. P. Schukin. Memorial style corresponds the name of the station. The station is remarkable because it is the most crowded metro station in Russia, due to the large part of the city that it serves. Prospekt Veteranov accepts about 200,000 passengers daily. The station is also used by many as transit when traveling to Peterhof Palace. Mini-buses (marshrutkas) No. К-343, K-639-б from Prospect Veteranov metro station is one most convenient way to Peterhof.

Moskovskaya (Russian: Моско́вская) is a station on the Moskovsko–Petrogradskaya Line of the Saint Petersburg Metro. Although it was opened on December 25, 1969, it is equipped with the so-called platform screen doors. Moskovskaya metro-station is one of the first stations in the world with such a system of doors. From Moskovskaya metro-station there is a direct connection to the Terminal One of Pulkovo Airport by shuttles buses No.39, 39E and K39.

Almaz is a leading designer of high-speed combat ships and boats, including dynamically supported craft (hydrofoils, hovercraft, and surface-effect ships). Almaz is the designer of the Dergach missile air cushion vehicle, the Nanuchka and Tarantul-class missile corvettes, the Matka-class missile hydrofoil, the Pauk-class anti-submarine warfare vessel, and the Pomornik-class air cushion vehicle.
