Tannadice Park (Scottish Gaelic: Pàirc Thanachais), usually referred to as Tannadice, is a football stadium in Dundee, Scotland. It is the home ground of Dundee United F.C., who have played at Tannadice since the club was founded as Dundee Hibernian in 1909. The stadium has been all-seated since 1994 and has a capacity of 14,223. It is located only 200 yards (183 metres) from Dundee F.C.'s stadium, Dens Park; the two are the closest senior football grounds in the UK. The ground was previously known as Clepington Park, and was used by a number of local teams in the 19th century. It was the home of Dundee Wanderers F.C. from 1894 until 1909, including their single season in membership of the Scottish Football League (1894–95). The name of the ground was changed to Tannadice when Dundee Hibernian took over the lease in 1909.

Dundee United Football Club Women is a Scottish women's association football club based in Dundee that is affiliated with the professional men's club Dundee United F.C. Founded in 2015, they play in Scottish Women's Premier League 1, the first tier of the national league system, after winning promotion from the second tier in 2021–22 and third tier in 2018. They had previously been promoted from the fourth tier in their 2016 debut season.

Tay 2 was an Independent Local Radio station based in Dundee, Scotland, owned and operated by Bauer as part of the Greatest Hits Radio network. It was broadcast in Dundee, Perth and Tayside. As of September 2022, the station had a weekly audience of 17,000 listeners, according to RAJAR.The station was relaunched as part of the Greatest Hits Radio network on 3 April 2023.

Dens Park, officially known as Scot Foam Stadium for sponsorship reasons, is a football stadium in Dundee, Scotland, which is the home of Scottish Premiership club Dundee F.C. and has a capacity of 11,775. Tannadice Park, the home of rivals Dundee United, is just 200 yards (183 metres) away.

Maryfield Hospital was a hospital in Stobswell, Dundee, Scotland. Originally a poorhouse hospital it became Dundee's second main hospital after Dundee Royal Infirmary. It closed in the 1970s following the opening of Ninewells Hospital.

Dundee International Sports Center (DISC) is a sports centre in Dundee, Scotland, opened in the late 1990s. In 1998, DISC staged the European Hockey Championships. In April 2015 it hosted a Celtic Cup match between Scotland and Ireland. It was the first international wheelchair rugby league match to be played in Scotland.

St Salvador's Church is a Scottish Episcopal Church building in Dundee, designed in a Gothic Revival version of the English, Welsh and Scottish Decorated Style by George Frederick Bodley (with St Bride's Church, Glasgow one of only two churches by him in Scotland). Its dedication is a medieval Scottish version of Saint Saviour's.

Mains Castle (also known as Claverhouse Castle or Fintry Castle ) is a 16th-century castle in Dundee, Scotland. The castle consists of several buildings surrounding a courtyard, although several of the original western buildings no longer exist. The northern and eastern buildings are where the family would have lived, with the servants occupying the southern quarters. The castle also has a large, six-floor, square tower house with dressed cornerstones, which is typical of 16th-century construction. It is a Category A listed building.The castle is located in Dundee's Caird Park to the north of the city overlooking the Dichty valley and adjacent to a small stream known as the Gelly Burn. On the opposite side of the burn is located the mausoleum of the Graham family and the Main's cemetery, which was formerly the site of the district's kirk.The castle and its grounds was the subject of a poem by Dundee poet William McGonagall in his work The Castle of Mains.

Stobswell is an area of Dundee, Scotland with a population of approximately 10,000. It was originally a small hamlet outside the city until the industrial revolution caused the growth of Dundee. The area is by and large a residential area. Schools in the area are Morgan Academy Secondary School, Glebelands Primary School and Clepington Primary School. The area is home to the Dundee International Sports Centre (D.I.S.C.).

The Scottish School of Contemporary Dance is a dance and performing arts school affiliated with the Dundee College. It offers a four-year training from foundation level and prepares students for careers as dance performers, choreographers, and community artists. The School is relatively small (approx 100 students) and has close links with a variety of professional artists, including the Scottish Dance Theatre, and Thomas Small, director of Shaper Caper. It grew from an existing one year foundation course based at Dundee College, which was started in 1991 by Peter Royston. The second and third year of training were added in 1998 and 1999. A successful bid to the National Lottery allowed the college to build a facility at its Kingsway campus, comprising dance studios and a theatre. Building began in 2001 and "The Space" was officially opened by Queen Elizabeth as part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations in 2002. The College also successfully applied to the National Lottery for a Dance Artist from the Scottish Arts Council to develop a community programme which would use the facilities at non-training times. Market research was undertaken to determine the potential for a small touring venue. The school offers training to professional level focussing on technique in Graham, Cunningham and release techniques with a strong ballet development. The school seeks to nurture students choreographically and creatively and invites specialist lecturers such as Richard Alston, Stephen Petronio, and Sean Feldman. Performances in the theatre have included those by the Scottish Ballet, the Scottish Dance Theatre, The X Factor, Stephen Petronio, and David Hughes. In September 2008 the school welcomed its first BA Hons degree students. This one year completion degree addition to the 3 or 4-year training is validated by Northumbria University and allows students to achieve levels of professional training previously only available in conservatoires in England. Trottick Mill Ponds and Nature Reserve is a local nature reserve located in the Trottick area in Dundee, Scotland. The nature reserve connects with the Dighty Burn and is voluntarily operated by Countryside Rangers as well as the Scottish Wildlife Trust and owned by Dundee City Council.
