Monte Talvena

The Schiara (Italian: Monte Schiara) is a mountain in the southern Dolomites of Veneto in northern Italy. It is located just north of the town of Belluno, approximately 50 miles north of Venice. Monte Schiara has an elevation of 2,565 metres.

The Duran Pass (Italian: Passo Duran) (el. 1601 m.) is a high mountain pass in the Dolomites in the province of Belluno in Italy. It is situated between the municipality of La Valle Agordina and Zoldo Alto; it connects Agordo in the Cordevole valley and Pralongo in the Zoldo valley. The pass road is SS 347. There are two restaurants and a little church at the summit. The pass is regularly used on the Giro d'Italia, with the last edition to climb the Duran being the 2012 Giro. Climbing from the classic Agordo side, the climb averages 8.1% for 12.2 km, with a maximum gradient of 14%.

La Valle Agordina is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Belluno in the Italian region Veneto, located about 90 kilometres (56 mi) north of Venice and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) northwest of Belluno. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,217 and an area of 48.7 square kilometres (18.8 sq mi).The municipality of La Valle Agordina contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Cugnago, Fadés, Lantrago, Matten, Conaggia, Chiesa, Torsas, Gaidòn, Ronche, Ronchet, Cancellade, Noàch, Le Campe, and La Muda. La Valle Agordina borders the following municipalities: Agordo, Forno di Zoldo, Longarone, Rivamonte Agordino, Sedico, Zoldo Alto.

The Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park (in Italian: Parco nazionale delle Dolomiti Bellunesi) is a national park in the province of Belluno, Veneto, in the northern Italy. Established in 1988, the national park is included in the section "Pale di San Martino - San Lucano - Dolomiti Bellunesi - Vette Feltrine" of the Dolomites declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2009.

The Bellunes Alps (German: Belluneser Alpen, Italian: Prealpi Bellunesi) is the now obsolete name of a mountain range on the southern edge of the Eastern Alps. They lie in the Italian regions of Venetia and Trentino-South Tyrol. They cover the provinces of Treviso, Pordenone and part of Vicenza. The name is derived from the town of Belluno. Their highest peak is Col Nudo at 2,472 m s.l.m.. They are part of the Southern Limestone Alps, and are mainly made of the chalk limestone of the Southern Alps with summit region made of main dolomite. The Bellunes Alps used to be an independent group in the Alpine Club Classification of the Eastern Alps (AVE) and had the number 55. In 1984 they were divided; the northern part being assigned to the Dolomites, and the southern part to the Southern Carnic Alps – the latter also appeared as the Bellunes Prealps (Belluneser Voralpen) in the Partizione delle Alpi where it formed Group 55d of the Venetian Alps (55). The northern part is also called the Bellunes Dolomites or Schiara Group, after its highest peak, Monte Schiara (2,565 m s.l.m.). In 1990, the northern, dolomitic part was declare a national park: the Bellunes Dolomites National Park.

Zoldo Alto is a town in the province of Belluno, Veneto, Italy. It has been a frazione of Val di Zoldo since 2016. It is noted for its ski resort. A boarding school was established in the 1950s, used by the children during spring and autumn and senior citizens during the winter months. On 31 January 1991 the municipality was affected by the Ru Duelle Roe landslide, which affected the right flank of the Ru delle Roe stream in the dolomitic slopes of Cime di San Sebastiano and Moiazza. The region is a producer of fresh and mature cheeses.

It is located about 100 kilometres (62 mi) north of Venice and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) northwest of Belluno. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 973 and an area of 23.0 square kilometres (8.9 sq mi).Voltago Agordino borders the following municipalities: Agordo, Gosaldo, Rivamonte Agordino, Taibon Agordino and Tonadico.

Belluno railway station (Italian: Stazione di Belluno) serves the town and comune of Belluno, in the Veneto region, northeastern Italy. Opened in 1912, it forms part of the Calalzo–Padua railway. The station is currently owned by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI). The commercial area of the passenger building is managed by Centostazioni. Train services to and from the station are regional trains operated by Trenitalia. Each of these companies is a subsidiary of Ferrovie dello Stato (FS), Italy's state-owned rail company.
