St Paul's Roman Catholic Academy

The Scottish School of Contemporary Dance is a dance and performing arts school affiliated with the Dundee College. It offers a four-year training from foundation level and prepares students for careers as dance performers, choreographers, and community artists. The School is relatively small (approx 100 students) and has close links with a variety of professional artists, including the Scottish Dance Theatre, and Thomas Small, director of Shaper Caper. It grew from an existing one year foundation course based at Dundee College, which was started in 1991 by Peter Royston. The second and third year of training were added in 1998 and 1999. A successful bid to the National Lottery allowed the college to build a facility at its Kingsway campus, comprising dance studios and a theatre. Building began in 2001 and "The Space" was officially opened by Queen Elizabeth as part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations in 2002. The College also successfully applied to the National Lottery for a Dance Artist from the Scottish Arts Council to develop a community programme which would use the facilities at non-training times. Market research was undertaken to determine the potential for a small touring venue. The school offers training to professional level focussing on technique in Graham, Cunningham and release techniques with a strong ballet development. The school seeks to nurture students choreographically and creatively and invites specialist lecturers such as Richard Alston, Stephen Petronio, and Sean Feldman. Performances in the theatre have included those by the Scottish Ballet, the Scottish Dance Theatre, The X Factor, Stephen Petronio, and David Hughes. In September 2008 the school welcomed its first BA Hons degree students. This one year completion degree addition to the 3 or 4-year training is validated by Northumbria University and allows students to achieve levels of professional training previously only available in conservatoires in England. Dundee North End Football Club are a Scottish junior football club based in the city of Dundee. Formed in 1895 and nicknamed the Dokens, they play their home games at North End Park which has room for around 2,000 spectators and is within the vicinity of the grounds of both Dundee and Dundee United. Their strip (uniform) colours are maroon home kit and light blue away kit. The team have been managed since October 2022 by former Cardiff City player Kevin McNaughton and former Dundee United player Lewis Toshney. Dundee North End are one of the better junior teams in the Tayside league and have just added the Quest Engineering Cup to their honours list.

Kirkton is a residential housing scheme located in the north of Dundee. The area is bordered by Downfield to the west, Trottick to the east and Fairmuir to the south.

Coldside Library is a community library operated by Leisure and Culture Dundee. Its opening hours run from Monday to Saturday weekly. It offers book borrowing services, free Wi-Fi and computers for internet access, as well as educational activities for families and adults in the Dundee area. The library was one of five Carnegie libraries commissioned in 1901 for the City of Dundee. The library was designed in 1906 by city architect James Thomson as one of the first two projects undertaken after his appointment to the post in 1904. Coldside library is one of the first free libraries in Dundee and has continued to operate as a public library to this day. Towards the end of the 1940s, Coldside Library also hosted the Dundee studio for BBC Radio Scotland.

Trottick Mill Ponds and Nature Reserve is a local nature reserve located in the Trottick area in Dundee, Scotland. The nature reserve connects with the Dighty Burn and is voluntarily operated by Countryside Rangers as well as the Scottish Wildlife Trust and owned by Dundee City Council.

Woodside is a small housing area in the north of Dundee, Scotland. The area runs between Graham Street, Mains Loan and lengthwise to the Kingsway. The residential housing is mainly 1920s constructions with four homes to a block. The area is within a walkable distance of the amenities of Clepington Road, however it is home to one corner shop, Graham St. News. Xplore Dundee service the area with the No. 21 - Woodside route, which runs Monday to Saturday, from 05:50 until 18:20. A Sunday service is provided by the redirected 18A - Kirkton.

Baldragon Academy is a six-year comprehensive in the Kirkton area of the city of Dundee, Scotland. It was originally named Kirkton High School until merging with Rockwell High School in August 1997. The school is set in over 20 acres (8.1 ha) of its own grounds. The school has around 1000 pupils and serves the Kirkton, Trottick, St Mary's and Ardler areas of Dundee. This area consists of a mixture of authority and privately owned housing. The feeder primary schools are Sidlaw View, Downfield, Craigowl, Ardler and Strathmartine Primary Schools.

Tay 2 was an Independent Local Radio station based in Dundee, Scotland, owned and operated by Bauer as part of the Greatest Hits Radio network. It was broadcast in Dundee, Perth and Tayside. As of September 2022, the station had a weekly audience of 17,000 listeners, according to RAJAR.The station was relaunched as part of the Greatest Hits Radio network on 3 April 2023.
